  1. Myspace appears to be the thing for the "cool" middle-schoolers, Facebook seems like it's for more mature high schoolers and college students. I plan on getting one soon, never getting a Myspace though...My sister has a Facebook, and I've seen some of the functions. Looks pretty cool.

Hm, Mac, that reminds me, I should probably go back at get 100% on SSE. You don't get anything do you? Other than the satisfaction of completing it... And I nearly beat Boss Battles of Hard and Very Hard, with Dedede and Charizard respectively. I managed to survive the RRoD on Very Hard once... : Also, is it just me or is it really annoying how the hearts are on the other side of the teleporting thingy...? Dedede has five jumps, and Charizard can glide, so it's kind of easy to get over, but I imagine it could be kind of hard for some characters...And mistakes happen, I once accidentally dropped into the portal at 130%...
  3. When I was 6, I was playing soccer with some neighbors in my backyard, and I ran straight into some roses. And of course the thorns. Ow. Apparently when I was 2, I went to a beach in Singapore and ate a bunch of sand. I fell off a tricycle when I was 5. When I moved from Taiwan to Massachusetts (Almost 4), I carried a pretty big toy airplane with me. It had removable parts. I lost the tail in Newark. I cried. When I lived in Taiwan, I would role-play, not with stuffed animals, but with toy cars. When I was 5 (In kindergarten), I took a poo at school and forgot to wipe...Then some more came out later...And I wasn't in the bathroom at the time... #-o I fell down stairs numerous times, never got a concussion though. Just had to put an ice pack on my head for a while, and I was fine.
  4. Unless there's some disclaimer in tiny print somewhere, I'd say as much as you want. It is free...

27 Dresses? The hints help, a bit of research can probably get it.

Both of you sound pretty similar to me, at least when it comes to this. My family isn't extremely wealthy either, especially compared to some of the people that live in my city. However, I've gotten plenty of things I haven't really needed...Only because I wanted them. My parents rarely say "no", so either they spoil me or I'm good at asking for things. I'd go with the first one. And I normally try to work off something I get, other than presents for Christmas/my birthday. For example, I did an extra amount of chores after I got my Wii. But yeah, there are people who act spoiled at my school, and I'm pretty sure they are spoiled. I don't think I act anything like them...They're the popular ones who wear "nice" clothes, have a bunch of unnecessary things, and basically act like jerks. I'm the somewhat unpopular geek who sits in the corner, with my T-shirt and calculator. 8-) Edit: I forgot to note, we all act spoiled sometimes. It's natural that when we get something, we want to show it off...

I thought Caxis fixed it, the correct one is in my sig. And thanks for the advice, maybe I'll make her do SSE and she can find a character she likes through that.
  8. I'm setting up my new laptop, it's pretty nice...I think it can run Age of Conan... : (Now I just need the money...)
  9. On the "fear of dogs" thing, I have no idea why I'm afraid of them. Dogs used to be my favorite animal, but I don't know...I think my mom got bit by one...But I'm pretty sure I was afraid of them before that...And for some reason, dogs always tend to follow me. Maybe they smell my fear, like someone said. But really, once there was a huge black dog outside my school during dismissal...800+ people piled out of it at once, and the dog just happened to follow me...(I went my own way, no one else walked that way) So yea, I stiffen whenever I see a dog. I try to avoid walking near them, but if I have to I'll be as far away as possible...Now that I think of it, it's one of my bigger fears... :wall: As for "fear of glitter", like I said, it stems from the hate. I hate glitter, mainly because it's so hard to get off. So uh...I guess it's more of the fear of things sticking to me, but I'm not that "afraid" of glue. And I'm somewhat surprised I'm not claustrophobic...
  10. Heh. Lenin scared of ducks. Never thought he would have a weakness... I have way too many fears, and some of them are quite abnormal so I doubt there are official terms for them. And I can't be bothered to check up official names, and I don't want to make people look up what I'm afraid of...So... -Fear of death. Some people say it's irrational, some people find it perfectly normal. Most of my fears come down to the fear to death, so I'd say it's my biggest fear. -Fear of bugs. In general. Just can't stand them. -Fear of fire. Not a pyromaniac... -Fear of vehicular accidents. Car crashes, hijacked airplanes, train bombings, crashes in general. -Fear of heights/falling. I remember reading something about it actually being the fear of falling that most people have, rather than the fear of heights. I don't really know which one I have, maybe both. -Fear of sickness/disease. Need I explain? -Fear of dogs. One of the weirdest ones I have... :? -Fear of glitter. I've gotten over it a bit, and I guess it's more of a hate. :| -Fear of loss. Of anything, anyone... ...And the list goes on. I'm pretty paranoid...

