My tip; Always try to multi task! Grow some herbs whilst raning those hellhounds for Slayer. Be self efficient, get your own herbs, seeds etc. It all adds up.

-i once had 200k when santas were like 50k, cant believe i spent it on full rune..

I remember in RSC when santas were 200k and i was debating whether to buy one but i spent it on rune unstead.

I also remember in RS2 when Red halloween masks were 900k and i was going to buy one but decided not to. I hate myself so much for that. #-o

Sorry, that was off-topic.

My tip, items high-alch for 150% of what they sell for in the general store. So dont alch anything unless it sells for at least 200gp in the store or you will not make profit.

P2P offers more and better ways of making money than f2p. That's one of the cons you just have to play with if you don't feel like having 1 bigmac meal less per month.

If you see me pking, bring a phat and a steel scimmy, then skull on me.

In all seriousness I can manage, my tip is that the best spot in F2p to both train and bank (on) willows is the one east of Port Sarim, and NOT the one near the fishing spot. (Unless it's the morning and it's not very crowded.)

Very true, especially if you are/were a member and have agility and the right equipment

When you get a mysterious box, wait as long as possible to open it. I typically get a diamond if I wait about 15 seconds, compared to the typical sapphire

That's weird, whenever I get one and open it immediatly, I get a sapphire but when I leave it 30 secs or so, I get 150gp or so :-k

In that case...If you want 98 str you can kill chickens for maby 20straight days without stopping. The downside of this is ppl might report u cuz they think your a crazy bot. Juz remember to use aggressive style, I am a very good tip-maker aren't i  ?

Shadow's Combat Training Tip #1:

While training on a low-leveled monster, if you wish to train all levels (Attack, Strength, Defense), DO NOT use the controlled combat style. First train in Attack and Strength, and then, after you've reached the desired level, THEN train in Defense. This will allow your higher accuracy and max hits to train more effectively in defense.

In F2P lesser's are one of the best monsters to kill for fast money, plus one of them has a great safe spot to train range/magic.

Current goal: Getting enough prayer pots to finish my last four quests.

Come to the dark side. We have cookies and flashlights.

You can train firemaking very easily by buying willows from a F2P Rimmington general store, and burning them and buying more.

Theres usually loads of Willows in there, so there quite cheap to buy and its fast exp.

There's a nice line for 27 willow logs to burnt in succession at the south of Draynor... you have to find it.

Hint: You'll need to start behind a tree.

Yeah... No offense, but there are a lot of lines for firemaking, there are around 10 lines for 27 fires in Rimmington, right next to the willow trees. So, this isn't really a tip.

If you can't afford to lose items, don't carry any more than three if you're going somewhere you might die.

Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, your commodity drops in value.

Don't pull on that.

A valid tip though:

Men/Women in lumbridge, near the axe shop is a decent place ot hunt lvl 1 clues, and get some decent herbs.

Another good place is the goblins near there.

I used to collect clues from men at edgeville house. This truely went fantastic and I could get a nice batch of herbs in no time!

A great tip I found were:

-Combat potions are made from harlanders. Harlanders can be used for energy pots which hardly sell. But try collecting goat horns in the desert. This goes pretty fast and you can make combat potions from them. They give +15% to Attack + Strenght! This saves inventory space and are just very handy to have with you!

-When you firstly become member and you want to train combat. Try getting a friend to give you some of his spare attack potions. These are very cheap to get. Sometimes just 100-200gp ea. They increase your attack by 15% and you will surely notice the difference. Potions are a mens best friend!

-When woodcutting a lot, try getting your hands on a Lucky Rabbit string. These increase your chance on Bird nests like a Ring of Wealth does for drops. It is not common to see one, but you can also try to get one yourself. It is quite fun to do. And although you cannot really see the effects, on the long term you will most likely get more bird nests. Don't forget to look around!

-When playing Runescape, listen to some music. This calms you down, but also you do something else, like switching song from time to time. This gets you less bored and is good for your arm, as you will make a different movement. This is especially good when 'grinding' which is doing something very repetative.

-When you want to PK a RC-Pker when you are Rc'ing, Don't forget to bring a Ppot or to recharge your prayer. As you do not wish to lose your DDS to the RC PKer. You are skulled and the abys drains your prayer. Do not forget this!

-Monks can heal your health. Even if you just killed another monk in front of him, they will still heal you. So you can train here for an awfull long time without healing.

-If you wish to train your magic and you get bored of High Alchemy, try the following few things:

  • Superheat: Take 24 iron ore, a fire staff, a rune pickaxe and natures and make your steel bars on the same spot as you mine the coal! You get the smithing experience + 25 magic experience. Also, you get full mining experience from the coal and you make profit, as steel bars sell for a lot more!

Steel dragons: Your chance to kill high level monsters. Bolts with chaos gauntlets are a great way of getting some fast magic experience. And with a Dragon drop, you easily make a profit there!

My fair share of some simply tips in Runescape. O yes, do not forget, the Security Stronghold monsters in Members give a lot better drops then in F2P. Ankous for their bloods + deaths and clues! Flesh crawlers for their great amount of herbs and fire runes! They are great experience aswell. So when you are member, pay a visit again to the SOS and remember the tips given there. And ofcourse, enjoy the loot.

Don't think that if you're drunk in real life, everything happening in RS while you're trying to focus enough to play it, is an illusion. Because its not. So dont drink if you're planning on playing this game in the following few hours.

You dont want to find your character a few expensive items poorer the next morning.
