They're a bit crap, but I can see why people like them. Not a personal favorite but they're just like fall out boy, as much as you hate to admit it, the songs are fun to hum along to.

I saw them live on TV the other day and the singer was awful, he kept on running out of breath and screeching his voice for some odd reason.

 

 

 

The audience was full of 10-15 year old girl emo's so that may explain a few things.

One of my friends once tried to get me to like them. He played me a few songs and I said they wern't really my thing. So he told me I had bad taste in music. Now he is unemployed, uneducated and living off his mother in a [bleep]ty existance.

tbh i don't like the vast majority of Modern music (But i love Kasabian,there from my home town)

 

Most of it seens the same.

 

I prefer to live in a time warp with my 594 song playlist full of Old music.

 

But someday i Might turn on MTV (they still play actual music right?Not a load of terrible programs or something).But they don't really seem my type.

 

Their,IMO, Just another band that dragged itself from the cesspool of 90's alternative rock and jumped on the bandwagon of "Emo" Music.

 

They Might Have Potential but really I don't want to waste my time on a band i probabley won't like.

I don't like their old stuff but Black Parade was a good song and they certainly took a step in the right direction with that album.

 

 

 

Also, they are one of the worst live bands I've ever heard, I've never seen a good performance by them before. They are definitely a studio band.

I don't care about their image or anything, music is music, but I have never been a fan of rock/pop/metal and this sounds like everything else. Oh and I 'dislike' the emo hype.

Absolutely terrible music can't stand listening to it but maybe thats just because i like metal.

MCR is an okay band. I have a feeling they aren't gonna get too popular though. They'll probably try to change images again just like with Black Parade, but you know, we'll just have to see where it goes.

Gerard has changed it back to black. Hes had it like that for ages now. He only had blond for a few months...

They're not really bad. I've got a couple of their songs on my iPod. I can't say i like them either.

First heard them with Welcome to the Black Parade, on MTV. Then I heard it on the radio, that's what got me hooked.

 

 

 

I got my (sort-of-goth) friend hooked on MCR, you should see his iPod lol. I have 5 songs/videos from them.

They are too extreme, their music, their clothing.

 

They try to act as goths or metal heads, but they suck at it!

The more I listen to these guys, the more and more I love them.

 

 

 

I love the fact that they've all got character. Too many bands only have one person who stands out, but with MCR, they're all fantastic.

 

 

 

I really enjoy their videos as well. Black Parade is great, and that chick in I Don't Love you is captivating.

I love MCR but I've got to say The Black Parade was the absolute worst album they made. I'll crank the stereo to max when I play anything by them except most songs off The Black Parade.
