Thats just the thing, its not just one thing: there are suggestions on this board alone for mage armour, more bank space, more NPCS and assorted others - If F2p were ever updated with one of them the others would instantly gain a precendant and be able to ask for more and mroe stuff - I doubt it would stay at "just one item" for long. It seems to be an everything or nothing game here, and as everything would be unfair to members it will have to be nothing (or very little) also, dont most 99 wcers cut willows :-s I read they were the fastest XP.

On the old school Amiga (man I feel old with these people posting ps1 games :lol: ) the first and only zool (the best 2d platformer ever) Goblins 1+2 (hard as hell point + click with 2 characters, each with different interactions and duo moves :shock: ) Both of these were finished at a similar time in the misty depths of my childhood.

Ah see that may have some significance seeing how those are rarely/never used in members Yew/Mage short being the weapon of choice and steel being the ammo for training, rune for pking. I'd wager they gave these to F2p to give them a use more than anything - whereas mystic and the like are widely used.

I'm unaware as to the exact details of what Jagex added to F2p ranging, if you could provide me with said details then I'd be more than pleased to discuss it with you. As for the SoS - how much attention do most people pay in tutorial island? Most just rush through it - hence all the "how do I woodcut plox" questions around lumbridge. By adding both a financial and equipment based incentive more people would pay attention - thats the best guess I can give anyway, I'm not privy to jagex reasoning after all, I can only guess.

Thanks for a mature reply, I posted on the mage robes thread only to be personally flamed and deemed to have lack of integrity :lol: Anyway, on topic. Having had a scan over the list I take issue with only a few things (although I concede right now I havent been F2p for a while so I'm not insulting you in anyway, only asking) What use is there in f2p for daggers and maces? Bars and Ores - surely you cannot have both at the same time? If selling the raw ores then you simply have to take the plunge and sell, or make them into bars. Thinking about it perhaps the biggest problem is the random event clothing, would you agree? Perhaps some form of storage akin to the Members only Costume room would be the best solution to this problem although I am unsure as to how it would be implemented. Never seen a gen store out of stock either but I take your point :wink: Once again thanks for a pleasant response *EDIT* just adding in something I missed - I of course did not mean all F2P would attempt to "take a yard" as I have a great deal of respect for F2P, but the unfortunate fact is these people exist, and must be taken into account when attempting to understand Jagex's reasoning.

You are right I'm going to disagree with you, I became a member with level 55 mage having completed all the quests with decent skills and don't think your little trick of saying "I bet you will just disagree with me" will stop me telling the truth - sneakiness is not appreciated (I bet you are just going to disagree with this just to prove me wrong :wink: ) Yup I read the whole thing, and whilst there were other more sensible suggestions I found this one absolutely ludicrous, if you know its impossible, why bother putting it in there? Just because I'm not everyone I don't get a say? F2p isn't everyone either :wink: Also wands and higher level mage armours such as Infinity are rarely used in riskable combat due to their stupefying cost - Mystic has and will always be a main training armour for P2p up until Ahrims and needs to stay unique for that reason You still have the wrong end of the stick, my argument why Jagex does not update F2p mages is because less people may join P2P, not because P2P people would stop, please read what I write carefully. \ personal abuse in place of an arguement ftw! \ Tell me where I showed a lack of integrity please?
