time2quit
The current situation can't continue, 4 gp for a bolt that especially on sub lv 100 monsters hits hard and fast (ish) in unlimited supply just can't go on. So how can jagex fix it? the problem is supply, there are now sooo many of these bolts in circulation that i doubt a mere price hike will do much to hurt them. So im guessing a nerf on the bolts or bow will happen. What do you think? Even think jagex will bother? Should jagex even bother? Imo, i recon they will slow the speed and nerf the power. Wachtwoord
Make them more expensive, they're ridiculously cheap at the moment. 25-50 ea seems a normal price to me for such a good training weapon. I'm actually against nerfing, I don't mind there is a good alternative for the MSB, if bronze arrows stay 7ea, they'll be a good competitor for 25-50ea bone bolts. Lunar_Drifter
I hate the word nerf. It really irks me because people throw it around to and fro without a care at all for the word... it really overdid it. Kind of like the word noob. But I think bone bolts are great. Jagex should not change their stats at all, nor how hard they hit. It was about time for another method of training Ranged. Retired Tip.It Mod || Admin and Founder of Caesar 3 Mod Squad! krisc6
Raising the price will slowdown if not stop them coming into the game and after a while i can see these dissapearing because this is having an effect on monster drops too.People are buying 100's of thousands of these and camping out at caged greaters and racking up loads of rune stuff so i can see them leaving rs very quickly. They just increased the power of crossbows to give them the armour piercing nature and power they should have always had but now theyve added bone bolts which basically means now theyve not only given them power advatages over normal bows but given them a cost advantage which the bows orriginally had. Expect them to raise the price when they next have a system update
Lunar_Drifter
But we've just had crossbows, void knight sets and chinchompas! Isn't that enough change for you? The crossbow update kind of went hand-in-hand with this one. Void Knight is generally for the higher leveled and/or dedicated Rangers. And chinchompas are for the rich guys. Bone bolts are for the money-conscious consumer. Retired Tip.It Mod || Admin and Founder of Caesar 3 Mod Squad! All are welcome!

splatmster24
do not nerf the crossbow. that would be pointlees, all it would do is make another completly useless quest weapon to take up space in your bank, no better than silverlight or the wolfbane dagger. the cost, ay, it can go up. but no nerf. Say what you mean and mean what you say because those that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter.

nicrune007
Refunding 4 gp for every bone bolt you have and making them 30 gp each seems good. But it wont happen. Hey Nicrune007 , Whats Your Username? 99 Ranged on 2/6/07 99 Hit Points on 9/5/08 99 Defense on 26/4/08 99 Attack on 14/2/09 99 Strength on 25/2/09 99 Slayer on 13/9/09\:D/
wild_goat_14
Raise em to 12gp then  I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree. PFJ
Making the bolts worse is un-doable. There would be far too many complaints from people who've spent millions on them, including myself. They should--if anything--raise the price to a decent amount. Siggy By...me! ^^ If you've got any tips on sig making, photoshop in general, or a recommendation on a good DSLR to get me started, pm me =]
Pan_Nx
Keep them how they are imo, they arent ruining range training, just making it a bit easy and affordable. If they were going to make the price high, they should have done so in the beginning.

iwatake
But wait.... Aren't bone bolts equivilent to like bronze bolts? Edit, looks like they are equivilent to iron bolts. KB says the bone crossbow fires up to "iron/bone" bolts. I think they are, and if so, the range shop in Varrock carries infinite bronze bolts. bored321
tbh, bone bolts aint a problem imo. Ranged has already been ruined with the release of chins making range basically buyable. Atleast with bone bolts it takes some time. So what if there 4gp ea! Thanks Gradeskip93 for my awesome sig!
