clearing up the "how rich is Jagex" speculation

Recommended Posts

they got irl a lot less that 104 million is when they sell the complete company

That doesn't mean they're rich. It's very uncommon that rich people have all their value in cash.

Just to point it out, it is 106m euro.

This means they are worth approximately 144m USD.

It's pound sterlin, which makes it $208mil what they own. :P

Like people have stated that's their money in stocks mostly... they personally don't have a lot of cash. And to be 654 on top 1000 in Britain and Ireland isn't exactly amazing. Granted none of us will ever reach that milestone, but people like Donald Trump are worth billions.

That's amazing, but whats more amazing:

Bill Gates alone is worth 350 TIMES as much as Jagex. That means that the Gowers, who are rich enough to be on the rich list, have .27% the wealth of Bill Gates, with a value of a little over 72 billion dollars.

If you were to make $100,000 a year, which is a pretty decent pay, it would take 723,115 years and 11 months to make that much.
