Oh hi! I'm Itstruikou, I know my TIF name is xgreenenvyx but that doesn't matter. I have a few goals in RS, but I never have motivation to achieve them so I decided that maybe with a blog I'll be able to accomplish my goals(and get Toast to leave me alone about making a blog :XD:). Well I guess I should at least start you off with some stats eh? Starting Stats(7/4/07) Goals Start/Current/Goal [hide=Combat-Related Goals] Attack 73/74/90 How I Will Accomplish: I'll accomplish this through slayer mostly and get a tiny amount of XP from things like killing the giant mole for birds nests. Defense 71/71/90 How I Will Accomplish: *See Attack* Strength 76/76/80 How I Will Accomplish: *See Defense/Attack* Magic 71/72/99 How I Will Accomplish: Mostly through alching yew longs I make and some xp from barrows. Range 74/74/99 How I Will Accomplish: I'll train it a lot with slayer and also from ranging blue dragons and fire giants when I feel like it. Slayer 60/60/85 How I Will Accomplish: Duh. -.- Prayer Debating whether I'm going to train this higher than 52 or not. May max it out around 70. Not sure yet. Agility 60/60/70 How I Will Accomplish: Wilderness course. :twisted: Thieving 55/55/99? How I Will Accomplish: Pyramid Plunder because it's teh fun. Herblore 50/50/70 How I Will Accomplish: Mostly making just p pots/super attacks until I can make super strengths. Then Super Defense pots, then a combination of p pots/super sets until I get there. Farming 44/46/70 How I Will Accomplish: -.- x2 Crafting 58/58/80 How I Will Accomplish: Haven't decided if I'm going to use the battlestave or green dhide method yet. Either way I'll be alching the products. Mining 54/54/70 How I Will Accomplish: Coal trucks until Mining Guild. Then Guild from there on. Smithing 50/50/70 How I Will Accomplish: Gold bar method is a bit expensive to me unless I mine my own gold. I'll probably do Dwarf Cannon Quest and go with the cannonball method. Fishing 66/66/80 How I Will Accomplish: Lobster fishing in Catherby/Fishing Guild. Cooking 68/68/99 How I Will Accomplish: Cooking all the lobsters I fish and then when I have the cash buying the raw lobs for 99. Woodcutting 71/72/80 How I Will Accomplish: Cutting yews for fletching. Firemaking 54/60/75 How I Will Accomplish: I already have the logs banked for 75. I may go for 99 in the future. Well first I plant my herbs(and other crops for the extra farming xp), then I get to work on chopping yews, making nats, or buying bowstrings. Then I start on making yew longs(occasionally planting a new herb, always ranarr or irit). Then I alch all my yew longs that I've made for a good healthy profit. When the alching is done I take all the herbs I've farmed and make them into p pots (to use for barrowing or sell for some quick cash) and super atts for use in slayer and other combat related activities. 8-) So to be honest my method is pretty safe being as even if you remove the potion making from the equation I'll always make a profit fletching/alching(unless BS prices shoot through the roof) because I'm not selling my stuff to anyone.

Giant moling w/ you is fun. I think I'll wait until around 75 mage before I try iron/steel drags though..

It's all personal preference. I for one am in a middle ground, I don't love them, yet I don't hate them. I could really care less.

That happened to me at cwars yesterday... :x I got 71 mage while ancienting so I said, "Yay finally 71 mage!" and someone goes, "Grats noob I'm 84." - Yeah thanks. -.-

Well if you aren't planning on seriously using the effect(i.e. for things like strength training ect) then I see it as a waste of 1800k. Better to use it on something like pots or maybe invest it in a skill or two.

Well yeah there are the level boosts you can use but I found it much less of a hassle to just get the required level(42).

I haven't even tried yet after the update.

Very good read. I laughed out loud about the "wishing one of the variables would disappear in algebra" thing, because I feel like that a lot. But back on topic, this article has a lot of truth behind it. I know to the other person it always seems, oh it's just a game it's not that bad, but then again you have to think about the person who's lost the time and effort that they put in to get those items.

Haha I think you got pretty lucky. Took me two days to get my rune defender, but after the first rune one they started dropping like crazy until I had like 10 extra.

I've never really thought about doing this but I think I'll try that Runemonkey thing.

126s would win no doubt. They can one hit all the level 3s while the level 3s only hit 1s, and they'd be hitting very rarely on 99 defense.

I don't think there's a designated world for Barrowers but I'm pretty sure you can find someone on most worlds.

+1 IMO, I think it really just depends on the update. The POHs weren't really pre-warned right before they came out but there were plenty of little hints about them. But with things such as the Dark Bows and Dragon Arrows you saw a lot of people who started training Slayer and Hunting like there was no tomorrow. And I don't doubt that Jagex picked up more than a few members from that.
