ViolaWoman Posted August 12, 2007 Share Posted August 12, 2007 I definitely got lost until I figured out the compass thingy. Killed some goblins and kept the goblin armor and tried to wear it. I never begged, but I walked around picking up all the stuff other players left after killing goblins, cows and chickens. Buried bones like crazy and visited Leo about 10 times. After a few weeks, I made it up to Varrock and was promptly killed by the Dark Wizards. For months after that, anytime I had to go by their little Dark Wizard circle, I ran. When I finally got my levels high enough, I had my revenge; now I kill a few of 'em whenever I get the chance. Those were some fun days! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Then I did tons of quests lol, which is why I became a member in the first place, had done all the f2p quests, and members had like 3 times more for me to do!! The warning said I could find treasure, so I went into about 30 wildy thinking there would be chests along the way.... I got massacred by some level 30 pure... Kempomkills Posted September 2, 2007 Share Posted September 2, 2007 First thing I did was hang around in Lumbridge, asking for free stuff :-) Then I was watching TV as I played and some guy told me he'd bring me to the big city, so I clicked "follow" and was watching TV, and next thing I know, I was in wilderness, being killed by him. So that was my first time.... :notalk: Then after that I cut some trees, mined some tin and copper, and fished some shrimps, then baited some herring for awhile. I also added "Woman" to my friends list because I thought she was another player. Then I wondered why she never talked to me. I wandered around a lot, died and got really upset. Then I killed men and goblins for a while. After a few weeks I was about level 18. (Yeah, I suck.) Then I got horribly lost (by the farm south of Falador) and quit. Then I made a new account (Memo545454) and kinda, stood around in lumbridge castle. Then a very kind person called Setablaze offered to help me. He taught me all the basics and that I could kill cows to get cowhides to sell for money. He showed me Varrock which I thought was absolutely terrifying. He tells me about this 'fantastic new game called RuneScape'. So I head over to his house and we make me a file. When I finally get off Tutorial Island, I immediately head over to the church across from Lumbridge Castle. Apparently, this is the so-called 'best and only place to train'. Finally, when I'm combat level 10 from attacking men and women so much, my friend walks up as a combat level 32. I'm like 'woah! How'd you get your level that high!?' He tookme across the river and showed me the goblins, cows, chickens, Al-Kharid, and Varrock. That was when my RuneScape adventure Really started.
