Ravenwood in general in Half Life 2. I ran out of ammo is the first 5 minurtes in there, died twice to being lit on fire by burning kerosene, and had to use the gravity gun for almost the entire level.

Playing Doom 3 at like 2 am. I was walking through a level and there are these dark squares on the walls that can be vents, however most of the time they're just slight inclines in the wall. I got extremly sick of shining my torch on the wall and the one time i didnt i heard something, shined the torch on the wall and there was a horrible grey thing crawling out of a hidden air vent. I actually screamed.

I agree... cherubs and Hell Knights scare the living sh*t out of me. That and when you are walking through the bloody corridors right before you go into hell and that dude with a chainsaw is appearing and dissapearing as the lights flicker.

During the Resident Evil 1 remake on the Gamecube, there was a hallway pretty early on where a few Cerberus jump through the window. I knew it was coming because I already played the original PS version. I walked down the hall and heard the glass crack so I immediately began firing like a madman. About a clip and a half later I realized there was nothing there. Ten minutes later I walk back through the same hallway thinking the coast is clear and WHAM, zombie dogs all over me.

Ravenholm in Half life 2 scared me [cabbage]...

I was 16 at the time (I think).

I was 15 when i played it. I was terrified. I had really good graphics and decided to play the level using headphones. The whole of that level is disturbing, everything from the washing lines to the saw blades. One of the best designed levels I've played on. My back garden looks just like the one you see at the start of the level as well. I couldn't go to the garage without being terrified for about a month.

I don't know why, but the zombie stuck on the electric fence really freaked me out when I first saw it. It was up there about 5 feet off the ground, twitching as the electric fence ran the current through it. Saw blades with the gravity fun was satisfying though. Nothing like chopping a zombie in half with a saw blade-turned-frisbee.

Really I get slightly scared on any game where I have no idea what is coming up even if im just going along in a hover boat along a river with nothing on.

The worst part had to be when you got the shotgun. That really crazy priest gives you it, and you turn around to leave and WOOSH this zombie (a fast one) jumps right at your face.

I screamed bloody murder the first time that happened.

The end of that area was damned amazing as well. The maniac priest just shouting in glee as he mows down zombies, classic.

Scariest moment? seeing the zombie in the cage at Ravenholm. When you torched it, it let out a bone chilling yell.

Also, going into the level. You see a half a body dangling from a tree with Ravens picking at it..then you go through the saw barn and there's a bnch of zombie corpses...and then the first few come from nowhere >.<

Resident Evil 4 on the Wii. I jump, then my aim gets screwed up.

thesip2.jpg

It really has

I was and still am afried of the 'under water' world in Super Mario 64, *siver* the whole level is just scary to me

Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob.

People in OT eat glass when they are bored.

Seeing as I've never touched a RE or Doom game, my "worst" is quite pathetic. On the Adventure Mode in SSBM, the Like-Likes just scare the crap out of me, especially since I don't know where they are. The worst part of this ordeal is the fact that I automatically hit Start when I get sucked in, so I'm staring at a 3-4 foot Like Like.

I'd probably have a heart attack playing RE or Doom, lol.

The code in my sig should say 1032 not 0132.

When i was 13 i was skimming through demo's on a PS2 CD, it was really late and it was pitch black except for my TV. I found a game called "Fatal Frame" and tried it. I was so scared I couldn't even play it. Eventally i beat it and im still looking for the full game somewhere

Imagine seeing that at 1am in the pitch black without expecting it

A preview of Condemned I read in Game Informer. It scared me stupid.

As for something I've played....RE4.

I don't run races to see who's the fastest, I run to see who has the most guts. -Pre

Currently the best beat out there:

Minuit jacuzzi (DatA Remix) - TEPR

In the right mood I can get scarred by a good amount of games. I've been dungeon crawling in Morrowind or Oblivion before and had someone appear out of no where and scare the [cabbage] out of me. That happens a good deal.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem scarred the hell out me many a times.

exactly the same here

:XD:

Ha, I remember being about..five or six, watching my brother play Resident Evil 3 on PS1, the lights off, the television loud, late at night and the window open, i was scared out of my mind. I loved every minute of it though :D

Or when I used to watch my brother play RE2, and I remember the first time seeing the cutscene of Licker on the ceiling, I'm pretty sure I wet myself.

God I love Resident Evil.

Condemned, Doom 3 is a definite game that scared me, but the big one is F.E.A.R., god I rented it, had it for 5 days, played it for around 3 hours total, and returned it cause I was so scared :ohnoes:.

Final Fantasy VII - any time the Sephiroth theme music came on .

Young kid, dark, suddenly cold basement, scary music in what passed for surround sound in those days, engrossing (yet horrifying) cutscenes of Sephiroth killing, psychotically raving, and executing master plans of world domination.

Enough to scare the (fine I'll just say 'cabbage') cabbage out of me.

F.E.A.R. is so far the only game besides Half Life 1 to actually scare me. That little ghost girl scared the crap out of me many a time. Also the last cutscene at the end of the game was quite scary.

I must admit I've never played Resident Evil or Doom 3 though.

:ohnoes: All of the Silent Hill games scare the crap out of me play it in your house alone at the middle of the night :ohnoes:
