Okay so will non wild to wild luring really stop?

 

 

 

I mean people could use level 3 accs as talkers and the people who are normally killers could go on luring and they cant be banned because they did nothing but kill the person being lured however they did not actually lure them and i mean whats the point of reporting the talker if its just a lvl 3 acc it wont make much of a difference.

Luring will not come to end. There is no doubt about it. First of all, when you are lured, you're gonna be getting hit fairly often be it ice barrage or by some monster. You won't have a chance to save your own hide let alone report the person attacking you.

Well it shows them what happened the last 60 seconds of gameplay for you so you could report after you get killed...although i doubt it would help but hidden cameras on the edge of wildy :XD: :lol:

Considering the fact of the trade/talk reporting flaw in JaGeX you can't report the person attacking you. The only way you can hope to do that is to right click them screen shot. Go to an image hoster. Send in a query to JaGeX and hope they get banned. :wink:

Eventually everything comes to an end. Believe it or not nothing lasts forever, just as luring won't last forever. It may take awhile, or it may not happen until we all leave this game, or even after it eventually dies out.

I can see Jagex eventually making some sort of "security stronghold" for the wilderness, just to help protect some that can't get it into their thick skulls to stay away from the wilderness with any items they're not willing to lose.

You know, back in the days of RSC, stuff like this never happened. Occaisioinally we'd see a mass ban and the occasional scammer be banned. Way back when you reported someone, Jagex would actrually send you a message whether or not they took action. Do you see that now? Naw it's all automated

lmao they should just build a giant gated fence on the edge of wild who would be dumb enough to go through the fence to trade. :P

you cant pass thru this fence without getting warning and your character stops, even if you are following someone, or auto following someone, as if to trade.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

do you really think that just because it's now against the rules it will stop? no. scamming is against the rules, but just yesterday i had someone attempt to scam me. i reported them, as usual, and went on playing. as long as you're halfway paying attention, it's not hard to aviod being scammed/lured

well, now that its a rule, im not sure it will continue, but iotem scamming is a rule, that still continues, even after stronghold of security, and drop trading, real life trading, it all exits...

Its fun following lures I always do after putting my stuff in the bank or scammers. It gives a break from the repetativeness of runescape.

I think it will. Jagex will like put a wall up where the border of wilderness is. You would have to click it, it would say "Do you want to go into the wilderness? You might die and lose your items."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Actually, that's a pretty good idea in itself.

no i went into some chat on irc and well it was called #lurers lol i think and its topic was luring may be banned but thats not going to stop us i got banned becuase i called them sad and stuff(stuff was not swearing lol)

The implementation of the rule will stop a good number of small, part-time lurers, but as for people who make their money from luring and do it a lot (the majority or lurers)...they'll easily find ways around the rule and will not stop.

Luring won't stop, just like scamming will never stop. People will always want to make money fast and easily, and luring and scamming are some pretty good ways...(no, I'm not saying that scamming or luring is good)
