Do you do Minigames for fun or for Reward?

Everyone seems to play Pest Control to level and some people hate it because it makes leveling a lot faster and they think its not the "Proper way". But have you ever just tried games like that for fun? I mean we could probably do a Pest Control TIF event like we do with castle wars.

This could be thought about with a lot of Minigames like Trawler, Barb assualt, Castle wars, Fight caves, Fight pits, Barrows, Blast furnace, Champions challenge, Chompy hunting, Pet care, Plunder, Jungle clean up, Mage arena, Mage training arena, Troble brewing, Temple trekking, TT's, Sorceress garden, Rogues and a few others.

So do you play them for fun or for Reward?

Why dont you try them for Fun?

I personally do it for both.

Slaying Chompybirds is in my opinion quite fun, so I didnt really have a problem with the 4k hat.

However, Trouble brewing is that minigame that I do for fun and fun alone. The outfits are nice too. But I just love the way how you play the game. Same goes for Barbarian Assault ( with a good team, wich is about the same chance as getting a d chain from the gambling :D ).

A mix of both. With PC fx. I only do it for the reward. It's boring to PC.

But CW is both for the rewards and for the run of it. Same with "barrows", "dk" etc.

99 ranged | 99 magic | 99 defence | 99 hitpoints

Remember, it's just a game

I play most minigames for the rewards they offer. Not much luck obtaining a 3rd age item from a treasure trail, but meh, it'll come. Also 500 points away from full void knight, still a long way to the highest trouble brewing flag.

Best part of all this is, that nearly all minigames are fun too. :)

Barbarain Assault: For fun (although I usually end up getting annoyed by people leaving before the wave has finished or people whod otn blow the horn)

Barrows: Dont do Barrows

Shade's of Morton: For fun cos my combat stats are only high enough to kill the level 60s

Trouble Brewing: haven't done Cabin Fever

Pest Control: Rewards ( one of the only two mini games i dislike)

Soceress' Garden: Rewards ( one of the only two mini games i dislike)

Castle Wars: For fun

Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup: Fun

Gnome Delivery: Fun/Rewards

Rogue Trader: Rewards

Rogues Den: Don't have the requirements but it looks kinda fun

Generally I try to do both, have fun whilst getting rewards. I don't CW religiously because it starts to become boring, but I will take that extra match even if I am bored if it means i'm gonna get that blue pl8body. I hate things being unfinished before I go to bed.

The rewards need to be fairly decent, like as fun as Tai Bwo Wannai clean up is, the rewards just aren't good enough to make it worth the time it takes.

I'd like to see you solo all three dag kings at once.

Easily done with just 2 people.

Mostly fun. I started out with Pyramid Plunder playing for fun, after 10m~ xp there it starts to lose it's appeal though :XD:

I don't really play many minigames, I solo trawler occasionally if i'm bored, for fun, and also play castle wars a couple of times a week. Apart from that there aren't really any other minigames I play

I play pest control to gain experience and also to try to hit as high as I can, because of the special attack regeneration.

I play castle wars purely for fun, but getting more decorative armour is always nice, but I consider it fun armour, not real armour.

I play barbarian assault for the rewards, but I greatly enjoy playing it when I have a good team of friends.
