  1. Meh, I did it easy at 40/35/40 with adamant and a rune long. Two strength doses, no prayer used, ten lobbies eaten. Pssh.
  2. How many bank spaces does F2P have?
  3. And you have to use the pick on the wall.
  4. No, new update - you need waterskins for the mine now. It's been this way for a month, I think. :x
  5. free players can own any rare, and they cost anywhere from 10M to 700M, depending on what it is. They're "rare" because no more are made, ever - they were discontinued years ago.
  6. Wear desert robes, and bring a knife and 24-26 waterskins. Fill them up, mine a rock, drop it, mine, drop. Or you could mine three, drop three, mine three, etc. etc.
  7. Do you know where the Barbarian Village is? I can't get a picture now... west of Varrock and south of Edgeville. Use the handy world map in the game screen. The Stronghold of Security is in the center of the Village, shown by an exclamation point on the map. Just find the hole in the ground, surrounded by coal and tin rocks. Explore through it, but don't go too far - there's some dangerous stuff, especially for a pure with 1 defense. Try killing minotaurs - they're on the first floor you arrive on. You'll figure the place out easy enough, as long as you're not a half-wit.
  8. Actually, the helm alone is worth more than 2 million, simply because it doesn't protect when you die. That way, a lot of Guthan helms are lost... And if you ain't gonna get the spear, then get Torags. Cheaper and better defense!
  9. And plus, the dragonhide helps ward off those pesky mages! I'd say go for it, you'll like the healthy dose of Strength XP as well. No attack XP, either!
  10. Yes, it acts as a brown apron would.
  11. It's only 2 topics, and your post is more spammy than... well, it's just spammy. And it's never safe to travel into the wilderness. Even if you where a pink skirt, chef hat, apron, bronze dagger, leather boots, and carry an inventory full of pots, ashes, and leather gloves, yelling out "I am the Prince of Junk! Don't kill me!" Which I know people who do that. Or something similar to that. Anyways, point is, the wilderness was, is, and forever shall be a dangerous place. Don't take items you aren't willing to lose. Just take nothing the first time you enter, and explore a bit.
  12. Assuming you're F2P, the minotaurs and flesh crawlers are nice in the Stronghold of Security. The hobgoblins outside of the Crafting Guild are nice as well. Hill giants also are good, plus they drop big bones!
  13. Well, you're only paying 60 GP for a load of lobsters and you're guaranteed to come back alive. The wild is a nice place to fish when you're PKing, to replenish supplies.
  14. Well, you can get quite nice looking armor in the form of god armors or gilded, which perform as good as rune. Performance-wise, Torag's plate and legs is the best defensive bonus in the game (except Third Age, which is way too expensive for you). A whip would of course be the best weapon that you could get, and a dragon scimitar is quite good for training Strength. It's a tossup between rune defender, which provides attack bonus, and a dragon square, which provides a better defense bonus. Defenders are essentially free, however. Even after buying a whip, dragon square, and Torag plate+legs, you could quite possibly still afford a Fury, unless you want to save your money. An ideal setup for combat would be: Berserker Helm Torag's plate and legs Amulet of Glory Whip + Defender/Obby shield/dragon square Rune boots Obby or Legend's cape And maybe a Warrior ring. They're about 700-800k I think.
  15. Yeah, I wore full HAM while pickpocketing HAMs and got my first clue within 15 minutes. You're just having some bad luck, sadly. And guards are pretty good I hear, but I had crappy luck with them. 700+ killed and I never got a clue.
  16. Selling flax or bowstrings is nice. Flax is 100 each and bowstrings are 170-200 each. Flax is picked south of the Seers Village bank, and spun in the upstairs of a nearby house - look for a ladder slightly north and west.
  17. I hear that it's hard enough with only 56 agility anyways. Might want to bring quite a few pies...
  18. 200 Iron arrows got me from 10-46 range, so I'd say 200-300 arrows from 1 to 40 range. Picking up, mind you. Without picking up, I'd say up to 1,000 arrows, maybe 700-800.
  19. Minotaurs in the Stronghold of Security are nice, there are safespots and they drop plenty of iron arrows.
  20. Can't you read? Hes f2p that means to Can't merchant guthans, durr. Anyways, I'd say merchant...full runes, buy in world 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 for 175kea-185kea then sell for 200kea in varrock bank in worlds with pop of 1800-1900 people, if your good you can do 10+ at once, very good cash, only if your good at it. Give it a try, see if your good at it : I wouldn't suggest that... even now in F2P it's quite hard to sell full rune for 200K.
  21. Dude, I used to look exactly like that! Except you substitute the cape for a yellow one and the mask for a... pumpkin head!
  22. A few houses north of the Draynor bank, look for the NPC Morgan.
  23. Archive of Wisdom: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=462229 But he said Fight Pits with Guthans...
  24. Oh, you can easily beat the third form. Just bring an attack and strength pot, though not necessary, some decent food, and a ring of recoil or two. Note that you do not have to beat the fourth form at all, it's only to get the Fremennik blade.
