Does the lack of rarity of it make it any less of an acheivment? Almost 200 people have all 99 skills yet does that make it a 2/10? No. Same acheivement no matter how many people get it. I'm sorry that you can't see that basic logic because your too narrow minded. 8.5/10 Yeah, same achievement. That's why I said it ain't particulary bad to get the 99. But if you post it here, you basically say: "look at me, I have something to show!". So, I see the pic, and realize I see 99 strength all the time, I give a low rating. It just ain't special. Or, if you want to specify it, it's just as special as 67 herblore or 65 runecraft. So, basically, that's my opinion, so I rate based on that. I'm very sorry I'm not all like "ZOMG IT R SO GUD 10/10" which some people tend to do at every freaking achievement that gets posted here. I'd rather be honest. You can whine all you like, but I'm entitled to my opinion. Whatever your opinion is, is your business, and feel free to state it. Not that I'd care, though. So, yeah, 3/10.

Runescape can take up quite a bit of your computer resources. If the fan speed is automatically regulated, then it's possible the fan will be blowing harder whenever load / temperature increases. Nothing special. More load = higher temperature = higher fan speed required. When the temperature is normal, the fan speed will switch to a lower speed, thus being relatively quiet. Whenever the temperature increases, the fan will start blowing harder, till the temperature is back to normal. So, in short, yes.. it should be doing this.

Bands I like: -Amorphis -Apocalyptica -Before The Dawn -Dark Tranquility -Entwine -Kotiteollisuus -Midnattsol -Mokoma -Sonata Arctica -Scar Symmetry -Stam1na -Therion Finland and Sweden have the greatest metal bands, by far. I also like a lot of their female fronted (power)metal bands, but I haven't named them here.

First of all, they should raise the xp cap. Why "only" 200m xp in a skill? I believe there is no technical limitation that makes the xp cap get stuck at 200m. Why would you put a limit on it? As for the level cap... I think it's a bad idea. Allthough being able to get skills up higher is a nice idea, all of the current RS content would get too easy. Today's rs content is matched with the current possible levels. But perhaps Jagex will find a way..

3/10 for the 99's. But 8/10 for having all buyables at 99 now.

You'll notice the difference when you time it. I've cut around 80k magic logs and found reasonable improvements in speed on the way to 99 and beyond.

You'd be surprised at the mistakes scientists still make. They are certainly not gods anymore in today's society. I'm currently doing cancer research, and my supervisor (who set up the experiment) had to look in a student's text book because he forgot about the basics (at least, what we call basics in our work field) of how the individual components that were studied normally behave. Just one example of how scientists are merely humans. You will notice when you'd start working on a research lab. (It's fun though) Human cells have a lot of safety measures that protect from mutation. Proof reading, cell cycle arrests, sometimes even "rewriting" a small part of the branch. Viruses don't have that machinery. Viruses simply have a DNA/RNA (single strand or dual strand) which is pretty much error prone in it's replication. Therefore, a human cell would recognize something being wrong in the DNA, and simply arrest the cell in its growth untill it's fixed. If it can't be fixed, the cell will probably just turn on its caspase routes and induce apoptosis. Most of the safeguards against mutations have nothing to do with the cell membrane. Lets take P53 (the most well known safeguard in the cell) for example. I quote from Wikipedia: Yes, it says anti-cancer, because cancer is the one disease that needs DNA damage in order to develop. And yes, I know Wikipedia isn't a good source, but this is all backed up with my knowledge and study books, and Wikipedia is accessible for everyone.

The chaos of F2P being able to post on the forums would only be because of their numbers. The RSOF is already very crowded, and quadrupling the user base there just isn't a good idea. So I agree with the idea to only hand out posting rights to high levelled players. And that's not because F2P'ers would merely spam or clutter the forums with senseless crap. P2P'ers are well enough established in doing that. I mean.. look at the RSOF, can it sink even lower? (despite the fact that there are actually quite a bunch of good people posting there)

The Clip does not have built in speakers. Also, the Shuffle and Clip are not nearly the same. Sure, same size and price range.. but the Clip has better sound quality, better sound customizing options, a screen, a physical clip (great for running), UMS support, better codec support and the possibility to run Rockbox in het future.

Nothing weird about a new guy telling something about himself first. Also, he's the CEO.. not the content developer. So I don't think his actual Runescape level matters. Remember, there are Jagex staff members that don't even play RS. Yet they're able to do their job.

Aviansies / green dragons are much, much more profitable compared with slayer. If you want profit, there's no need to train slayer. Only train slayer if you like the skill.

True. True. Why should we be preserved? That's an opinion. A human view on life. What do we even know? We don't *have* to be preserved at all. Sure, I'd like to live a bit longer, if possible.. but the "need" to is something we humans made up.
