March 14, 200719 yr drugs Don't worry, you'll be funny eventually. too bad i wasnt trying to be funny. goob job looking dumb. Oh, interesting. So, that inappropriate, nonsensical remark was intended to be completely serious? I could have assumed you were trying to just look like a moron but I figured I'd cut you some slack and assume you think that you're funny. But, since you said you weren't trying to be funny I guess that leaves us with the fact that you're just a moron. Well, "goob" job to you too, then. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.
March 14, 200719 yr the one thing i thinrunescape needs is mounts.stuff like chocobos ,wolves, tigers, horses, stuff like that. probably to add on to the hunter skill. <("<)<(")>(>")>chocobo
March 14, 200719 yr Author Well, one thing I noticed that DOES lack about Runescape is animals, the friendly kind. It appears the area and enviroment is always infested with monsters around every turn, but never animals. ~Defender~ If you love me, send me a PM. 8 - Love me2 - Hate me
March 14, 200719 yr First post :D Reading thru the ideas and there r sum real gud ones like how the game could b more co-operative and team based. Everyone knows that there are rs clans out there, but they're all formed out of rs. So in game clans that r controlled by the game would b a huge benefit if the game was to move to a more co-operative type of game. Plus it would encourage clan development and peaople actually wanting to join a clan.
March 14, 200719 yr Off topic: Good you left Zybez for Tip.it ;) On Topic: For starters I would love to see multi combat zone everywhere! (But not during quest monsters, and places such as fighting barrow brothers) Then I would upgrade lunar spells to actually help people, not only share with people. The healing spell for example is useless. What you do is take life from yourself to give to others. Hence your team is not strengthen at all. I would make it so you actually can heal people, without loosing hp yourself. If this mean the spell cast time would be increased, so be it. (Yes it would be a drastic change to the game play, but it is much needed for the sake of team play and fun) Then now as you actually can work as a team, its time to bring in stronger monsters, and larger dungeons. But not like the dungeons we have to day, were the first monsters are low level, and in the inner places there are higher monsters. But INTERACTIVE dungeons. Were passages and ways change over time. Chests with random loot only opened by certant keys (the keys break after using em). The keys do not respawn in the same place, but changes respawn location in the dungeon. More things in the dungeon, such as a furnace, ores, spinning wheels, fountains(other water source) for making pots in the dungeon without leaving. Fishing spots, Hunting spots, etc. Today it seems that if its a dungeon, the only thing in it must be monster, and nothing else. Why dont make a multi interactive dungeon with lots of things to do? Edit: Lets say this dungeon is faaaar away from bank so you cant relay on running back and forth, as it would take too much time. Try imagine the following senario in Ardougne. Player1: Good level 97 and 110 looking for high level Fisher/cook for dungeon venturing! If you ask me that would be a lot more fun than simply only rely on people with high combat when you want to kill strong beasts. 21 lag piles, 4 Pjs, 2 Party hat kills, 67 newbs teached.
March 14, 200719 yr Well, one thing I noticed that DOES lack about Runescape is animals, the friendly kind. It appears the area and enviroment is always infested with monsters around every turn, but never animals. ~Defender~ There are some squirrels and raccoons running around by Falador. Swans in the lakes, and seagulls, puffins, etc. I'm sure they'll add more, just give them time. Jack of all trades, master of thieving. 259th to 99 thieving. All stats 75+
March 14, 200719 yr You know what runescape needs? The ability to form teams. I mean, the closest thing to teams that we have is BA, and even then it's barely what I'd call a team. The fact that this game is a MMORPG and yet we can't form an official group to kill stuff is pretty funny. drugs Don't worry, you'll be funny eventually. :XD: Maturity is easily what is most lacking in this game."All nonmembers are getting a passive boost to their maturity levels." :-$ drugs Don't worry, you'll be funny eventually. too bad i wasnt trying to be funny. goob job looking dumb.So you seriously think that runescape needs drugs in order to further itself? Hurry up and release that maturity update, Jagex! :-w :^_^: I drew that smilie, btw, along with a few more used by this site.Classic bloodveld for lyph3! Although I do like the new ones.Like a ninja, here I was, gone I am now.BUT! I may be back! Add my new account, Dr Bloodveld!

