Just lay it out for them. Tell them that they can either accept your apology and the money or they can turn it down and nothing will get done. If they're too ignorant to realize that you are sincerely sorry, that what happened was out of your control, and that you're fully willing to be the better person by reimbursing the car, then you can't do anything.

Haha. You're implying that games without multiplayer get boring after a few weeks? The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time came out years and years ago but is it boring yet? No. There are tons of games with out multiplayer that are amazing. Sure, Halo 3 is good but BioShock clearly won. It was a game that has never been done before. It was clearly worthy of GotY.

My gamertag for 360 is: Fata1 Gh0st I prefer pro face-off or face-off on hard or expert.

I'll give my top three in no particular order and then choose my favorite: [hide=Guitar Hero III]I love this game. It's like a drug for me. I've played it so much and yet I still have so much room to improve. There's really not a whole lot to say about it. The songs are great. I strongly prefer this game to Rock Band. Cons: None?[/hide] [hide=BioShock]An amazing game. The second I played the demo, I was interested. Walking into the room after the plane crash only to have the door slam shut and be left in complete darkness with this eerie music playing. It gave me chills. The enemies were so much fun to fight. The splicer never got old and the Big Daddies were one of my favorite enemies from any video game. My only con was that if you died, you could respawn, go do some damage, die, and respawn. Lather, rinse, repeat.[/hide] [hide=Halo 3]I know a lot of people on this forum hate the game and the series. I'm sure some say they hate the game just to be unique. I'm just going to come out and say that I love it. I never get tired of playing the multiplayer and my friends and I have never laughed harder than when we're screwing around in Forge. Also, no one can deny the ultimate success of the game. Someone earlier said that it shouldn't be on the list just because of the success of the first game. You're right, it shouldn't. It rightfully earned a spot on the top games list. Cons: Single player was kind of monotonous sometimes. Only levels I really liked were the Flood levels because they were so damn challenging. The last level was rather anticlimactic. A warthog ride is cool but there was no time limit. I could just stroll through if I wanted.[/hide] [hide=The Rest]There are quite a few games that could probably run for the top spot that I haven't played. CoD:4 and Phantom Hourglass are right on the top of my "Must Have" list. I'm also thinking about picking up an Orange Box.[/hide] Anyway, my pick for game of the year goes to: [hide=GOTY]BioShock with Halo 3 and Guitar Hero III coming close behind.[/hide]

Kind of odd that you posted this today. My brother died exactly 7 years ago today. When it happened I just cried. A lot. Then I talked about it with family and stuff. I think about him everyday now. The best advice I can give is to just grieve for a while.

BleachExile.com has a good manga viewer. You can read both Bleach and Naruto as well as a lot of other mangas right on the site and it's pretty good quality too.

Bleh, I was going for the Steelers. At least the Cowboys pulled off another miracle win.

Meh, I have a lot of friends at school who don't play real guitar yet bash Guitar Hero because they think it's a silly game. I quote, "Why would play a game when you could do the real thing?" to which I reply with my FPS analogy. I'm sorry if it's a little extreme but it shuts them up and I guess I've gotten so used to saying it. A better analogy would be sports games. Like for example, skateboarding games. I'm sure a lot of people play those who won't ever want to try and actually skateboard. It takes a lot of practice and skills to actually do it. Yeah, your probably right.

I don't think you understand how big and how small the numbers are. Illegal immigration is a very insignificant part of the population increase. It would maybe stop us from reaching that overpopulation "point" by about a week or something. The kind of "less full" delay you want would require stopping all immigration and deporting all first-generation citizens. My argument was aimed at those who wanted to allow all immigration. The fact that it's already illegal makes it ok but if we were to open up our country to anybody who wanted to come, the population would start increasing more and you would see changes in places like emergency rooms. Just because it hasn't exactly gotten to that point yet, doesn't mean it won't if we open our arms to everyone.

