  1. Best place to sell is the Fletching guild. World 132 Yanille Bank if I am not mistaken. There are usually anywhere from 3-15 alchers there buying bows depending on the time of day.
  2. I am pretty sure just buying logs + strings.. make into Yew longs and sell gains cash as well. Haven't done the numbers in about 5 months but last I checked it was profit.
  3. At 94 range I use void pretty much religiously anywhere I go. The only place I use Karils (dhide whatever) is at Arma and Sara GWD. I would say once you hit 90 range you can use void generally everywhere. Before that it may be best to stick with Dragon Hides. As for when you can start using it, that's debatable I would say as soon as you can. It seems to be well worth it over dragon hides in most situations.
  4. Well I have read through the Tip.It guide on the Tarn's Lair Mini-game, and I am completely befuddled. I haven't the slightest clue where to start (I know where to start the mini-game) but after that I see maps and colored lines and I am completely lost. Can anyone explain this to me a bit better? or direct me in the direction of a less difficult guide or explanation.
  5. It is 15 hours from 100 to 0, only while IN combat. Always use an armor stand in your own or someone elses Player Owned House to repair your barrows armor to cut the costs immensely. If the armor is in your inventory or you are wearing it outside of combat (say wearing it while woodcutting) the 15 hour clock stops and it is just armor that you are wearing. It is not degrading though.
  6. Some people define useful in different ways.. Why not have a piece of RS history? You can always get one of those shields as a drop... so why burn cash on it (the reason I haven't bought a DFS) You cannot get a phat as a drop.. unless someone pops a cracker with you  (you have a better chance of getting 100 Elysian shield drops before this happens) No you don't. Elysian shield drop is impossible. Get some kind of spirit shield, they're all useful somehow, unlike partyhats. Oh I apologize Elysian Sigil drops... and yes you have a better chance of getting 100 Elysian shields before you could find someone who'd pop a cracker with you. And no Spirit shields are useless as well seeing as the DFS gives more defence bonuses (barring crush) and an added str bonus. "oh well the spirit shield gives a +5 prayer bonus.." Okay and your point is, Fally Shield 3 give +7 prayer bonus, doesn't mean it should be worth 128m... (just in case you try to say the +5 prayer makes it better than DFS) On top of that the DFS is useless in its own outside of monster hunting and dragon slaying as it is more efficient to use a Rune Defender. Thus making spirit shields even more useless. At least a Party hat will never come into the game again (aside from being popped from a cracker, which we have established is HIGHLY unlikely) Both Elysian shields and Phats are status symbols but Phats can only exit the game, more spirit shields come into the game every day. ...
  7. Well since we are all having interesting discussion.. What exactly is the most efficient way to go? I personally do this: Loot Chest up to 2nd best room. Search for snakes then loot chest in 2nd best room. Search for snakes + loot then loot chest then coffin in best room. Leave, Drop all non-gold artifacts and restart. I bank when I have about 10-15 artifacts (gold) I usually have some time to spare as well. Am I doing something wrong? Am I doing anything a less efficient way? I see people talking about not searching for snakes only looting or looting the coffins on the way to my best 2 rooms. Should I be banking after every trip?
  8. Maging Rex (Daggonath King, melee) seems like a pretty steady profit to me. I have 2 or 3 friends that are doing this ATM. Pulling at least an axe each trip I am sure they come to profit pretty nicely. As for defence.. I don't see why not to train it to 85. I mean 99 defence was my first 99 melee stat I got it at 90 att and 80 str. So my levels were a bit better than you but it wasn't the fastest experience to get. Mine as well get 85 def, I don't see any downside really.
  9. Some people define useful in different ways.. Why not have a piece of RS history? You can always get one of those shields as a drop... so why burn cash on it (the reason I haven't bought a DFS) You cannot get a phat as a drop.. unless someone pops a cracker with you  (you have a better chance of getting 100 Elysian shield drops before this happens) I am probably biased because I am looking to buy a Yellow phat myself (and a phat set after I max my RCin/do serious money hoarding) I would say to get a yellow, yes I am biased, but I just think that it looks the best. I have worn a red, it's pretty nice, white is nicer though. Blue is the "Bahama Momma" of all phats so if you really wanted to stand out save for that bad boy.
  10. None Kent, if you grind away at low defence monsters. (Which generally have low attack stats as well) Things like Rock Crabs, Yaks and Experiments. I did realize about the differences in exp though. That's kind of why I half-ssed it when I finished off my initial argument. Saying 90 all melees or 99 att etc etc. I never did the math 100% through so if someone did that I am sure it would clear up all the misconceptions. I am just not good with experimenting and mathematician..ing :P ..
  11. Am I doing something wrong? I find myself not running out of run energy at all and I am only 70 agility.. :-k
  12. Even if you started at level 85 you wouldn't have enough chins. It takes anywhere from about 50-60k chins from 85-99. I don't know the numbers with SC armor but I do know the time it takes to get is generally not worth the exp boost. This Guide is pretty old, almost 2 years now, but the information in it is still pretty solid. First off get your range to 85 doing traditional methods. Wasting chins at 74 range would be idiotic and in the long run cost you even more money and time. So first get 85 with a traditional method. Range yaks with knives + void and get 50k exp/hour. Once you hit 85 then start on your chinning journey. You still may have to buy 2-12k more chins but its more worth it than using them at 74 and having to buy an additional 10k+ for 99.
