Best Dance Track Ever?

Featured Replies

I was inspired to post this by hearing a track in a club tonight that I haven't heard for years. But when I heard it I thought 'Oh Yes! This was a killer'. The track I'm talking about is "I'm a Dreamer" by 'Living Joy' (those of you who are not of 'a certain age' probably won't remember it). I did a search for 'Best Dance Track' but the first two pages didn't meet the criteria of my question - one was a WOW thread???? (and who can be bothered to look further these days? - OK some but not me)... So what is your 'Best Dance Track Ever'?

I'll monitor this thread and if I get a good response, I'll put together a 'Best Dance Playlist Ever'

Edit - About to be moved/locked 'cos I've been reported....Must be wrong forum?

P.S. If you have views on a posted 'Best track' post 'em (or edit your own post) and I'll take them into account for the playlist.

Why is 'common sense' so named, when there is so little of it about?

Welcome to puberty, we've been expecting you.

With reference to my post, the kind of track you would hear in a club i.e. nightclub - where alcohol would be consumed... you get the picture.

That would be by Darude. Good call and first contender for the playlist.

Heh, I'm only 13 but at the party's I've been to (Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and stuff) the song "The Bad Touch" by Bloodhound Gang is played a lot.

"You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals, so lets do it like they do on the Discovery Channel"

^^

That chorus ALWAYS gets stuck in my head when I hear the song :P

Good track, but a bit more 'Pop' than 'Dance' I would say, but I am open to disagreement..

It is 'pop' lol :P

anyway dance music to me is boring...cant stand it at all.

'Pony' - Ginuwine.

'Kernkraft 400' - Zombie Nation

I could dance to that.

I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

If you're British and have posted on this thread- be ashamed.....

I'm American and I LOVE New Order!!!

New Order for best dance band and Blue Monday for best dance song.

Hi.

I'm british and have now posted on this thread. Why should I be ashamed?

Anyway I hate dance/trance/techno, I'm more into heavy/death metal

Jump Around -House of Pain

MY FAVORITE one-hit wonder, and dance ever. Just jump up and down with your body totally straight, while waving your hand straight up in down. :D

The Next Episode is my second favorite. :D

Oooh yeaa i second jump around, i forgot about that song.

Look its rob!

Minuit jacuzzi (DatA Remix) - TEPR

The Poison Fairy

Sandstorm is overrated. It's the biggest bandwagon of music.

This song doesn't necessarily make me want to dance, but it is one hell of a headbanger. Death Metal rules ::'

Black Seeds of Vengeance - Nile

Prodigy-out of space
