new lunar spells?

Yeah, wh confuses me is that JaGEx thinks that just because a spell is on one spell book, it can't be on another. High Alchemy sounds great, but perhaps it requires a slightly different rune combination... or how about it turns into gems or something... anways, its gotta be different because it draws it's power from a different scource.

 

 

 

More teleports would be nice, and what about group home tele?

IF this new quest is going to add anything, it will be an update for rangers...

 

Of all Fremenniks, Rellekka/main land is very warrior based, Lunar is very magic based, the Isles are very skilling based, and the Kingdom is very cash-flow based...

but they said there will be new lunar *spells* which means magic update not ranged <.< though i would like any sort of range reward quest :pray:

hey ive got an idea! how about smith without anvil/hammer? that would be great!
One of the most useless spells ever to be created, many people do smith plates which they only use 25 bars per trip, of course they have a slot to hold the hammer.

 

its not supposed to be a spell to avoid using hammers its supposed to be a spell to avoid using anvils!

 

My bad, however if you consider the distance of anvils from a bank, the runes used for it is probably not going to worth the spell anyway, it's just going to be another dead spell only useful for convenient scenarios, not for mass smithing.

 

 

 

This spell would rock at Steel Dragons.

hey ive got an idea! how about smith without anvil/hammer? that would be great!

If some are before 65 then i'll guess they probably wont be of alot of use, and the ones at the high end will be great.

that would never be released, at least not a great cost in money/runes. It would make things waaaay to easy (if you mean it would act as a normal bank)

I doubt they will seperate the spells, they didn't tell us anything about that and it doesn't seem logical... we don't need another spell book. And I think they'll fit the spells somewhere around level 70-80.

Since spells are being added to the spellbook, don't expect too many new spells (well I'm not). I think they'll add maybe 5-10 new spells. *Hopefully* the spells will be useful and worthwhile. I hope there are more skills related spells added to this one over support spells, as the Lunar spellbook already has enough support spells. Some useful skilling spells would be nice like the aforementioned Tan Hides spell. A Group Home Tele would be great as well as some useful, skills related teles.

 

 

 

Remember, like Freesia said, don't get too expectant. It's been happening a lot lately here on the forums, people are hoping for heaps and being disappointed.

that would never be released, at least not a great cost in money/runes. It would make things waaaay to easy (if you mean it would act as a normal bank)

 

 

 

If the cost didn't unbalance the game, I could see a "deposit box" spell working. Of course, they can always limit it to certain things, such as anything but essence, logs, etc.

Especiallly when i bank for any reason at mage bank...and see the normal lvl 3 autoer there buying out all the runes...

 

 

 

Man that would be a sweet rune drop and cash too even...ya lvl 14 evil chicken > lvl 3 autoer noob any day...= free stuff for me.

Whats your problem? You post about new Lunar Spells, then say you hate Lunar. Then, you have a go at someone just because they are agreeing with many others that a tanning spell is a good idea. He was agreeing with others and whats the matter with that? It just proves beyond doubt that a Tanning spell is what the community would like from this update. :roll:

will you calm down?! yes i posted about this coz i wanted people's opinions about it and because i had no ideas for spells and yes i pretty much hate the lunar spell book because tehre are no offensive spells and if so many people say the same thing someone must say so many people are saying the same thing if it wasnt me it would have been someone else it doesnt matter

Going with the craft theme of super glass make etc, how about a tan hide spell? I think new teleports are def on the cards too.. a moonclan and neitiznot/jatizso tele would be nice.

 

 

 

that would = mass crafting and stupidley high rates on hides

I'm hoping for more teleport spells. The main thing I use Magic for is for teleportation.

 

 

 

 

 

To be honest there are 3 spells that the Lunar Spell needs before I would consider using it on a permanently basis.

 

 

 

Home Port

 

The fact that it don't require any runes, not any magic levels, and don't take up space in your inventory/equipment make this a very appreciated spell from my side.

 

 

 

House Tele

 

I use this all the time, my house is filled with stuff I cant live without. Prayer altar for recharging and prayer training. Teleport room with essential teleports, and a mounted glory. It is also 100% essential for construction training.

 

 

 

High alchemy

 

Not going into details here, I use it mostly when I'm on slayer tasks. Essential for fletching training etc.

 

 

 

 

 

Most of your problems can all be fixed by making your own home tele tablets. I use those all the time, and just stay on lunar or ancient mage at all times. The only exception is whenever some friends want to go f2p pking with me, and they need a mage.
