They said the ring increases the chances of a rare item being dropped. They said this effect occurs during the barrows minigame. They never said that it affected the chest rewards. The monsters in the barrows tunnels *from what I know* only drop bones. The ring could very well make these monsters drop their most valuable drops more often, but it'd still be bones. They never said that the ring affected the chest, they just said that the effect works whilst you are in the barrows minigame.

May 18, 200719 yr Since the message does not say Reward and to interpret it to say Reward would directly contradict the Knowledge Base, I wouldn't put too much faith in this meaning that a Ring of Wealth increases the chance of getting an item in the Chest. This is correct, and the Ring does NOT affect getting ANY barrows items in the chest, that's a fact.
