post your PRO'S and cons about it being bigger, personally i play on a wide screen monitor and lvoe it to be bigger ( size of most people's screen )

 

 

 

Edit: Ok i changed my mind.....full size of the browser would be better! Or, have it so it's full screen, however at the bottom is the little bar still so can visit different pages too, perhaps it hides except when you scroll over it.

You can switch tabs on Internet Explorer 7.0, so I would be able to browse while playing. :wink:

 

 

 

And you can change the size of the screen, just change the screen resolution. :-k

be nice, but all the extra visual information would mean the servers all need upgrades and the suprisingly large number of people on 56k modems would lagg so bad they'ed never be able to play. Even if it were an option I doubt the servers could handel clients that reqire at least twice (possibly 3 times) the visual data of the current RS client. Id rather it stay small then go to 10 fps (frames per second).

the good thing of it being small is that i can resize the window down and place it at one corner of my screen...

 

 

 

then use the rest to for other stuff.. like browsing forums, watching movies, chatting and so on.

I would want a bigger screen but not full screen unless they change the engine and graphics substantially.

I like doing homework while playing so nty. If Jagex puts runescape full screen then they will have to revamp the camera system too. Bigger screen means more room for camera.

 

 

 

Game is fine the way it is. Don't try to change things thats dont need changing.

Na maybe a little bigger but no more then another 5cm all the way around, full screen is stupid.

I like to study or read other things from the monitor as I play, makes both things way less tedious.

I find the tab switching much easier on Firefox... Much faster and works every time.

 

 

 

As for full screen, I wouldn't want full screen, it's already big enough, and if I want it bigger, I just have to switch to 800*600 resolution.

well not the entire screen, but a bit bigger would be pretty cool.

If runescape was full screen I coulden't load songs into my mp3 player while I play or post on tipit. There is not really any good points about a full screen runescape.

It definitely could use improvement in terms of resolution and size. The 2 computers I use are able to do so much more that the game takes up hardly any screen. My laptop is always set for 1680x1050 (yes, widescreen and 17 inch) and my desktop has dual monitors, both 17 inch at 1280x1024.

 

 

 

800x600 is just so small at those kind of resolutions. The game should be improved to 1024x768 at least, but server capacity and bandwidth are valid concerns for Jagex. But let's face it, the current size and resolution of the game screen might have been fine when RS2 came out, but it is way behind the technology curve at this point.

If you want it to be full screen, just set your resolution to 800*600 as so many people have said before me. I do that on both my computers and it works fine (although I do have fairly small monitors (my laptop is a 14 inch widescreen and my desktop has an old 13-inch :oops: :XD: )).

My brother done it once i forgot how to do it but its something 2 do with control panel and trust me. Its weird. So the answer is no

I play full screen sometimes, It's kinda boring though, Might be fun for dking or something...
