bloodkilla87
Pretty much all the clicking skills have an 'x' function. Crafting, smithing, cooking, fletching, construction, making the only real skill left without 'x' is firemaking. Do you think they will ever introduce it? Would it make firemaking too easy? What got me thinking about this, i was going to get my firemaking from 70-75 but after about 150 logs, my eyes starting getting sore from looking at the tinder box, to the log, tinderbox, log /repeat. unkn0wnwarrior
It could happen, although it would be a little different from the others. It can take anywhere from 2 seconds to 20 seconds (or more) to light one log, whereas with crafting, smithing and cooking (can't say about the members skills) don't have such a difference in times. NJE03
Iv'e seen quite a few post in past few days talking about things like this and have said in all of them that I think this would ruin firemake and make it too easy, similar to cook-x. If burn-x was released, 10,000+ people probably go get 99 firemake. Besides, in my opinion it's already one of the easier skills, It is very fast exp as it is. jemathonical
I would love for this to happen! Imagine how easy levelling would be? Easier than cooking. Thats probably why it won't happen ^Sir Jem 05-The Bunny Drinking Blog?^ Click it!
Silentsurf
I don't firemaking would get the light X option. If you had different types of logs in your inventory, the right click option for a willow log would have to be... Light Willow logs Light 5 Willow Logs Light 10 Willow logs Light X WIllow logs Light all willow logs Examine willow logs Cancel And your character might get stuck in the trees and walls during lighting 27 logs... :-k I don't think Jagex will add this... but it'd be really good if they did. That might stop autoers though. Cause if you get stuck, its not like you can light more fires on top of each other.
-Devoted12-
If Jagex does this I am seriously going to be outraged. Firemaking is my favorite skill, they don't need to go out and ruin it.

Scars
It seems very unlikely that Firemaking would get a burn/light X option. Firemaking is already quick Xp, so I doubt they would introduce this option. But, you never know with Jagex. :-w Thanks to WithTheQuickness for the sig! pansynator
It's unlikely. It'll be to damn easy to get 99 that way. ---Do not ask God for an easy life. SwreeTak
I don't think firemaking will ever get a "x" function. I think so because there are way to many problems which need to be solved before you could put in a "x" function in it. For example; what if you put in that you want to do 5 fires, but after 2 fires crocks with a tree? Also it takes a diffrent period of time to light a fire, sometimes 1 second and sometimes 10 seconds. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak

mindstormer398
Besides the fact that that would ruin the game, it won't happen because fm is already pretty easy. la la la
Sadly, CRAFTING does not have an "x" function. The most you can make in one click is 10. Even though it is still good, it is kind of frustrating, as crafting is very similar to fletching, and that got an x function. Edit: the same goes with smithing. Dalcyte
no, because then its virtually autoing With cooking and fletching, you automatically do it, but its not autoing in a way...hard to describe. With fming, you're character would move without you telling it to necessarly...gah, its hard to explain, and i'm not doing it justice. but simply put, no. Click for mah Blog!- I'm not sure why you would though because i never update it Achieved 99 Thieving 3/10/07-992nd to it

SirHartlar
I hope it doesn't happen, firemaking is one of the only skills left where you actually have to pay attention to what you are doing ALL the time.
