Combat or Skills or Both?

Featured Replies

Which do you prefer, skilling or combat, or a mix of the two?

Myself I prefer skills.

Doomy edit: I like sheep

When I played, i enjoyed skills, the only thing that would get me into combat was Slayer.

I enjoy both, but I do much more skilling. I used to only like ranging and maging, but slayer has caused me to come to like melee. Hitting high with a black mask is lots of fun.

I like to take a break from skilling with combat just for a change of scenery and to get slayer up :D

Despite All the time I have spent doing slayer, I think that I have spent a pinch more time working on skills.

However unless I have a quite good mix of both I will want to go Insane / Prolly take a break for a while.

I try to keep it fairly balanced. Also, I keep my combat balenced lol, with (other than prayer) my combat skills ranging from 74 all the way to 76 lol.

Thanks to Quarra for the awesome sig!

Xbox360 Gamertag = Tintin113

I prefer combat/slayer (50% of my overall exp is from combat, about 100m)

raising combat skills so when I do do pvp I own. And also so I can get skill capes.

whatcolor_isblue.jpg[r]

I only get combat to enjoy CW and to wear EVERYTHING

Otherwise Skills ftw!

I <3: both equally as well.

Here's an idea: calculate the amount of total experience you have from combat skills (HP included) and then get your total skill experience to compare with it.

Personally...

Skill XP: 13,417,690

Combat XP: 9,461,368

Combat LV: 91

Slightly more combat based than skill based, considering that the ratio for skill to combat is 16:3 :( .

I do both, because in some ways there is no point to one without the other.

'Nuff said.

Skills. Pure Skiller. Ftw!

I dont need a siggy no moar.

I like both but I train skills alot more... :-w

I like both, but I'm usually leaning towards skills.

Usually skills ....do combat to get slayer up, and I enjoy castle wars and do pest control once in a while and spend points on herb packs

mak_1027.png

Both, kinda rare these day to see someone that is not a skiller or pker or pure, etc. I'm just a normal runescape player ^_^.

oie_080707215636np9.png

A mix for sure. 8-) My skiller pure is 9 combat lol

Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

The way I see it, combat is still skills so I do both. They benifit each other, there is no point neglecting combat or non-combat.

Short and simple~ BOTH! :D

skills but my combat is high from slayer but i like mage and range

but

skills <3: > combat

anyday ::'

skills! i like mage tho. i only train my cb skills for slayer
