gdawg1512
 As of late, I've been losing a bunch of hair from the front patch on my forehead....It started out with what looked like a slash where hair woudn't grow. I thought it was a burn or a razor scar but my dad (who happens to be a physcian) thought it was ringworm...or another type of scalp infection. At first, I thought i was imagining it but as the months progressed it became pretty obvious that I was losing some hair.....so I told my dad about it and he brings up the whole scalp infection thing after barely glancing at it. He told me they take 3-6mths to clear up and I was wondering if any of you have any experience with this kind of thing....... :uhh: my absolute worst fear is that it could be male pattern baldness.. :ohnoes:

KCHughes
I had a friend that went bald when he was 17. It happens to some folks early, I guess. I would think you would be more afraid of a scalp infection, because that seems like it would take a lot of painful treatment or something. the russians are the best! Hands down! assassin_696
I actually read an article today about a guy who shaved all his hair to see what it was like being bald. Apparently there are several perks, being bald makes you look 'ard' so people move out of your way more often in case they get floored. But there also disadvantages, like women not finding you attractive. But don't worry, there might be a cure!