Ginger, nice! What difficulty did you do it on? (Two of my friends beat SSE on Intense in 8 straight hours... -.- ) Anyway, I need to practice more 1v1s, if I even want a chance of winning one match. (Game?) The only person I can ever find to play me (In real life) is my sister, and she sucks...If I play my friends, it's nearly always FFA. So that leaves you guys... ;) But yeah, I tried to teach my sister how to play, and if you think you suck, then just try playing her. I'm trying to get her to main Marth/Zelda, any other suggestions for really...Nooby people?

This is random, but whatever...Random is the way we go... I was playing Wifi today (Against anyone...Like usual) and I was bored so I decided to start using random characters. I got stuck with Ganondorf once, and I won with him...So I tried using him again, won again. I think I'm going to try using him once a while....Yay slow people. But it was Wifi, and the people I was playing really sucked. And if I say they sucked, they sucked. So I played again later, started my first match as Ganon. One of the people I was playing was using Dedede, and was really bad with him...I switched to Dedede for the second game, and I owned them. 6 kills...And 0 zero deaths. And on the topic of poor sports, I was fighting a Marth, Fox, and Ike today...As Falco...Marth and Fox ran off the side and started taunting and fooling around, and I joined them...On the other hand the Ike came over and smashed us all...Sure, maybe he wanted to actually fight, but he stuck around after that game...The next match was on Lylat Cruise, and I tried to do the Smash Taunt (I got it eventually) but Ike kept interrupting me...Don't think he had any sense of fun... :| Annnywayyyy...I think I've decided I'll enter in this tournament, for sure. Only a few people, so shouldn't be too bad. I may have to drop out though, depending on when it starts...

Most people would probably like Final Destination or Battlefield, so it probably wouldn't matter...The only one on their I would think of objecting to is Pirate Ship, cannonballs can really affect the game... I think I'll join this, I have nothing better to do. And it's not like I'll get any better if I don't...

I used to be like that, I didn't really mind though. Of course, once my eyesight dropped drastically, I found it to be a problem...But being me, I didn't stop. I still am kind of like that, just not with RuneScape. So...Try to find something you enjoy, other than RuneScape. I'm sure there's something. I still haven't really found mine yet, I enjoyed playing tennis with my friends for a while, but it got boring after it was a daily activity. I think I could like programming (Being a geek...), so I'll keep my eyes on this thread... Also, try to find more than one thing to do...Instead of playing RuneScape for 6 hours, you'll program for 3 and play for 3? What then...? Mix it up a bit, make it interesting...Hang out with friends one day (Though I understand how you feel about them living far away, I'm in the same position), program another, maybe play RuneScape for a day, do some jobs around the house, etc. Not only can this help you from another addiction (Which would basically defeat the purpose...), it can make things interesting, and maybe you can even find a few things that you like.
  15. Vanilla coke > Regular coke > Pepsi I guess it has something to do with Coke being a lot more common here, I don't see Pepsi that much.
  16. I'm sure scientists can prove how a man cannot simply spread water how The Bible describes it. ...Let's see the proof then. The Bible mainly uses circular reasoning, as in parts of it are possible only if other parts are possible. For example, the parting of waters is possible if God exists - But does God exist? Prove/disprove His existence...Good luck.

