What games do you wish you never bought?

If you dont like them why dont you just return them

in australia if you buy at EB Games you can get a full refund within 7 days, its enough time to work out if the game is bad or not

any time after then and you can sell games back, i dont know about PC games but i no you can return and sell console games

You'd be hard pressed to find a store in Australia which allowed you to return PC games now days. EB Games doesn't even do it afaik, just the game trade ins.

Time Commando

It looked like such a great game when it first came out but I didn't buy it until it was pretty old and in a used games bin. I think I paid about $5 for it but that was $5 too much.

You gotta be kidding me! I loved that game as a kid. Basically played it from start-to-finish hundreds of times. :P

Anyway, for me it would have to be either Guild Wars... or some old airplane-fighting game that you couldn't even install. I forget the name of it.

Oh, and Captain Quazar, the first cd-rom game I ever got. Man, what a [cabbage]ty game that was. The intro video song was awesome though. I still get the song stuck in my head from time to time, and I haven't played it in roughly 10 years.

[quote name="mixandIs their another one that is not xbox? because mine was pretty much a clone' date=' and you couldnt skip the movies.

Iv got it for the pc, Great game and you can skip the movies after you have played the mission. only problem is certain glitches at time with charicters for example: if you play any one but sam at cirith ungul you will see a sword floating in the air handing itself to frodo with sam's voice.

Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life for GCN. Total disappointment and not worth the $50 I spent on it. $10, maybe $15 would have been acceptable.

Lol i bought that one too, dissappointed too. But I only spend like 15$

Supermario smash bros melee, total junk.

you. are....... CRAZY

if you got some friends over and had any spaces left put the computer on level 9 man its so fun :XD:

Yeah, I think he's crazy. I've played it a few times at my friend's house, was very fun.

And I wish I never bought any sports games. Not that they were bad, not that they sucked, but I played for a season then stopped. I could've bought something better instead that could last longer.

Alright, I don't mind

But seriously, I didn't like it, it's not because 90% of people liked it that the 10% who didn't are insane.

Lord of the Rings - Fellowship of the Ring.

The graphics didn't work for me, all you could see was grey with a few textures stuck on places randomly. I still managed to get all the way to Weathertop though :XD:

- Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events game -Gamecube

- Over the Hedge - Gamecube

After those 2 games, I told him not to buy any more movie-based games except for Spiderman.

GUILD WARS.

I hated that game soooo soooo SOOOOO much. It was just terrible. I should have gone and got a refund, but I really wanted to make a statement, so...I burned it. It was that bad. :(

Divine Divinity. It looks cool and all, but I never got around to actually playing it. I literally played less than 10 minutes, and I don't know why. Maybe I'll play it someday, but until then its purchase just an unfortunate waste of $40.

Flight Sim X. Wasted 70 bucks for something that baarely runs on my pc :(

Same thing happened to me but with Gothic 3. (but it didn't run at all :? )

another game i wish i didn't get was call of duty 3: big red one, its a good game, but after finishing it 2 times i never play it anymore.

one of my little brothers friend has 4 computers all at 2GB of ram with duel processors and when i tried running Gothic he said "why don't you just get more ram" (i have under 256) i cant just add heaps of ram like him, it costs money and i can't do it anyway. (im saving up for a new computer, its gonna take a while :P)

also everyone in his family (except parents) has a wow membership for each account which must cost allot for just a game, i just swap goes with my brother :)

Never really made a mistake in any of the games I have bought. But my little brother, he bought Lego Star Wars II for DS, and it's terrible, bad graphics, clunky controls, glitchy, etc. We then went and got the Gamecube version, and it's amazing, I highly recommend it. I myself own a few really bad games, but they are all gifts from people like my grandma who only know big names (i.e. movie-based games).

Lord Of The Rings - Fellow Ship Of The Ring - I beat the game, but it was just so bad. Bad textures, bad combat, clunky controls. UG.

Flight Simulater X - My computer can't even run it.

Battle For Middle Earth 2 - My pc > BFME2

Jax and Daxter 1&2 - Dumb platforming in 1, lousy controls in 2.

EDIT: Taking WoW off the list.

You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you."
