quelmotz
someone tell me wtf is so hard about buying a membership? for anyone who says it ruins their pure f2p status, you brought this upon yourselves. and for anyone who calls members stubborn because of the fact that they pay for the capes, those who choose not to pay are equally stubborn. Some people aren't as rich as you. -.- if you consider 5 dollars or whatever currency you use expensive.. cut the big macs or stop using the vending machines. better yet, get a job. there are ways to purchase memberships which jagex recently released. quite an ignorant post calling me rich. im working full time graveyard shift and part time in the afternoon to pay for college and other expenses all while training and competing in powerlifting and taking time to enjoy rs. i highly doubt you even know what hard work is Amazing - assuming that I use vending machines and eat big macs every day... Look - membership prices are not the matter. The point is RuneScape is for LEISURE. I don't want to waste my money on something for leisure. You want to do it, go ahead. Just don't try to impose your stupid opinion on people who don't want to waste money on things that are for leisure. youre right lol, thats why you shouldnt get them, because of the fact the capes are members only content. this whole idea of its 10x harder on f2p so we deserve x could be applied to just about any member content. and before you think im out to get you because of your strong insecurity, the you in this post and last are both generalizations unlike your first ignorant post, but thats what you want me to make the community think isnt it? o and i forgot to add, what makes my opinion stupid compared to anyone elses? most likely because it is so simple and uncomplicated =D> Round of applause for skipping past everything I said and starting to call me an "insecure" person and what-not. I can predict you're going to start flinging childish insults at me now. Like "get a job you [bleep]!" "Insecure [wagon]!" Click here for an awesome suggestion to revive smithing! perfetc
hows this for a suggestion? make skill capes for f2p for only the skill capes that are in f2p areas sounds fair enough How is it? They could get 9 of the capes out of 15 f2p skills. It would is just be a lottery that was played ages ago as to which capes they could get with this idea, for example they couldn't get attack or strength but they could defence. You probably just wanted to sit on the fence and make every body happy but it is either all of the members and f2p capes or none of them. Alg
What would be so hard about moving the cape salesmen to specific areas on F2P worlds? They did it to Mandrith on PvP worlds, this would just be on a larger scale. Say, put Ajjat by the black knight fortress, the master fisherman by a fishing spot, etc. I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr

The point is RuneScape is for LEISURE. I don't want to waste my money on something for leisure. You want to do it, go ahead. Just don't try to impose your stupid opinion on people who don't want to waste money on things that are for leisure. Now that's interesting. For leisure you say, and you don't want to waste your money on something for leisure? Do you honestly think we believe that? Do you even believe that yourself? So you never go to a fare, movie theatre, concert. You never buy yourself CD's or games. You never waste money to go visit family or friends? Hello? Just about everything in this world costs money, so that's absolutely not the point. Should f2p get skill capes? Well, it's the p2p players that pay for the extra content, and the capes just happen to be extra content. It's a choice you make by being f2p. Not having skill capes is one of the things you then miss out on, but hey, everyone is free to make that choice for themselves. If f2pers wanted to wear skillcapes, theyd have to go for a certain skill, maybe not the one they want. no offense, but that's not really a suggestion. just an ignorant and unthoughtful idea. polyvoree
5% of ppl get membership to get skillcapes each year. Although, skillcapes are becoming f2p in winter 2009, when this happens jagex will be making less money. I actually think the f2p should get something ,like a skillcape, as a reward. Secondly, skill capes are not becoming f2p in the winter of 2009, because Jagex has not said so. Thirdly, why on earth should f2p get ,"something like a skill cape, as a reward?" Reward for what? For not supporting the game by not being P2P? unkn0wnwarrior
Lil Duck 99 asks: Will Free To play Players get skillcapes? (Simple Question, Yes or No) Mod Mark: No. 'nuff said. But the question posted here is not "Will F2P get skill capes?" but rather "Should F2P get skill capes?" which is opinion and very much debatable. So 'nuff said on "Will...?" but not "Should...?" unless we don't get any new arguments in here.
