Hahaha As in, the Spirit of Ramadan is a great thing. :D If you want a real mental test, try fasting for 4 to 7 days in an army bootcamp (with only water). It was one option in the "endurance tests" selection, I got to day 4 and I was literally exhausted. I had to refuse to do anything but have a loaf of bread and some soup. But then again, deep in my mind I remember you're very young. I did this when I was 19, and it was voluntary. We were rewarded with free days off duty and unhealthy (tasty) food though. Don't even think about it if you're under 16.

I'm pretty sure that Islamic fasting in Ramadam is no food or water during the day. For me I'd like to fast without food, (with water though) from 8am to 5 pm. Would be a big achievement for me. :

Well I think it most likely you exercise in velcro- trainers. This is probably the cause if you do; running and feet-strain without laced shoes is bad for the bones and often leads to muscle strain and aching bones. Don't blame me if none of the above is true. But my netball techer said she wouldn't let me play in velcro... and I assume she knows what she's doing.

RESPECT all. Respect keeps the world turning round! (in a metaphorical sense, of course) And yeah... I'd LOVE to try fasting. I'm very strong physically but psychologically I don't think so lol. So just drink water? I think it would be really good for me, test my strength, train my willpower. But I think my mum might worry... :-k

So, can we blame their crap music on the studio? You think Kasabian and the Kaisers are crappy Bubs? That'd disappoint me Yeah, I do. The Kaisers are just a Clash tribute band and Kasabian don't know what the hell kind of music they're aiming for. I haven't heard of Clash, I've heard of Kasabian but none of their music. I used to like the Kaiser Chiefs, but in the last few months they've just been really boring. :(

Hiya all, Recently my dad told me about the studios called the Strongroom. I looked it up on the web, and apparently it's famous for it's... Decoration. Nope, not joking. Visit this site, have a look around. http://www.strongroom.com/ Go to 'More- site news' (mid-left of screen) then click 'quick access,' (Top right corner) and select SR 1/2/3/4/5. Click on the 'VR View,' button and click the new window to look around the room. Wow, I think these studios are amazing. To combine great technical ability with such snazzy surroundings (except sr 5, which I really don't like is really fantastic! It's really important for a room to fit it's purpose, don't you think? Also the Kooks recorded 'Inside In/Inside Out,' at the Strongroom. Kasier Chiefs, Sugarbabes, Will Young, Kasabian, and Ian Brown are just a few of the Strongroom's users. :thumbsup: Which is your favourite room? Like the decorations? Think it's a waste of time and money? Does the decor encourage psychological ideas? Discuss. Lol.

Come to think of it; I might just change my mind. I'd get married, (if and when) and just adopt. Think of all those poor kids out there who need parents, need love, need a stable life to help them grow up. I'd be more than willing to help them, as I'm not so keen to get pregnant myself. And to be honest I think it would be a great honour to adopt someone's else (who couldn't look after them, probably) child. But then again if I did adopt I would definitely not have any children of my own. I think it'd cause jealousy and such... :( However I would bring the children up telling them I wasn't their mother. I think it would be terrible to suddenly find out your 'parents' aren't who they say they are...but I'm probably wrong... :(

This isn't exactly drawing, but it's fantastic art. You said you wanted to be a designer? What kind? Paintings, clothes, artitechure? Well anyway, I got some fantastic ideas for my own art from this site. Just have a look at the pictures, go on the VR tour (virtual reality) on which you can swivel around...et cetera... enjoy. I know it's not drawing but it may help get the ideas flowing. http://www.strongroom.com/ Go to 'Quick Access,' at the top right corner, select SR 1/2/3/4/5, and enjoy lol. And try and start with basic shapes; everythingyou see, everything you draw, is just a shape. No, honestly. True. But you need to learn to put these shapes in the right places. For instance, let's say you were drawing a person. You should start with a slightly elongated square. Round off the sides, forming an oval. Then draw lines across the page, where the ears, eyes, nose, and mouth go. The eyes can start as ovals and gradually evolve into eyes. The mouth can be an oval too. It'll look very crude, but keep working with it. Well good luck with whatever you choose to do! :thumbsup: Issy.

Oh man what a question. Well, I'm only 12 ya know, I haven't really thought about it that much... I've always liked to be Free. I hate people making solid plans for me because it leaves me so...tied-up. Still if found a guy who I'd thought would be a good husband, and I knew I wouldn't get bored of them (lol) and they would be a good father, then yar. Go for it. Yeah and suppose having kids would be really fun...(some bits anyway.) (I wouldn't want more than 3 kids....absolute max...but not one. Either 2 or 3) But I'd always like to have somewhere for them to 'go', like, a granny or something nearby who could look after them. I'd hate to be hampered down by kids all the time...especially with someone I love... :thumbsup: :wink:
