So now german, then...?

The one that says "ik ben" or "ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja " all the time, is that dutch? Kinda annoying when they don't speak the native language of the server, and continuously say "ja ja ja ja".

But Dutch people are usualy very good at English anyway so it probably wouldn't be that high on their list.

Your wrong, runescape is a childgame, my litle brother plays it, and i always have to translate it for him , really annoying.

35% of the rs players are dutch.

Sorry to say, but thats pretty much makes no sense at all.

First, Runescape isn't a childgame. Do you know you have to be over 13 to play the game?

Second stays still the fact that because Dutch is quite related to English as language, English is relatively easy for most Dutchies.

Third: I have no clue where you base that 35% on. As far as I know it is far less. A quick guess says about 5% max.

That's German :P

I would guess Dutch, because so many other people say Dutch, and because it looks rather likely.

I would like Cantonese, then my parents can't say I ain't learning anything from playing =;

What's lao-shan lung in cantonese?

I think they will be realising Mandarin Chinese as that it more widely used (pity I don't play anymore, it would help my studies too althought I don't need to know what monkfish is in chinese for exams)

I don't think Jagex will do another language, considering the German servers have been mainly unsuccessful.

I'd like to see you find 1 update that 100% of people liked :? . There will always be something to complain about so I think they will. (And I'm hoping for french (will probably be one of those Russia/northern european languages :-X .))

I know I'm a friend of yours but I have to disagree heavily. This has been released to the public for merely a week and you are already calling it a failure. To be honest, if RuneScape advertise, ALOT of German people will start playing. In around 3 months, German people will have heard of this and more and more will play because they don't have to translate everything and they can talk to people who use the same language as them.

dutch is coming next i think

The reason they didn't make a dutch server is because all dutch kids that go to school are expected to be able to speak fluent English at the age of 10-12. They want to advertise to a wider variety of people and not just help the ones already playing.

Also, dutch is similar to German. Ich, Ik....Hai, Haai...etc.

You know that 95% of them speak English right? Jagex isn't going to worry about a mere 7% of Dutch players that don't speak English.

How about mini193inish. Several people know the language originally from the suberbs to Lumbridge. It is a very simple landguage, consisting of phrases such as

meh

...

they are serveal common phrases of the mini193inish. Please consult the mini193inish expert, mini193, for more details.

MarkNoZeros.png

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.

Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,

that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.

So we shall flow a river forth to Thee,

and teeming with souls shall it ever be.

In nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti.
