As i was training on lessers today, I realized something. Free world has almost no monsters that you can make good cash off of. So here's what I suggest: F2pers should have green dragon spawns in all the places that members have in wildy. They will not drop bones or hides (so no guaranteed drops), and all p2p drops will stay p2p. They will be non-agressive, so no one wanteding into wildy will be one-hit with drag breath. Dragon shields will still have their partial protection, so these will truely be monsterfor high lvls to kill. Before members start complaining about this, remember that we won't get three main bebefits you have against green dragons: drag bones, green hides, and antifire pots. The main reason people will be tempteed to kill these is for the challenge, and for the addy and rune drops. The Stronghold was an okay update, and some of the monster were quite strong, by their drops were abysmal. Come on, lvl 70+ monster with no drops or only bones? And the ankous' best drops being 6-12 addy arrows and laws? This is the ideal high level challenge monster that f2p needs!

This is a pretty good idea. Even though I couldn't take advantage of it, it finally adds a high-level monster to F2P...

I'm not liking this idea. Prayer is in bad need of an update on F2P (which semi-rare drops of Dragon bones would severely fix), as well as an update should be placed to be able to provide members with crafting parts to get lowered prices for Green D'hide Items... Dropping prices in F2P like mad and such is the only way we're gonna get rid of the autoers at this point.

 

 

 

I don't support unless Bones and Hides are made available as drop items. I'm sorry, but if you want to kill autoers, then what I have said is the only way to go about it.

No need, even with no decent drops, they are easier than greater demons yet would still give better drops than them. Just stick to what us non-members already have.

There's the current maximum drop in F2P (rune full helm) but the rune kiteshield would be a new addition that is probably right to be put in as a drop but not on such a weak monster. They would have to be from something harder than a greater demon and I just can't see a monster more powerful being put into non-members. The dragons also seem to drop other valuable items to produce profit for killers which is not shown in other monsters.

Two things, Mrmyk. Green dragons aren't easy. Their melee max is 8, just one below that of greaters, and when they use firebreath, free players are guaranteed to take some damage becasue we don't have antifire pots (I know that they can hit at least 6 with firebreath against d shield). Plus the food we would be using would be swordies at best, as opposed to monkfish or sharks
