Wow way to make an intelligent assumption.

Thanks for the troll comment. I don't suppose you have a better reason to why an 8-year-old would be having a large bandana dangling from their pocket?

Because she wants to? Shesh, your logic is the reason why we got the crappy school Dress code <.<

If you're so concered she's a Crpyt member just tell the cops...

Woah, don't go blaming me for your dress code. I never said saggy clothes, short skirts, other clothing, etc. signals gang-oriented activity. You can say what you want, but the majority of the time, that's what it signifies.

Besides, I'm pretty sure bandanas are illegal in EVERY school dress code. Or at least, in all of my schools they have been.

lmao worship killers and dealers? its called respect and it's crip not crypt. anyways unless you want to get banged on for falseflagging then dont wear blue bandanas out of your back pocket thats common sense. and call the cops cuz someones in a gang? get real you cant go to jail for being in a gang you have to commit a criminal activity..

My thoughts exactly.

It's not common sense to me. This is the first I've heard of the relation between gangs and blue bandanas.

Wow. All I can say to that is wow. There's not even a point in explaining.

You obviously do not know of street gangs and what they do. If you know nothing of this topic, why are you posting on this thread as if you do? And don't go saying that you do know about street gangs, because you will have CERTAINTLY heard of flagging, which as far as I have seen, every gang does.

Wow.

I never claimed to know about street gangs. And the reason I'm posting in this topic is because, as a person who is almost entirely ignorant on the subject of gangs, I might make an innocent mistake of wearing something that would cause you to come to the stupid, quick assumption that I'm in a gang. This was an eight year old kid you saw. What makes you think this kid had any idea what a blue bandana signifies? Even the parents don't have to necessarily know what it means. Sure the kid could be in a gang or related to a gang member, but that certainly wouldn't be my first assumption.

Cause they want it there.... Some people have things for next to no reason some times except their personal like....

Yeah, i have a bunch of friends who wear bandanas for style, doesnt mean they are in a gang.

...Such as a blue bandana? I don't know where on Earth you are from, but where I'm from, that's called flagging, which means to signal that you are with a specific group, almost always a gang.

I have never heard of someone wearing a bandana out their pocket just because they want it there.

Here in holland we don't have real gangs and such (not the they go around killing anything from a other gang steriotype gang atleast) and if there are (idk) they surtenly don't show it... And goths wear bandana's out of there pocket's, and they aren't in gangs.

Did anything else about the child look gang-related, you know, like clothes or anything? Or was it just a normal kid with a bandanna?

8-10 year olds are popular with gangs. Theyre fast and they can do minor stuff like drug transpotrtation
Yeh 4 - 5 year olds are pretty popular aswell because they can squeeze through cat-flaps and steal stuff.

They also can't be prosecuted either. So that's a huge bonus right there. Bugger all the other stuff, if the law can't touch them they're right targets for gang recruitment.

I think this little kid was just imitating what 9 out 10 "gangsta's" do. Wear bandanas to signal that they are in a gang. Who gives a [cabbage]?

I've always felt as if I'm the only person who can understand the concept of sarcasm on the internet.

If this is plausible or not depends where you live.

I live in Longueuil, right next to Montreal. In north montreal, it's dangerous to wear red or blue clothes because of the gangs there. A few months ago, a normal man got beaten to death by the blue gang members for wearing a red bag. Just because they hate red so much.

If I saw a 8 years old boy with that in north montreal, no doubt he's in a gang.

As I said, depends where you live.

If I saw anyone wearing a blue or red bandana, I'd give them a wide berth. We don't have any 'gangs' as such yet but each 'area' has a 'crew' which is pretty much a gang. They basically commit small scale break-ins and fight each other. I know of eight year olds who are in these crews and they happily break into houses and garages to steal stuff.

Thanks Venomai for this super sig and Kwimbob for the awesome avatar!

Kids caught committing gang related offenses should be forced to have a vasectomy. Gang culture is poisoning the well of communities and the only way to stop it is to remove the manlyness aspect of it. Its a harsh but fair punishment and reversable for when they grow up and get out of the gang.

reversable?

Yes, it's reversable.

But anyway, most people here just see a kid with a blue bandana out of their pocket. Depending where you live that means something.

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

But anyway, most people here just see a kid with a blue bandana out of their pocket. Depending where you live that means something.

Yeah, but if the kid is only playing with a blue bandana than it doesn't mean anything. I mean, if the kid is wearing blue-jean shorts, a polo, and then has a bandanna with him, what does it matter? Now on the other hand, if the kid is with parents that are wearing all blue-trashy looking clothing, and the kid is wearing trashy clothing also, plus HE has the bandana, then it might actually mean something.

I think I may have found the cause:

For those who don't know

Blue bandannas/hat/do-rags./clothing = Crips/Krips

Red bandannas/hat/do-rags./clothing = Bloods

I don't really mind younger kids dressing a certain way, unless they act like they're real "Gangstas".

What disturbs memore must be mini skirts. When I was in 1-5th grade, miniskirts were unseen, though couple weeks ago I did a comm. service project for 1-3 graders, I was pretty shocked/disgusted.

Yessss, it's just a blue bandanna that people get shot if they show it. Trust me, go to a blood neighborhood with a blue article of clothing, you'll get killed. It's happened, and it will keep happening.

Gang members are always very ignorant (Ignorant does not mean stupid), and in many cases unintelligent. They dont think that way.

In Moscow, gang members are very easy to spot becasue they have the nicest clothes. Normal people don't usually walk around the inner city area wearing three piece suits. We have a better sense of style than the West. :P

the russians are the best! Hands down!

What are you talking about?

I'm not telling them to think that way, I'm asking him what the case was.
