What does dropping the boots doing? I got like 7 boots, 3 hats and 2 leggings. I just keep them in my bank. Is that bad? Dust runes->hometele->altar to Canifis pub. If you have a full set and keep it in the bank you won't get anymore lumberjack pieces.You either have to store it in your house or do as I did. I took the boots with me,so that the game thinks I don't have a complete outfit, by dropping them when the zombies came out of the water.Seeing as you don't have a full set you can leave the parts in the bank. I hope they multiply existing Tokkul then. It already is easier to get TokKul. Fire Runes sell for 10 to 5 TokKul each. All Obsidian items sell for roughly half the shop price now. Rien Posted September 4, 2009 Share Posted September 4, 2009 :lol: :wall: I can practically guarantee that TB will have as few dedicated players as ever within the next two weeks; by then, the flood of people who've come to exploit the recent price reductions (not that I can blame them) will have purchased the rewards they're interested in keeping and have left. This is the first update in quite awhile that I've completely disagreed with, as it royally screws over the few dedicated players of the mingame while offering no long-term benefits in return. I was previously in favour of reducing the prices of the rewards by as much as half of their original values, but only on the condition that the "buckets of water" abuse would be put to an end. I can remember suggesting on the RSOF, at one point, to implement a cap of 100 items for each ingredient that could be held by the hoppers at any one time, but nothing came of it (it's perfectly reasonable, to be honest, since the boilers have a cap of 10 logs which can be held at once, and implementing the change would solve the problem of having players abandon necessary tasks to max out the bonus incentive). If this had been done, TB would have been much more enjoyable while still being balanced. However, Jagex decided to nerf the prices to hell without considering the consequences or even bothering to make a relatively simple addition to improve gameplay while they were at it. Sure, they'll get away with what they've done, but only because the loyal TB player-base is so small. If they had attempted to pull this crap with Castle Wars, you can be sure that an incredible number of players would be up in arms about it, and they'd be more or less forced to take it back. Change is inevitable, yes, I understand. The game will inevitably become easier as time goes on and better/more efficient methods to play are released. However, Jagex crossed the line with this update, and the sad part is that so few people I've talked to even care. Seriously, nerfing the TB rewards to 1/10th of their previous value? What the hell? They've doomed Trouble Brewing to perpetual insignificance; players can now obtain all of the rewards offered within a day or two and completely forget about it afterward. It has truly joined the ranks of the "dead" minigames with this, and I can't even begin to describe what a shame that is to me. :| Interested in helping the Tip.It Crew?