March 14, 200719 yr everything!everything in runescape has room for improvement its just a matter of time before we notice the huge change all those little weekly updates have contributed to the game.
March 14, 200719 yr I actually LOVE your idea for the changing the area with magic. This could challenge people to get more involved, using the spells together killing monsters to get more xp, or kill with less food used. Honestly, if i could have your permission, i would like to make a suggestion on the RSOF. If you say yes, tell me if you want your name in it or not :D BUT What this can lead to, is group parties, group/guild/clan chat systems, and who knows what else. ^^Click For Monster Hunting Blog (180M+ in drops)^^
March 14, 200719 yr I really like your idea of the multiple mage effect on the landscape... I haven't heard of that before. As hard as it is to not focus on other immediate fixes they need (ahem: banking, friends list, chat/trade, etc.), I think expansions should focus on quality updates that add to the core of the game (barrows was an amazing update...). Since then (and somewhat before barrows) the updates: skill/quest/minigame have all been mediocre at best. Immediate add ons: NONE. Improve what you have Jagex! Longer Term: Improve graphics (even if this means changing over to downloaded content). No quest, skill, or item ever made me play Runescape. It's the gameplay and community that kept me playing. Jagex should realize that their steadfast refusal to embrace the RS community (world-switchers... good grief!) is going to ruin them more than they know. Gameplay and community only last so long before they need an infusion of energy or development. These last two jagex seems to be completely missing the boat on as of late. I dont agree with highlighted bit cos this would pave the way for more ways to hack accounts...like fake popups saying it is the latest rs update but in actual fact is a keylogger hell bent on stealing your account... No thanks :notalk: =; It isn't in the castle, It isn't in the mist, It's a calling of the waters, As they break to show, The new Black Death, With reactors aglow, Do you think your security, Can keep you in purity, You will not shake us off above or belowScottish frictionScottish fiction
March 14, 200719 yr I'd like for at least one aspect of the game to require more intelligience than that of a chipmunk. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

Still, this game needs to take it up about 10 notches graphically and in its gameplay to last as an MMORPG over the long term. (And "updating" the skins on the same dumb monsters really doesn't impress me that much.) Also, interacting with a monster a tad more than just the "Attack, Examine, Walk Here" would be nice too... Perhaps make those emotes actually do something would be cool. E.G. "Scared" emote boosts the monsters str, but lowers their def. Don't worry about the details of my example, just anything would be nice to expand the actual gameplay other than updates around the margins... which too often appear to be stupid quests/minigames. RSN: Greedom1 | QP 248+ | Combat 116 | Total 1920+ | Skills 95 craft, 99 farm, 88 herb, 91 mage, 85 slayer Values? What do they mean?
March 15, 200719 yr Anyway... What really is lacking in runescape is the graphics... Obviously. Althought I am happy with the current graphics, I can see how it would help getting new players. But yes, this game is already made to the limits of Java programming (not that I know anything about java...) I do both agre and disagree, a little better detail would be nice. But not like (ie Silkroad). That's beacuse these "plain" graphics is just the thing that makes Runescape special
March 15, 200719 yr Weapon effects. Comeon, Jagex..where is my +2 D scimmy? or a Abby Whip with a burn effect that damages 5% of health every 2 seconds for 30 seconds? We need effects like this. These weapons could be VERY rare drops, and are UNTRADEABLE.
March 15, 200719 yr I could care less about graphics..Jagex has it available in your browser window, meaning you don't have to spend $40 to buy it and then an hour to download it..

Staight from elder scrolls series and probably loads of others, but it is a very good idea, i'm not sure why they would be untradeable though.
March 15, 200719 yr I think that RuneScape needs more then just clicking and watching. Like maybe choosing where you hit the other player in combat. Doomy edit: I like sheep
March 15, 200719 yr This game lacks bank space for both f2p and member.(I think f2p should have more space in their banks(and people going:but they want people to become member! crap I will only ignore, because jagex has alot of extra money, and can't even give non members a little more bank space?(well atleast members and non members gets the same stuff or else it would be unfair.))) Give a man a lighter, and he will be warm for a while.Set a man on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life.
March 15, 200719 yr A better combat system. Class system + a range of attacks for each class. The idea would need to be modified a bit in order to fix into Runescape context though. 2480+ total