So you're saying that 99% of all Americans are just mindless idiots? That's odd. I'd just love to see where you got that information. Glad your being sarcastic. Because if we started tearing down wildlife preserves, national parks, and forests to build houses, we'd end up more screwed than we were in the first place. Snobby, elitist sport? I play golf. My family is middle-class. Definitely not rich or snobby and we don't consider ourselves to be elite in any way. Yet we play golf. So do a lot of my friends. It's a relaxing sport. It may take up land but so do football fields, baseball fields, soccer fields, bowling alleys, etc. It would be stupid to take away the fun that each citizen has a right to just to make room for illegal immigrants. Yes, we were once all immigrants. Way back in a time when America was growing. Even just one hundred years ago, our population was so much smaller that we could take on more people. In fact, we wanted more people. Times have changed now. I would too. But it can't happen. So we have to keep the 10 million lazys and deny the 10 million workers. It's sad but it's life. Emergency rooms would be full but they would be less full. Same with prisons. It wouldn't solve one hundred percent of our problems but it would certainly help. The fact of the matter is that the U.S. isn't full yet but we have a higher birthrate than deathrate. If we were successful in keeping out all illegal immigrants, we would still one day become overpopulated. Right now, we're trying to delay that inevitable event. Honestly, I'm not heartless. I feel sorry for the immigrants that want a better life but aren't able to come here. It probably is selfish to keep them out. But that's the way things are.

This time also could have been spent practicing REAL guitar... This is the first time someone has ever pointed this out. Thank you, I will drop my game and go spend a few hundred bucks on a guitar. :uhh: At least the second half of his post contained some of the intelligence this forum needs. But I do agree, I am rather sick of people pointing out that we could play a real guitar instead. That's like saying we should drop FPS games and go kill real people.

Reminds of something we used to do each year in elementary school. We would each take an egg and use supplies to get it to survive a 50ft drop. Most people used shoe boxes and stuff. My third and fourth grade teacher would take the surviving eggs and make scrambled eggs with them and give all the kids in the class some. It was fun. Anyway, on a more on topic note, the jack idea sounds the best to me. Maybe add a parachute or streamer kind of thing with any extra paper to help slow it down some while it's in the air.

I know how you feel. I started on medium and the blue button killed me. Then I got used to it and tried to go up to hard but I could never hit the orange button. It took be so long to work my way into hard. Going from hard to expert was much easier.

I'm a sophomore in high school now. I had planned on being an engineer of some sort but it never really interested me. Now I'm thinking about going into premed. It'd be great if I could get a scholarship to a good medical school. If I don't, I'll probably go to a university here in Texas.

I cant even use my pinky. :P neither can i, and i'm on expert. My sister only plays with 3 fingers and has beat the game on expert! I cant even beat hard with all 4 fingers. She must have lightning fast hands. I can't imagine doing some of those songs with three fingers. Especially the final battle.
-
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time wins by a long shot for me. I've beaten that game countless times and it never gets old. Right now, I'm addicted to the Guitar Hero games. Amazing.

Honestly, I don't care. Bury me, cremate me, whatever. Though it would be kind of cool to have my deceased body float around in space.

Cult of Personality is gonna driving me nuts on expert. I finally got to the point where I could do the first solo on slow in practice almost perfectly but when I moved up to full speed, I completely screwed up. I'm going to go insane.
-
Man. I'm almost done with set 7 on expert. Just need to beat 3's and 7's and then the Encore song. Then I'll be stuck at the same place I'm stuck at on hard. Edit: Beat 3's and 7's but my God, the solo on Cult of Personality is ridiculous. It's gonna take me a day or two.

The Easiest 1000 Gamerscore You'll Get (Hold B For 2 Min.)

I don't see a point in gamerscore but my friend apparently does. He rented Cars last week just for the gamerscore. His total is 50,509. -
My friend let me borrow GH3. I've worked up to set 8 on hard and set 7 on expert. I beat "Cliffs of Dover" but the other three songs in set 8 on hard are killing me. On expert, I beat "Knights of Cydonia" and I've almost got "Before I Forget" and "Stricken" down but "3's and 7's" is killing me. It's a fun game. Drives me nuts sometimes, though.

Depends on what you're buying. I just went out and bought a couple of games for my 360. I planned on buying the games anyway and, by buying them yesterday, I saved money. I don't need accessories because I have everything needed to play the games at my house. So even though the day of sales does screw some people over, it definitely saved me a little money.

In 8th grade: Romeo and Juliet - I hated it. In 9th grade: Julius Caesar - I hated it too. Shakespeare hasn't interested me much at this point. Ellie Wiesel's Night - I loved it. 12 Angry Men - I loved it. Of Mice and Men - I loved it. In 10th grade: The Crucible - It was pretty good In My Father's House - It's a great book so far.

I have it reserved. I'm not guaranteed a copy on Tuesday unless I have it paid off by 9pm tomorrow so I'm going to go pay it off tomorrow and have my mom pick it up while I'm at school on Tuesday.
