Italian5kamikaze
Okay so will non wild to wild luring really stop? I mean people could use level 3 accs as talkers and the people who are normally killers could go on luring and they cant be banned because they did nothing but kill the person being lured however they did not actually lure them and i mean whats the point of reporting the talker if its just a lvl 3 acc it wont make much of a difference. I could probably go more in depth with this but i have to go soon and i just wanted to see what other people would think. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes. mrpez
Luring will not come to end. There is no doubt about it. First of all, when you are lured, you're gonna be getting hit fairly often be it ice barrage or by some monster. You won't have a chance to save your own hide let alone report the person attacking you. Unless of course Jagex implemented hidden cameras.

Bloodredsword
Luring will never stop Unless Jagex "breaks" the wildy (I think they should make pvp version of rs lol :P) post 2000 :D Listen to the mighty words of Bloodredsword. Blackarch2
It won't EVER end. Considering the fact of the trade/talk reporting flaw in JaGeX you can't report the person attacking you. The only way you can hope to do that is to right click them screen shot. Go to an image hoster. Send in a query to JaGeX and hope they get banned. Mmm... Mudkipz... Pkmastachaos
Eventually everything comes to an end. Believe it or not nothing lasts forever, just as luring won't last forever. It may take awhile, or it may not happen until we all leave this game, or even after it eventually dies out. But luring will come to an end. I can see Jagex eventually making some sort of "security stronghold" for the wilderness, just to help protect some that can't get it into their thick skulls to stay away from the wilderness with any items they're not willing to lose. However as long as there are people who are willing to take advantage of others, it will be around for some time to come.
Celt23
ALL rule-breaking can never be fully stopped. It's no different than the fact that RL crime can never be fully stopped.

Made0f12une
Kids these days... You know, back in the days of RSC, stuff like this never happened. Occaisioinally we'd see a mass ban and the occasional scammer be banned. Way back when you reported someone, Jagex would actrually send you a message whether or not they took action. Do you see that now? Naw it's all automated ^^ClicK^^"I backed my car into a cop car the other dayWell he just drove off sometimes life's ok...Alright already we'll all float onAlright don't worry we'll all float on" - Isaac BrockDays Hunting:4 - Kingly Imps Caught:2Money Earned: 4.5-5m
Makoto_the_Phoenix
For as long as money and greed exist; for as long as hatred and lust thrive; for as long as dark desires and corruption are known in this game, luring will forever continue. Let's just hope that those that DO practice this meet their justified end in this community. andylax38
lmao they should just build a giant gated fence on the edge of wild who would be dumb enough to go through the fence to trade. :P ~>~Check Out My Bursting Guide~<~Current goals - 99 Slayer, 99 Summoning, 85 DungeoneeringAchieved goals - Quest Cape, 99 Strength, 85 Slayer, 99 Range, 88 Summoning, 90 Slayer, 99 Magic, 99 Farming
ktmcf121
there is a fence on the edge of the wildy. every time you log on, the fence reappears. you cant pass thru this fence without getting warning and your character stops, even if you are following someone, or auto following someone, as if to trade. do you really think that just because it's now against the rules it will stop? no. scamming is against the rules, but just yesterday i had someone attempt to scam me. i reported them, as usual, and went on playing. as long as you're halfway paying attention, it's not hard to aviod being scammed/lured
p0wn4g3
well, now that its a rule, im not sure it will continue, but iotem scamming is a rule, that still continues, even after stronghold of security, and drop trading, real life trading, it all exits... 12pure34
scamming and swearing has been against the rules from the start Does this answer your question?
wildmanoneoneone
lol if your stupid enough to get lured into the wildy you deserve to die \ Its fun following lures I always do after putting my stuff in the bank or scammers. It gives a break from the repetativeness of runescape. Save the scammer/lurer!! We need some entertainment!
spikerkid
It will never end. To many people value pixels over peoples happeness. And when the day comes where everyone cares for one another is the day when hell will freeze over. Everyone is lazy to work for there own items so they have to lower their self respect to lure people in the wilderness. Which is just as bad as stealing in real life in my opinion. Quit RuneScape :)
hellbellz
Scamming is illegal, does it happen? Yes. It just proves luring will still happen.
Bludragon124
I think it will. Jagex will like put a wall up where the border of wilderness is. You would have to click it, it would say "Do you want to go into the wilderness? You might die and lose your items." Actually, that's a pretty good idea in itself. Noted raw mackerel drop... Wtfh? The_13th_Apostle
The implementation of the rule will stop a good number of small, part-time lurers, but as for people who make their money from luring and do it a lot (the majority or lurers)...they'll easily find ways around the rule and will not stop. ^Thanks Lil_Atza!I love the smell of napalm in the morning. ... timmyboy1234
Luring won't stop, just like scamming will never stop. People will always want to make money fast and easily, and luring and scamming are some pretty good ways...(no, I'm not saying that scamming or luring is good) You can add me if you want, my chat is almost always on =) Barrows guide...no prayer potions needed?1200/1400 cw tickets.