I think I've fought a few Europeans or Australians online, "against anyone." It was so much easier finding games than before...Guess the hype is kind of back... I still haven't gotten 100% on SSE yet... I'm at 97% I think...So yeah, you don't have to be at 100% to finish, don't worry.
  18. Honestly, to be blunt, anyone who doesn't believe in evolution is an idiot. Note that I'm saying evolution in general, not human evolution. And you can neither prove nor disprove the Bible...To be honest, no one can answer either "Where did God come from?" or "Where did the particles causing the Big Bang come from?" Sure, we can hold our beliefs that God has always been here, and atheists can create theories, but neither is conclusive. Killy, though I sort of agree with you, please find better arguments. People like you may give Christians a bad name. :| (Okay, that was a bit harsh....Don't take it too personally...)
  19. Meh, got my first e-mail when I was in first grade...It was Yahoo! I still remember when people actually used Yahoo! Messenger...And the inbox was tiny...Anyway, I switched to Gmail when it came out (I was the first in my school \ ) and use that one to this day. However, I still check the Yahoo! once in a while, and apparently they're copying Gmail now with integrating chat into the inbox. I still have a few friends that use Yahoo! though. I used Netscape for a while back then, I'm not really sure what happened to it. I didn't really get into gaming until a few years ago, so I'm not really sure what I did. I remember that I played mainly sports games, so I think I stuck around the EA Sports website and played the free games there, as well as being a member on those forums. I also played the games on the SI Kids website...And...The Nick Jr. Website. This was in the late 90s, not too long ago. Can't really remember what I did before I moved here...I remember being addicted to computers though. Edit: Woah wtf...I had no idea Mozilla came from Netscape... :-s
  20. I took this a while ago, got something around -3, -2. Not too surprised, I knew I was more Libertarian...Though what left and right exactly mean are still a mystery to me. Anyway, I just took the test again, barely southwest of the middle. Woot Ralph Nader... :|
  21. Agreed, though I'm not exactly the same religion as you, I don't like the idea of "Faith versus science", but rather "Faith and science." There is no scientific theory stating "There is no God", nor is there any passage in the Bible, or any other religious text, stating that "Science is rubbish." There is still no place where believing in God could be punishable with death. There are places where believing in a certain God is punishable with death, though there are no atheist countries where you can be killed for being religious. Faith =/= Christianity. Basically, the lesson learned from this - Don't stereotype. How clichéd.
  22. Math. Apparently one of, if not the, best in my grade at school (Out of ~500 people). Also math team captain of the fourth best in the state. : Memorizing. I have a pretty good memory...I once memorized the Periodic Table, and could easily get over a hundred of digits of Pi, if I focused on it (It's one of my goals this summer...). I also memorized the Preamble of the US Constitution in 10-15 minutes, while listening to my history teacher. Music. I guess. I've played piano since I was 5, and I've never practiced trumpet but I'm decent. Typing - I'm nearly always above 100 wpm, only when I'm distracted/thinking do I go below. Defense - Um. Yeah. Er...Maybe not in video games, but in real life, especially in sports. I can see strategies well, and stop them. Racing games - I don't know, I'm better at racing video games than anyone I know. Probably not better than everyone here, but still good...
  23. Removable wings. There. When you want to fly, you stick them on, when you don't, you take them off. Simple. I would still choose permanent wings over levitation though.
  24. And since atheists have higher IQs, that means they have smaller penises too! I wonder how many people he surveyed for this...I really doubt it was that many (Out of 6 billion), so it's probably not accurate. If he somehow manages to get a few million, maybe even 100 million or a billion people to do this, maybe we could learn something. Otherwise...I'm just going to call this rubbish and leave you guys to your religious debate.
  25. I hate/love tripping. I hate it against you guys on Wifi, or in things like Boss Battle where every second is crucial. A trip, and I might be dead. I love it because it fools my friends. They see me charging, and they shield, to block my attack. However, I trip instead of attacking, then attack as I get up, and their shield runs out. Not very reliable though... But yes, tripping sucks. Also, another thing I don't like about Brawl (But like about Melee) is the Target Tests. Sure, five levels is pretty cool, but I much preferred every character to have a different one, created to suit them. Like the Pikachu one in Melee relied on Thunder Jolt, Ness's on PK Thunder, Jigglypuff's on five jumps, etc.
