Also in COD3 when that german flung out of nowhere and started to attack me. (Damn natzi!) And of course Doom scared the hell out of me.

F.E.A.R. is so far the only game besides Half Life 1 to actually scare me. That little ghost girl scared the crap out of me many a time. Also the last cutscene at the end of the game was quite scary.

 

 

 

I must admit I've never played Resident Evil or Doom 3 though.

Any Resident Evil game will scare me. I'm nto sure why they scare me so easily, it generally annoys me. But I can't play the games well becuase they freak me out. \

 

 

 

The original Resident Evil game was the worst for it, especially the scene where you walk into the room and a zombie is eating someone and turns to you, and begins walking after you. :-k

Silent Hill 4, I only played the demo in the amusement park and I cacked in my trousers to be blunt.

 

Also, Dino Crisis 1, the first raptor attack...holy crap.

F.E.A.R scared the crap out of me, that girl pops up when least expected, especially that part where you have to climb down the ladder, you turn around to climb down and there she is 1 meter away from you! I almost fell off my chair at that moment.

im glad im not the only one who was scared [cabbage]less from hl2. Ravenholm, every corner there was something you didn't expect. the fast zombies were the worst, you would see them jumping from roof to roof, and you know they're comin for you... then BOOM OH [cabbage] THEY'RE COMING FROM BEHIND TOO, WHERE THE HELL'D IT COME FROM?

 

 

 

F.E.A.R. was definitely the scariest, though. you knew it was scary, but you didn't know when. or how. every cut seen and little girl you see builds up to some unknown moment that will scare you [cabbage]less (craaaazy cutscenes) but you never know when its coming :oops:

 

 

 

i got F.E.A.R. when everyone but my little sister was away for three weeks. a.k.a. i was always playing it alone, in the dark...

id say doom 3 was pretty scary

 

 

 

 

 

i hated it when you could hear and see the shadows of trites only to find out they were behind you en masse :shock:

any level with the flood in halo scares the hell out of me for some reason :ohnoes:

Yep... that one scared me to death when I was younger.

 

 

 

Half Life and Doom 3 had some scary "pop out" moments which made me jump the first time through. :

the first half life scared me the most...the way those headcrabs kept popping out of nowhere.

The only game I've been genuinely scared while playing, is "The Suffering" for the Xbox. I couldn't play much of it without it being too much for me, so I ended up returning it to Blockbuster the same day I rented it.

God ravenholm was a nightmare, doesent help when you get lost there

 

 

 

Half life 1 had some scary moments too. The parts with those large underwater fish things when you first get the crossbow, Im never going swimming unless its clear water again, was worse than jaws :anxious:

 

 

 

and the part halfway through the railway section were you have to get past that big blue creature that fires fire out of its hand. Just walking around that bit being able to hear it scare the bajeebus out of me -.-

My friend was completely freaked out by 'The Suffering'... The creatures that are destroying the prison. I was slightly freaked but was able to not show it. He couldn't play it anymore... I would have, though, just so I could beat it.

sadly the most pansy game when i was small on the N64. banjo-kazooie. the level was in a island cove, was bout to get eaten by a shark. i panicked, turned off N64 didnt touch for 3 months and had nightmares....must explain my phobia to going into beach water O_o

+1 with dc1, like when you go past these big windows and nothing happens, then you go back to them a load of raptors burst through and smash the windows. and one prince of persia ww when the dahaka comes...eek! :ohnoes: :ohnoes: :uhh:
