To my opinion, cooking and fletching I do not look at anymore. I see to many..

My topnotch list:

Agility, seen it once and I already hate running around at level 55. So 99.. =D>

My second skill, runecrafting. A skill I am personally close to <3: And a skill that takes a lot of time and patience. A skill that is very! underestimated!

The thirth, would it be gardening. No, herblore! The thirh is herblore. Why?!.. Because of the cost, the time, the effort. Herblore can be bought. For A LOT. Probaly more then construction and prayer all together. Also, it is a hard skill to train.

These 3 are at the top of my list! Others following are slayer, mining and smithing.

Slayer.

Some people dream of success, while others make it happen.

Like everyone else said, the skills that can't be bought. Agility, Mining. Anyone that calls any skill cape a "nub cape" like you said, is lame. Any 99 takes awhile. They're just jealous.

I'd say slayer, runecrafting, farming and mining. :)

Animum debes mutare, non caelum.

well, even though people always say that farming, herblore, crafting, and construction can be bought. The poeple who have the respected capes still had to work hard to earn the capes and the money for the capes. I perosnally think the most respected capes are Herblore, Farming, Hunter, and construction

Slayer, or agility.

to bad the mining cape has the lamest emote

thats the down part, but atleast the cape looks cool.

agility

farming

slayer

mining

None of those skills can be "bought" outright. All the combat skills can be pced very easily.

Yup i agree. Althought farming can be bought its rare and i hate that skill the most lol. So i respect ppl with enough patience to train it.

Slayer - 'Nuff Said.

Crafting - This skill just seems tedious and repetitive to me.

Mining - There is no way to buy xp here. Very tedious. Just a pain in the [wagon].

Agility - Once again no way to buy your xp here and again very tedious.

Smithing - It can be bought but it is very expensive.

How many times are we going to have a "what's the hardest skill to level?" posts? C'mon, statistics make the answer so obvious that discussion (if you can call it that is pointless), so what's the point? We all know what the hardest skills are to level; what is the reason for everyone to completely repeat everyone else for 10 pages straight?

by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.]

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

Slayer, Mining, Agility, Farming, Runecrafting, all the ones that have been named over two dozen times. There are maybe one or two skills one can argue about, but there's really no point in it- we're arguing (if you can really call it that...) verified, definite quantitative data.

Why does everyone think that 'buyable' skills are so terrible (or not respected, I'll say)? :-k Yes, they can be bought, but that doesn't mean that the money for the skill just appears out of thin air. It takes a long time to make the gp necessary to train those skills.

Runecrafting

Mining

I agree completely. These are the only 99's that are truly extremely time consuming, even with maximum funding. Farming, prayer, and herblore ARE some harder 99's to get, but if you are insanely rich, they become easier.

However, I would also consider adding Hitpoints and Slayer to that list. Hitpoints is not so hard to train anymore due to PC, but Slayer is definitely one of the most time intensive 99's to get, even with max funding.
