JimmyMcNabb
Maybe that Mod was wrong? You never know, their not all smart as you think. JaGex IS British, ya know... Sorry Gold Tiger but you have been offending British people and other races a lot over the past few months in your posts. Maybe for once you'll look at yourself and actually see that your not perfect either. Probably hates us cause he ain't us :XD: But the I always wear a ROW anyway. Don't worry Gold he is Welsh anyway. hehe.. tommy likes sheep... :uhh:
o_knames
I see what people are saying about the tricky wording. And it is definitely contradictory to what's in the knowledge base. Draco might shoot another message to the mod so there is absolutely no doubt. cellstorm
my understanding of barrows was always that by killing the brothers u had a chance of an 'item drop' from them. only it wouldnt appear on the floor but in the chest at the end. Same for runes and racks. Ive always wore ROW for barrows and ive had some sucess there. but never read the knowledge base on barrows as it wasnt around when i 1st went there. the reply from the Jmod just isnt straight forward and looks to contradict the KB. wish they would just be totally upfront and unified on these things..... Bludragon124
Awesome. I will definitely use that instead of a ring of life at barrows, now. Noted raw mackerel drop... Wtfh? rareghoul1
Ring of Wealth is Rubbish. Daggannoth Rings FTW wow, it increases daggannoth kings drops as well... it doesn't increase chances of getting barrows stuff because the chest is affected by your kill count and number of bros. you kill, the brothers don't drop stuff and it goes into the chest, who thought up that lame idea? Zoidnerd
grahg. okay here, I need everyone to understand this language is very tricky, the way they worded this is no exception. They said the ring increases the chances of a rare item being dropped. They said this effect occurs during the barrows minigame. They never said that it affected the chest rewards. The monsters in the barrows tunnels *from what I know* only drop bones. The ring could very well make these monsters drop their most valuable drops more often, but it'd still be bones. They never said that the ring affected the chest, they just said that the effect works whilst you are in the barrows minigame. This is correct, and the Ring does NOT affect getting ANY barrows items in the chest, that's a fact. although i use eather zerker or mage's ring at barrows Mod Mark told me personally that the RoW effects barrows chesting, you take this up with him, because im sick of incompitant J-Mods bsing people about the facts. Kosz
Ok people stop fighting. Its very easy to see what really works. I done A lot of barrow trips and gotten 41 Items (not counting key halfs) and 3 whooping G spears. But recently I haven't had much luck since my last g spear. But anyways 4 or 6 people do Barrows 2 or 3 people have wealth and the others don't. Then we see which one got more drops. Simple I might do it but when I am done get 85 fishing :notalk: Anyone up for it? the_drunk_dude
This will soon be looked because "Messages from Jagex are confidential and not to be posted on these forums" That's a nice find though. I might message them just for perks =D> still waiting for ur mod memo? i wear ring of wealth ever since 87+ cause life was no longer useful, im always suspicious that Jagex makes everything drop more including TT although everyone says it doesnt, =;
