I'm currently on a quest to get level 5 in everything, just so it'll be easier to get/replace items in the future. It should pay off in the long run.

 

 

 

It seems most of my goals are inspired by my friends..

For me it is not worth it. I do not do combat that much. Nor do I do CW that much.

 

And death = loss. No way to retrive it, except a lot of hard work!

 

I can understand why it is great, but is it worth the time and risk?

If you enjy playing BA ofcurse its worth it. f you dn't enjoy playig BA then no it sn't.

i got mine the second day of ba, and i still love it

 

if you have a good team that calls out immidiately your set in like 2 days for getting it

 

i just didn't put any points into anything except healer(level 3)

 

i dont think there is a real ppint into levelling anything else up... points you could be using for the torso/ anything else

 

i have the penance skirt and fighter torso :) and love them lol

Yeah, but I only use it during PC. For *real* combat, I use more defensive armour.

You should just try out BA, if you hate it I wouldn't bother getting one.

 

 

 

Only reason I have one is cause I tried BA, liked it, and so decided to get a torso for training slayer with.

took me 6 - 8 hours to get mine, very worth it. i notice i hit better with it on aswell.

umm, i thikn that the torso should be a little better, i mean for getting hella points per roll and all for a lousy defense bonus and a +4 strength, maybe if they cane out with fighter legs and made them all a little better, then it would be kool and worth it :thumbsup:

It's worth it. It's Slash defense is actually better than the Rune Plate as well.

Ditto on what Lep said. If you're pking, and your opponent is with a whip, you're better off with Torso then the rune plate, because it's got more slash defense. But for Slayer, no. I stick with my Guthan's.

i would defently think its worth it, i mean with a good team it only takes like one day to get and for the extra slash and strengh bonus, well worth it

Well, its definitly much more useful than rune plate, but not worth the effort.

 

 

 

I'm pretty sure people get it mainly for the str bonus. after all, its elementary that if you can hit harder and kill your opponent faster than he can kill you, then your def bonus doesn't matter as much. I mean, if you can hit hard constantly and defeat your foe using limited sharks, its a lot better than wearing rune and fighting for a while and then running, wasting all those sharks.

worth it, they look cool, nice str bonus, slash bonus, excellent for pking

the first day BA was released i got runner hat and penence skirt.. the second day i got fighter torso, penence gloves and runner boots...

 

 

 

it was worth it getting torso cause i use it everyday training..

Eh, I don't have one, because the only role I like is healer. Also, I'm always stuck with crappy team mates. FTL. Also, the only timeI train combat is in slayer, and I just like the drag chain better.
