  1. They wouldn't have to tell us exactly what they did with the report. I mean, that would pretty much be violating the "privacy" of the player. Though, they could give us a general idea about the reporting quality. Like a percentage or something.
  2. Because the boss is not a god. The god swords are coming from the gods. If you want a bandos club, it would be general graardor's club, and not bandos' club. And it would be kree'arra's bow, and not armadyl's bow, etc.
  3. From a development point of view, Jagex has all the right reasons to not release a lot of high levelled content. It'd be weird to constantly release content for a select group of players.. and indeed.. high levels can still enjoy lower levelled content. Nothing wrong with that. Though, Jagex could still release high levelled content once in a while. It's simply weird to not have content for high level ranges. That would mean the high end part of the game would be pretty much obsolete. It wouldn't hurt if Jagex designated just a few updates a year for high levelled players.
  4. They don't have to act. If people want to buy broken pickaxes, that's their choice. Jagex' never stated it will be a new rare (and it won't), so these people have no rights to complain. Jagex does not need to babysit this.
  5. An untrimmed version of the least respected cape in the game. And you're proud of that? I mean, sure.. 130cmb is pretty decent, but you're pretty much admitting that your skills fail at 130cmb.
  6. Why even create towns if players won't use them? Waste of map space. Imo, if you create a place on the world map, make it usable. So, if Jagex creates new content, they might aswell place it somewhere in a town that isn't used much. Deserted towns just ruin the "feel" of the game.
  7. Bauke replied to Jadinko's topic in General Discussion
    No, fail.
  8. The basic stuff. I made oak larders till 99. Think it works the same for oak doors (I'm too cheap for a dungeon).
  9. I only have a bunch of people in my friends list that I know outside of Runescape. Making "friends" ingame is pretty much impossible, for me at least. Mostly people just want to abuse you, thinking you're some sort of walking guidebook or money vending machine. I don't need that crap. People that ask to be my friend are an instant no. They obviously have no idea about how friendship evolves.
  10. Runescape doesn't mute, Jagex does. And yes, they do have the right. They still own the accounts.
  11. Hehe, that's exactly what I feel about the album. I like the Celtic'ish feel on some of their songs (like Last of the Wilds)
  12. and NO BLACKMARKS Also add the degrading blackmark system. Why? A lot of members have blackmarks. Why can't F2P'ers have blackmarks when they wish to post on the forums? You make it sound as P2P is intrinsically better compared to F2P, which is not true. The only reason F2P is refrained from being able to post on the forums is the enormous clutter it would bring along with it. The RSOF is already quite crowded and adding millions people more would bring chaos. That's the reason Jagex will have a cut off point on letting F2P'ers have access to the forums. Not because they would be bad people, compared to P2P. Therefore adding blackmarks into this discussion isn't right.
  13. Not original, but it's quite a decent outfit, so pretty much ok. 6/10.
  14. That idea is: Stupid - [X] Smart - [ ]
  15. I doubt emulators are illegal. I think it's only the ROM's, since those games are copyright protected. That makes it illegal to spread them or download them if you don't own a copy already (allthough legislation might differ between countries).
  16. Burthorpe. Or use slayer points.
  17. My thought is that it's already been posted in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=784191
  18. Ofcourse the stuff is already there. Jagex wants you to get P2P. Nothing wrong with a little encouragement.
  19. My logic not flawed, it's just different. I rate based on the combination of effort and showability of the achievement. I'm not just rating on effort, since that, in my opinion, isn't fit for such a forum. This forum is to show your achievement. Therefore -once again- in my opinion, it's a combination of these two factors. If you base it merely on the effort put in, everyone (70k+ people) could post there 99 here and they'd get a high rating. In my opinion something should be worth showing. Clearly, if you're number 70k to post here (hypothetically, ofcourse) people would be all like "z0mfg, not another one". And, a rating is based on your opinion about the achievement showed. Therefore my rate is always correct ;) Just by the fact I don't reason with your logic doesn't mean it's flawed. But if you want to break it down: 7/10 for the 99, 2/10 for the showability.
  20. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah good one. I'm very sorry for you.. but it's my opinion, so you can't challenge that. I can name a few.I still enjoy old NightWish and Epica. Nightwish is still my most played band :) If that's your opinion, fine, but gtfo this topic then.
  21. Sorry, but we're not living in the seventies anymore. You're wrong.
  22. I'm actually with you, I sort of posted this in here as a joke to see what kind of response it would get. It's not really that special/unique at all, did take me over a year to get from 90-99 though :P Well seriously, that's fine. You can still be proud of it. Nothing bad about the 99. Don't get me wrong on that.
  23. Yeah it's people... in a game. You can't apply the whole "treat others how you would want to be treated" in a game. Well, you can, but come on. I'm honestly not going to comply with irl morals and ethics while I'm playing a game. I'll do whatever I please to do. If spot stealing was immoral and/or wrong, Jagex would have it made impossible. That's not the case. Spot stealing is fine. Sure, a mutual agreement that both parties won't steal might benefit, but you can't confine spot stealers with morals and ethics. That's just not right in a game setting. It's all play. Applying real life on it makes it a bit scary.
