You know, I don't love Bush but he's nowhere near as bad as you and many other people make him sound. If he were really as bad as you say, we either wouldn't be a stable country anymore or he would've been thrown out of office a long time ago. You see, the media tells people like you and I all the bad things he's done. That's all they tell you. It's people like you that soak it up like a sponge and figure that he's all bad. What would people think of you if they only knew every bad aspect of your life and weren't told anything good about you? I don't think they would think very highly of you.

[hide]I'm pretty sure it's because he loved all of the innocent people so much that he was willing to die for them. This in turn allowed Harry to die to get rid of the horcrux inside of him but still be able to return and finish Voldemort off.[/hide]

9/10 I missed the Bank of America one and now that I look at the "How we knew" part, I feel kind of stupid for missing it. Ah well.

I don't really see how he deserved what he got. Honestly, Snape put Voldemort at a huge disadvantage. Snape was on Dumbledore's and the Order's side the whole time but only Dumbledore and himself knew it.

That's probably my second favorite car. I like everything but the gas mileage is horrible.

Oh if only you were around back during school so I could use you on my Spanish homework. Nah, I'm only joking. I take German anyway. It'll be fun to watch this thread though. I don't have anything specific to ask you to translate but I'll just read what you translate for others.

@ Lionheart: Someone in my neighborhood has a sky blue version of that car. It's pretty cool. Anyway, my dream car would have to be the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet. In addition to this, I'd want a nice SUV though. Lexus makes some nice SUVs that I wouldn't mind owning.

I wear these most of the time. I wear New Balance whenever I need actual shoes though.

Zelda and Starcraft. The only two video games series' that I need to survive. Although Starcraft is only one game and an expansion, I'm expecting greatness out of Starcraft II.

It's all just opinion. Halo haters will always say Halo is overrated because in their eyes, it is. In fact, I think RPGs are overrated. I hate them and I'm not afraid to admit that that's why I think they're overrated. Many people find them so amazing and I just find them boring. Anyway, let's not turn another perfectly good Halo topic into an argument about the quality of the games. To be slightly more on-topic, to any one who says that Master Chief will die, I think otherwise. I just think it would be disappointing to have played through the first 2 games and now the third one while dying plenty of times along the way only to be lead to a point in which Master Chief dies "for real".

Like some people have said before, you need facts to back up the things you claim. So many people out there say they hate Bush and when they're asked why, they start spilling out the same old crap that the media has been telling us day in and day out. So many people act like broken records by whining about the same stuff the media states. It's amazing how they can state an abundance of bad aspects about Bush (a lot of which are not true) but they can never say anything good about him. Not because he didn't do anything good. But because they're too ignorant to figure things out for themselves and soak up everything the media says like a sponge.

You make it sound as though you'll be able to have a normal life and have a normal job if you're deaf. Also, you won't be able to hear your wife or kids. Lastly, you imply that being blind would lower your chances of finding a wife and having kids. That may be somewhat true but it won't lower your chances any more than being deaf would. Honestly, I think it would be easier to meet women if you're blind. Chances are, you won't find a woman who knows sign language right off. I'm not saying being deaf is worse, I'm just saying that you make it sound like a walk in the park.

It seems that I'm in the minority when it comes to this question. I'd rather be blind. I would hate having to lose my sight and it would probably make going through everyday life much harder but I don't think I could stand losing my hearing. I love music and I love to be able to hear people's voices. I guess eternal darkness just appeals to me more than eternal silence. Also, I can get a guide dog to keep me company and help me through life if I'm blind.

It doesn't go into any detail or anything. They just had children. If that's too bad to be published in a book like Harry Potter, then there's something wrong with society. Besides, book 7 is a lot darker, more violent, and it contains a bit of strong language. It's not much of a children's book anymore. To be more on topic, I'm looking forward to the encyclopedia. I'll mainly be looking forward to it so I can find out what happened to other characters later on in life. The epilogue to book 7 failed miserably at that.

[hide]I completely agree with you. The epilogue was the only real downside to the book. I saw the nineteen years later and was expecting something great that told a little bit about each of the main characters. I wanted to know how Teddy coped with being raised without any real parents (though it was presumably much better than Harry's upbringing). I wanted to know each of their careers and who succeeded Dumbledore and Snape as headmaster of Hogwarts. Ah well, maybe Rowling will end up writing something later on to clear some things up for us. I kind of doubt it, though.[/hide]

[hide]The book was great. I was really glad that she made the end fight between Harry and Voldemort the way she did. It would have been ridiculous to use the twin core thing again and even more ridiculous if Harry beat Voldemort out of pure skill. I didn't really care for the Epilogue. I wanted some info on other characters.[/hide]

My friend's home is my home away from home. His mom is like my really good aunt and the rest of his family is practically my family. I don't really have any secluded, peaceful spot that I like to go to or anything.

I text somewhat. I only regularly text with two of my friends so I only need around 200 a month. I enjoy texting though. It saves me the trouble of finding the time to keep a conversation. I can reply at my leisure and vice versa. Also, it's a lot easier to text during school than it is to talk.

I fully agree. There are some 21 year olds who don't have the responsibility to handle drinking but their are some 13 year olds who could do just fine. Usually, maturity comes with age but not always.

Guess he feels like going out with a bang. He probably figures that he's screwed up so much already that he may as well make the rest of America hate him before he gets out of office. Wonder what else he'll do before 2008.

Brian Regan. I thought about saying Dane Cook but I think I prefer Brian Regan a little bit more.

I like mine. It's pretty good. It lacks video but I never used that on my old phone anyway.

I wear a size 12 in US but I have a friend who wears 15. Him and I are both 15 years old.

The smoking ban in England, 1st July, Bye bye cancer-sticks.
No_OnE replied to ThoseTheBrokes's topic in Off-Topic
I agree. It's bad enough that people smoke but if they want to, then we can't and shouldn't try to stop them. The only thing we can do is restrict them from smoking around non-smokers. Anyone who is against this is just ignorant. Nothing bad comes out of this. -
my grandmother is nearly dead. she died at 29 june ='(

Ah man. I'm sorry to here that. I hope you and you're family are doing ok. I've been through the same thing before and I know how bad it is. I hope things get better.