  13. Just keep it. Right now all rares have hit a slump, especially phats. You are not the only person who bought rares with the thought they'd rise then when GE was released watched as the prices plummeted for whatever reason. Just keep it consider it an un-tradeable holiday item and enjoy the fact that you hold a piece of history. I mean obviously you don't absolutely 100% need the money so just accept the loss, keep your "prize" and move on making money with other methods and training your skills. Whatever it is you do to enjoy this game.
  14. Well so far I am yet to run out of run energy.. hell I haven't even gotten half way down out of energy. So I think the bunyip is working for me ATM. The only thing I can really see myself spending money on is Super Anti pots.
  15. In short.. Yes. That and the fact that the trees are a little easier to access more than 2 (meaning they are placed better) However Barb Assault has become a very popular spot to WC now so it is slowly becoming just as crowded as Draynor. Unfortunately it is also becoming crowded with rude and inconsiderate people too. Like if there is already 3 people there, they will log in and stay there instead of logging out. Try to stick to worlds with 1600+ population but with at most 2 OTHER people (meaning you + 2 other people to equal 3 total) this will maximize your exp.
  16. Is a sceptre necessary? I usually just drop the non-gold stuff and bank at the bank accessed after Contact. (under the broken alter) Is the difference in exp really that noticeable with the banking via glory then going back w/ scepter. BTW my method is only loot the chests until 2nd highest room. Then search all urns (not loot) then search + loot the urns in my highest room.
  17. I prefer monks personally. I don't think they are that much slower in the gp/hour category either. But I do know that they will give more exp over the same amount of time. I think the drop in gp/hour is made up for with the gain in exp. Maybe that's irrelevant to the question you are asking though. I don't know, just throwing that out there though.
  18. Hello all, Well my current goal will be 80 (well I guess 81) thieving to get me started on my final goal of 99. Currently I am 64 and plan to do Pyramid Plunder until 81 (ultimately 99 lol) Well when I started to get ready for PP I didn't know where to begin. I know the basics of how to do PP, but it's been so long since I have been there I don't know what to do with all the new additions to the game and other possible ways to use PP. My questions are: [*:q36a7o3z]What do I bring? (Obv weight reducing gear, got that... I mean more like Pots, Food.. Bunyip??) [*:q36a7o3z]If I do bring a Bunyip, which I heard is good, would I even need food? [*:q36a7o3z]Is there a PP world? [*:q36a7o3z]Are there any guides on PP specifically? I have seen thieving guides but I was wondering if there was one specifically on Pyramid Plunder. Let me say... NO I WILL NOT BLACKJACK I gave it a go for a bit and it is simply to much clicking for my tastes.. I am willing to gain less exp/hour at the expense of my personal health. Please no spam... simply answer my questions. Anything other than answers will get reported. If you have read through my post and cannot conjure (that means to create) an answer to any of the questions, simply click the back arrow.
  19. It will help lessen the amount of prayer pots you actually use in the end. By how much I am not sure but I can tell you I never regretted dropping 19m on 85 prayer. And I plan on dropping the rest of my money on 99. Just a great skill to have maxed. If you have the money for both prayer and chinning then most definitely go with prayer first. That's hands down.
  20. I always say go with the best slayer master you can use. Unfortunately since now you can get 100 combat with like level 85 f2p.. it kind of makes it harder to say that since you technically wouldn't be able to use Duradel pre-summoning update. Summoning is a part of the game now though so.. However, you my friend seem to be 100 f2p combat which goes hand in hand with my suggestion. Use the best master you can. So go right ahead and use Duradel. Enjoy it and don't get down on yourself when you are staring at harder tasks. Most people see a task of 70 irons and get disappointed and run back to Chelador (fairy lady).
  21. Don't use any butler other than the Regular one. (Demon butlers are a waste) It costs 5k (or 7k) every 5 or so runs. Its simple really. Bring a Cashpile (I just brought a random cashpile that was more than I was sure I would need.) Noted oak Planks. Saw + Hammer and fill the rest of your invent with unnoted planks. As soon as you get in send your butler to unnote the planks then begin building and removing larders. By the time you finish removing the second (or third, don't remember how many it was per invent) larder your butler should be returned and waiting behind you. Talk to him to retrieve your unnoted planks then resend him to unnote more. Repeat the building and removing process. Repeat the plank retrieving and unnoting process.
  22. Snaps are number one Toadflax are number two Ranarrs are number three I would go with toadflax even if you could plant snaps. They give the best profit percentage and are only a little bit less gp/harvest.
  23. What does your questcape say? That you can follow directions? It's not really puzzle solving or strategy when you have a guide. Now you say you have done 75% of them without a guide, well kudos to you, however you have no way of proving that. And obviously since you stated that little tidbit of info its important to you and you like others to know that about you. However you still have no way to prove it other than going by what you said. There is no way to "fake" 500,000 clicks for 99 prayer or the 1,000,000 clicks for 99 rc (just entire guesses, but I would assume not to far off) I think having patience is more of a skill than following directions. Just my opinion.
  24. You could do: Wooden Bookcases until level 29. At level 29 do Oak Bookcases until you hit 33. At level 33 do Oak Larder until level 74. At level 74 do Oak Dungeon Doors until level 99. That's pretty much the layout for 99 con lol. Even though you asked up to 34..
