Baffler
And I'm excited, very excited. I was really worrying yesterday if my all 70 goal would totally mess up pk'ing. But now, it will help. Yeah, I haven't seriously pked or staked, but i want my stats to be good enough so that i can choose to if i want. Which meant i wasn't going to raise prayer. But now i will, once prices od drag bones stabilise. This means i wont have a goal like, "all 70+ stats except 52 pray  " Overall, i think it will give mains in the wild a better chance. Italian5kamikaze
Also how fast is the drain rate alone and when combined with the other prayers? Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
13_19_16
I'm not sure about Chivalry (haven't bothered using it), but Piety drains at the same rate as two of the 15% prayers at once. It also combines drain rates with other prayers exactly like two 15% prayers do (including overhead icon prayers - the KB messed up on that :XD: ). aussy4321
but wont change edge that much seeing as you cant smite with them on Not true, it is not one that appears above your head, it is the same as your melee bonus prayers. Well then it got updated because at first im pretty sure you couldnt smite or use a protection prayer while having one of them on but thanks for correcting me :) Quit. Harrington
I think it's going to be a nightmare for Abyss RCers now. They're already disadvantaged being basically unarmed, having zero prayer and skulled... but now they've got this to deal with. Nice one Jagex. GrimHams
It won't effect pures at all imo, considering most pures are 50-75 combat no mains have 60 prayer so it won't change pure pking. Having said this high level pking 110-126 combat will probably be dominated more by meleers.
meb
i have a feeling that the prayers will be used so much more in the wildy for high levels, but the large amount of lvl1 payer pures will class it as dishonorable to use simlarly to the use of teleports or other prayer really - anything a pure ranger/ddser cant use seem to be against the honor system :wall: It doesn't show up above your head so this will prolly result in a "omg chiv noob" as your opponent kneels for you. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. totalpwnage
This helps barrows pures/tanks, actually. The prayer requires 70 defence and 70 pray. I've seen screenies of 90s on players in the duel arena, max strength bonus, dbaxe special and stuff like that. 8% of 90 = 180/25 = 7.2 damage more, making the new max 97/98. No one will use this in the wilderness obviously, considering that lots of people have vengence and recoils, meaning that dharokers would own themselves by hitting a 97/98. Its not gonna happen because of the fact that they have to be 1 hp, and they'll just get hit a 74. In my opinion, it's just for higher leveled people, mainly 100+. The lowest level dharokers and stuff I see are in the high 80s. Being a pure with 4 defence, I actually kind of like the new update. It gives people with 70 defence the advantage they should have over 45 defence pures their level. EDIT: Deleted the section on max hits in CW or Undead, if you wish to know, its about 115/116 on undead. Forgot you can't use barrows sets in CW. Thanks to the poster below me for reminding me. Started free trade with 1.5m cash. 2 weeks later, have hit max cash 2x. But since this prayer doesn't show above your head, if they call you a pray noob lie and say you're just owning them really badly \ . Oh right, I forgot about that. I remember saying that yesterday, must have forgotten from the headache I had when I woke up (no hangovers, I swear >_>) I'll edit my post. Its not gonna be so awful for abby rcers, since melee isn't most dangerous for em...mage still owns em  Not quite true, mage is only used to bind+tb (or bind only if they're on ancients and not very experienced). They then rush in with a dds to do the actual killing part. At least, thats what every half competent abby pker I've met has done/tried to do. So the prayer will be awkward for us rcers, but hell i don't see it changing that much, even without it if you get snagged you're usually dead way before the bind wears off. The idea of high mage def on rcers is to stop them from keeping you stuck in the wilderness, not to defend you from the attack itself. It's to give you a chance to run the hell away from the (usually) dds they're about to kill you with.
Soulthresher
This is a great prayer update and hopefully people getting 70 prayer from 52 won't cry when I smite them  Using a super set, rune defender, climbing boots, zerker helm, and ammy of strength, I can hit 29s with a dds spec and 30s with a whip at 71 str. I wub you prayers \

Revenga
So, if it isn't an overhead prayer, then you can't stack it with Ultimate Strenght, Incredible Reflexes, and Steel Skin, correct? I was thinking about getting the following stats when I go P2P 70 att 70 def 70 strenght 70 prayer 85 magic 80 ranged ?? hp with the new update would this setup work even better? Kashi
Certainly it will be useful for training at Ape Atoll, if nothing else. :) Also, if the prayer drain rate is, say, half that of those other three prayers combined, then it'll be useful as hell. I mean, one prayer, instead of three, that has better boosts and doesn't drain your prayer as fast? Sounds pretty decent. My greatest ambition is to kill every member of the human race. However I am a realist and therefore know that I probably wont be able to.
Powman3
It's great for rune pures and up, but lower pures will get owned by it, seeing as their defense is low and the Knights decrease that when they atk :P The best I got to was the 124 :D
