Anyone got a phobia? Genophobia* Is a funny one :uhh: but personally I have a phobia of heights that are untamed(?) (By that I mean I'm fine if I'm ontop of a mountain, but there are safety rails)

I suffer from Anatidaephobia

I have a REALLY unique phobia (not saying what it is lol) and I'll tell ya, they can get in the way of your life SO much.

Needles even though I have tattoos :uhh:

I know someone who has transport phobia. She has to take the plane recently and was very anxious about it.

 

 

 

I also used to have social phobia/social anxiety, but I got rid of it to an extent and still getting rid of the remains. To say the least, it's the kind of phobia that can ruin a persons' life. But, I have to say I learned a lot of things going through that hardship.

Only spiders really. I dont think im particularly afraid about anything else.

i'm guessing his phobia is admitting he has a phobia perhaps?

Birds and other things that flutter such as butterflier.

Unstable heights and deep water :?

I have a fear of commitment. :o

 

 

 

But seriously though, my two biggest fears are probably heights (Oddly, I love rock climbing, though. :shock: ), and spiders/scorpions. A few experiences I had when I was about 8-9 made me very scared of scorpions. I'm mostly over that part of my phobia, though.

I have a fear of spiders, and ferrets. God, do ferrets scare me :ohnoes:

i have mild phobias or spiders and confined spaces. i'm getting over the confined spaces one.. but if i even see a huntsman (harmless, but relatively large house spider), i'm like a little girl. maybe it's a bit more than mild.. :-w

Hydrophobia, lol i take showers but man i hate the skin on top of water, i hate dripping taps (i have actually been ill over that before) and i hate gels and creams hehe kinda bad really

 

 

 

I am also scared of hospitals :P

 

 

 

And injections, needles fine, the thought of being injected with liquid dirt and germs ... *screams* :boohoo: :-X

Death, fire, vehicular accidents, bugs, open heights, escalators, public speaking, dogs, glitter, and a few other things.

Care to explain what they mean?

Alot of phobias since in latin are easy to know what they mean because you take phobia which means fear and then say its Cryophobia, Cyro as in Cyrogenis or what ever you call freezing people, you know Cyro has to do with freezing or cold so its fear of freezing or extreme cold.

 

 

 

If you don't know what a word means just look at the beginning and end and divide it up and think of other words you know of that have similiar parts to it.
