Rebdragon
Don't stress over it too much. The more you stress about it, the more obvious it'll be, and the more attention you'll attract - the wrong kind of attention if you get what I mean. It's just another small phase in your life - act accordingly. Best advice on this thread. Ya'll giving him specific guidelines for how to act seriously need to stop- it isn't really helping at all. Me, I went to a small middle school, and I currently go to a large all-boys High school, and the atmosphere is nothing like what all you describe (which comes with the lack of competitiveness for girls during school hours). There are no bullies, no cliques, no seniors-attacking-freshmen (though stories from other schools are quite funny), everyone is everything- smart, athletic (to some extent... :-# ), good natured, etc. Ya'll are acting like the human race is compiled completely of demons, which, although partially true, is far from the truth. Just relax and enjoy it :P . [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. darkmage099
Ok, I am going from 5th to 6th grade And I need help on how to survive it. It's a garentee I'm going into tag (tallented and gifted) And I need to know how to survive it. No flaming correcting spelling or grammer and No saying I"m to young to play runescape. What is this...RunEscape...that you speak of? START MATURING! Not physically, mentally. I swear, that is the easiest way to get through middle and high school. BE MATURE. Don't act like a 5 year old. ThurinEthir
It may be young, but if you're mature enough to play Runescape without making others realize how much the community is dead then I suppose it's ok. :-s . I don't know if this guy is... :-s Anyways...I agree with Azntemplar. Don't worry about it. The less you worry the better it'll be. Once you actually start middle school and have some problems, come back. I went to a middle school with 800-900 people...And I was a geek/nerd that got bullied...And I got straight A's...Yet I lasted easily. You say you're TAG, so grades should be no problem. As for bullies, ignore them and stick to your friends. (By the way...You can't spell yet you're in TAG? :-s ) Cenin pân nîd, istan pân nîd, dan nin ú-cenich, nin ú-istach.Ithil luin eria vi menel caran...Tîn dan delu. johntm
your american school system sounds really complex... In england you get Primary 4-12, Secondary 12-16. and thats it for compulsary education. and in england its G&T not T&G. anyway... its just school, play by the rules and you'll be absolutely fine. LOL cuz mericans be smert enuf to get that thur skewl sistym. Anyway my middle school had about 1183 kids last year. Just cuz ur smart dont act like a nerd. There was a hot, smart(oddly enough she was blonde...), popular in my 7th grade class.
runescape_rocks
Middle School is a joke. Have fun, don't do hw until the day it's due, don't study for tests. Nothing counts. Nothing will effect your future life. Colleges don't care. Middle School isn't really that bad, so don't stress about it.

You learn stuff in middle school that helps you in high school, if you learn nothing in middle school you know nothing when you get onto high school and well those freakin colleges do care about your High school GPA (grade-point-average). dude, dont listen to this junk about how you should be a fat lazy slug just having fun in middle school. Have fun, mature enough to realize you should pass your tests (hopefully you've already realized that), and dont make friends with the wrong people Thanks to the amazing talent of Jopie211 for the sig!Finest Fist of Guthix Strategy Guide
fakeitormakeit
Middle shool workwise was a piece o' cake. I'm only going into high school this sept. 7th but I remember 6th & 7th my funniest years! Except I went to a private school with only 150ish middle schoolers, maybe 500 students in all so I know nothing of bullying, although don't think private school kids are all sugar & honey. Riku3220
you realize your going to school with the SAME people right? if anyone is going to be a buly to you then it'll be someone who has always been a bully to you, and it isnt that hard when you pay attention. so what exactly are you afraid of? Kazel
Going from elementary school to middle school is like making the transaction from riding a tricycle to a bicycle. You might make a big fuss about it, but it's really no big deal. Even if all your friends moved away over the summer (but let's hope that doesn't happen  ) You'll still make new ones. Look at me, half the friends I have now were made in 6th grade! SLAYERGEEK
warren211
Don't stress yourself too much about it. I noticed that in several schools ive seen the 5th grade teacher is always the strict one, probably because in 5th grade you are between growin from a kid into growing into a teen. So since you survived fifth grade, you can surely survive 6th. There's hardly a difference where I come from. Just, as others say, stay out of the drama. Don't be a person you aren't just to be popular, be yourself. Stick with the friends you know best, dont go fooling with bad influences. 6th grade is usually where the hormones start pumping, so if you can survive that you can survive anything in middle school. where i come from, 6th grade is the start of jr high? [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Retefael
I envy you, friend. Middle school, for me, was so simple, but those were some good days. But believe, high school is much better. llamster
DO eat the cafeteria food, it's not that bad. ALWAYS stand up to bullies, no matter how big they are. The schoolwork isn't that bad, but always try to get good grades, even if that means studying  . Don't worry about popularity, it doesn't matter. You'll have fun, trust me. dberg20
I've just completed 8th grade and am going in to high school next year, which I can say is a heluva lot harder than middle school, considering there are teens that are feet above you, but I'm not really scared as even with my popularity I tend to stay under the radar with people I don't know or care to know. I'd suggest either option: 1) Stay under the radar: Basically have one or two other "geek" friends to hang out with 2) Become popular: Buy some new digs, get a haircut, make friends and make a few friends that are girls, this helps with popularity a lot And shan't we be over 13 while posting on forums/play runescape? Dude how about: - No posts containing no information. - Use some kind of spellcheck program, watching your writing is a pain. - No multiple question marks, that sounds moronic. You ask for advice and people give you but you start complaing how you're looking for something else? Last but not least. Loool. I was kidding anyway, post relevant posts (NO flaming my spelling OK?)
