well i don't know about you but my vacation is 2 weeks away \

 

 

 

as for prices, well i never have enough money to buy anything, so i don't really care.

 

 

 

and who camps? ppl are crazy if they go camping. humankind conquered(almost) nature and now ppl want to go back to it? i still don't quite understand it :-k i went camping once, i don't see how you would like it, all the bugs flyin around, eatin cold food... -.-

 

 

 

Dude camping is fun... I don't know where you camp but its very relaxing and its a chance to get away from it all...

Nah I go swimming in the summer allot. But pretty much all of my friends are addicted to rs, so hanging out with them would mean sitting at theirs watching them play rs :) . Wich is ok too.

 

Im NOT getting new friends because they all play runescape by the way, that would be really stupid :?

 

 

 

Hoping for lots of heatwaves to get swimming and hoping for lots of great updates for me to do in the morning and evening, and maybe night 8-)

well rele it depends on if the players are just annualy playing players, on and off players, or new players. if there new, then bots will rise again (we need the terminator now dont we?) if its experienced players, then it probably wont change alot as they will know wat 2 do.

 

 

 

rares are hard to price as the future. if its experienced players coming back, then they will rise as those players will want them. competition can be good and bad. it can be good as for the prices, with more ppl getting them, they will lower because as it is now its balanced as ppl who get them and ppl who buy them. and it is bad because the spots will become way too crowded, maby some ppl leaving the spots and the prices will rise because recourses

 

 

 

this summer will be chaotic, as it usually is. with the bots gone less recourses are in, and with the more ppl there will be, prices will be all over the place. then again we can alwase ask the Wise Old Man what it will be like, he seems to have his foot in just about everything.... :-w

I also plan to do some working (to fund the partying) and a 24 hour Rs marathon.

Just admit you're going to play more, or don't post [for 97% of people]. When I played, summer was nothing but two to three DK trips a day- i.e. A LOT of Runescape. You're not making yourself look cooler by making such blatantly mendacious statements :| .

I like them resorce prices go down for two reasons, one I don't use them to make my money and two it helps me out with training barrows KQing ect. Because all the pirces are lower so its easyer for me to get them.

If, say.. The Phat is 100% at first of the summer. It will go to aproximatly 121% at the peek summer and will drop to 105-110% after the summer. Then it will raise again. If you want a Phat, get it now, or either use the time and buy it when it is dropping after the holidays. Everything between is a bad buy. (as far as I see how RS economy/RL economy goes ;))

Statistically, people play more in the summer. Even people that say they play much less in the summer probably play more This is due to the fact that it feels like you are playing less because of the ratio of free time to runescape.

 

 

 

In the school/workyear, you get, say, 8 hours of free time per day (assuming your not in college and that you actually go to sleep at night). That free time is spent doing homework, studying, sports, extracurricular activities, hanging out with friends, etc. Lets say a person plays runescape 2 hours a day during the schoolyear (many people play 3-5). Thats 1:4th of their free time, or 25%; thats a big commitment, and it feels like one.

 

However, in the summer, you have as much free time as you want. You go to sleep late, wake up late, hang out and be lazy, etc. During your 16+ hours of free time each day, you may play runescape for 3 hours, 1 hour longer than during the schoolyear. Thats 3:16, or 18.75% of their free time. Even though your are playing a whole hour more, you are playing 6.25% less compared to free time. Thats why it feels like you play less or equal to the schoolyear.

 

 

 

 

 

As for the actual topic, I strongly believe rares are going to go up over the summer. The ratio of rares to players playing at the moment is keeping the price low. Once people come back during the summer, the ratio of rares to players playing during the summer will cause a price increase. Statistically, because of the ratio of rares to players, rares become more rare even though there are no less or no more rares.
