Most likely macroers/farmers who ranged blue drags then traded them for rl money

why do they ban stakers?real life trading or what?i hear a lot of stakers getting banned and i always wondered why.

 

 

 

anyway it happened to 99 fisher but on a wider scale a whil ago when jagex banned hundreds of fishing macros.

 

 

 

statistically stakers are some of the highest rule breakers in the game...

 

 

 

"x-logging"

 

"baricade glitch"

 

"rule switching"

 

"guthix tea"

 

 

 

ect... all are reportable bannable offences that many many stakers take advantage of... Its going to happen when you are competeing for alot of money... Jagex normally nips these guys in the bud but it just doesn't stop the slew of people who think "its only for one stake, who will know?"

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If jagex isn't completely confident in their cheat identification program

 

 

 

then they should remove all safespots that you can get to with little or no risk. I'm not saying remove a daggonath safespot or dangerous safespots, but there are some spots just screaming "macro me"

Well I couldn't look up your stats on the rs main page... forum name and playing name aren't the same... But judging from the stats in your sig you don't range much... trust me... there would be rioting for days on end if jagex took out the ability to use a safe spot... Also by that last bit... which spots scream "macro me"

I fire maybe 50 bolts a day when pking and that is it for range lately. I was about 950 and struggling to stay in the top 1k, losing about 5 ranks a day even if I got a 200k exp boost it wouldnt last long. But in the last month my range rank has been slowly going up which I found odd. Thank god the little auto rangers in Ogre Enclave are finally getting banned.

Where did I say he was a moron because he doesn't agree with me? Multi-Logging is NOT perm-ban, and I'd say 90% of wealthy Stakers who are banned are banned for real-life trading via selling their winnings for real life currency, and you know what? My statistics are probably close to right.

To get rid of every single safe spot in the game would require a lot onf coding changes to change the path walking monsters do. Along with moving alot of obstacles. A high percentage of safe spots weren't designed to be safe spots, but they act that way, which in my opinion is fine.

Also, what do all people who rl traded say?

 

They dont have the stats to back up their cash so they say they staked or merchanted. Some of them arn't stakers, just claim it.

 

 

 

The duel arena is buggy as hell, so lots for bug abuse.

 

 

 

A lot of stakers buy irl cash after they get cleaned out to start up again.

 

 

 

A lot sell their winnings irl.

 

 

 

A lot share between two accounts.

 

 

 

Probably a bucketload of other reasons.

 

 

 

But back to the thread, it's goldfarmers beign banned most likely. I watched my fish rank flit between 125 and 140 and back again whilst i was on a fishing break.

My point was, that there was no need to laugh at him and call him a moron just because your statistics were a bit more right then his are. He makes a point with the multilogging, although you validly say that doesnt get you a permban.

 

And yes, the frase "doesnt agree with you" should have been replaced by "doesnt have the perfect statistics like you". My bad. Sorry.

I'm not really a range freak, so I wouldn't know. (agility is my stat :))

 

 

 

Still, it's great to see that Jagex is certainly taking action against these guys. I didn't realize that so many high levels did it, though.

All those blue dragon killing autoers or gold farmers have very high ranged lvls (many near 99 ranged). So this is very good news! Good job Jagex!

 

 

 

And also they got like 20Mil Ranged xp!

I'll keep an eye on my wc rank, see if the bans extend to all the bots, rather than just the range bots.

i 'met' three blue drag autoers with 99 range, two of them were ranked in the top 100, i know at least one, spaces235, got banned...

First, breaking enough rules will get you banned. Second, not everyone is a RWT. Yes some do, but most don't. Third, the flaming isn't called for.

 

2- Or that simple 8k xp was all you needed to outrank them

 

 

 

For that high of a rank, you need alot more than 8k xp to gain that many ranks. :roll:

 

 

 

Once in hunter there was 200xp from rank 40th to rank 1.

If all of them were bots, it's nice to know they are finally getting taken care of. I bet it feels great to see the cheaters get banned and your rank go up so quickly. I remember when my runecraft went up 4 ranks from rc bots getting banned, it was great. :D
