Everyone knows they are pixels. The complainers' point is probably that they don't want little kids to pick up the habit to be violent to animals from Rs.

If a nubcake complains and says he wants the game changed because of a particular problem, then tell him that he can't expect an entire game to change just because of him, and give him tips to solve his problem. Don't go "Omgzz you nub, get over it!" that is pointless, and offensive. Example: Bob: I want a free santa, because they are so impossible to get! Bad answer: Omg, you lazy noob. <-- You're actually talking exactly a nub, oh irony Good answer: You can't have a santa for free because that would not be fair to the people who worked hard to get it. The problem is, we don't know how long the people mentioned in the credits worked on the quest for. For instance, you could have a quest with 3 people named in the credits, and the three people each worked 200 hours. And then you could have another quest with 10 people in the credits, but they each worked 20 hours. So how can we know how much work was actually put on the quest? They said the quest took 2 years to create. But that doesn't prove anything unless we know how much people worked on it throughout its creation. For instance, they could have had one person working on it for 1 year and a haft, then towards the end, make 10 new people join that 1 person, and then say "11 people worked on it!" "It took 2 years". But that wouldn't mean the 11 people worked on it full time during those 2 years. See what I mean?

Not much to say about PC products anymore. Pure melee builds are a good way to start a character, as they shine in f2p. Defence does not convince me, at all. A lot of people would disagree with me, and tell me hearsay about how defence defeated the pure. I think defence is very useful in many situations. In melee combat, defence simply does not keep up with the other two. Let armour and food take care of your defence. As a character grows and becomes p2p, the pure build slowly becomes obsolete, but elements remain, such as low defence. It's only logical to max out strength and attack before maxing out defence. It's only logical to keep prayer at 70, or as low as possible without gaining levels, up until all three melee stats are maxed. It's only logical to have a high ranged level in order to have the best amount of hp possible. Intelligent leveling, that's what it is.

It doesn't make much sense, but that's why its a game.

All you focus on is people complaining, no doubt you'll get upset. :lol: I can't talk for other people, but I did that alot back in Rsc. I would give out iron sets to random low levels. I made some friends that way. Now the nubs just seem to bite the hand that feeds them. I gave around 10 low levels iron sets with a friend a few weeks ago, they all barely said thank you, and immediately asked for more. Me and my friend proceeded to explain to them that they needed to earn their money by themselves, but they ignored what we said and proceeded to spam our trade boxes. Face it, this is a real problem, it isn't in people's head. You should pay a visit to f2p or the rants before you declare it's all rubbish. Immature people are everywhere. If you can't deal with the complainers, of which you don't even need to read the threads of, then you've got a problem. Anyway, your whole thing is off-subject. Fact: Runescape has one of the most horrible mmorpg communities. Fact: This thread is about miniclip, if you're fed about complainers, go to the rants forum and "complain" :lol:

I don't know why immature people seem to fancy Rs a lot more than other mmorpgs, but Miniclip is part of the cause, no doubt about that. For those of you who were not there before Rs started their partnership with Miniclip, the community was already starting to deteriorate. Miniclip pretty much gave the death blow. Anyway, why is Runescape so attractive to annoying/immature individuals? Maybe that all those idiots are sane in the real world, but that for a reason or another they go nuts the moment they log in. It's true Rs is probably the easiest mmorpg to go nuts on. I don't buy that "they're just more noizy than the mature players" crap, those immature gits are everywhere, taking over Runescape.

It comes from Highlander: the series, a TV show I much enjoyed at the time I created my Rs character. The name "highlander" was taken, so I added an S at the end, which I felt balanced out the name and it looked like a little symbol: Highlander S.

I'm not sure if I answered to this topic yet. But definitively, I think it would help them a lot. I dont think members would be upset over such a small thing.

It's not because somebody does something wrong the first that it gives you the right to do something wrong. In a court of law, it doesn't matter who did did the wrong thing first. If somebody does something wrong, and than you retaliate by doing something wrong too, you will be charged aswell. Example: Your neighbour murders your wife. It does NOT give you the right to murder his wife in return.

1) How do you know Mourning's End part 2 took over 2 years of work to be created? 2) How big was the team that worked on it? If it was tiny, it would only prove that updates take a longer time when the team is smaller(duh..).

Indeed. Blocking words like "google" is pushing it way too far. It's ridiculous, this game just seems like it is set-up for 5 year olds.

So many people are immature/offensive/stupid nowadays in Runescape. I don't understand where this all comes from. All the other games I've played, the community was fine. What is causing Runescape to be plagued by people like that? Are people just going insane the moment they log in?

I think the hood is decent. It's a nice addition, but I was not Wow-ed. I liked some other choices better than this one, but oh well.

I agree with Aqui. The moment you criticize someone personally, and that it isn't constructive advice to help them, you cross the line that you shouldn't cross in a debate. It's very annoying when people do it.
