Hmm well there is over 180k players online, jagex is still updating the game weekly, i still see players walking around, and well this is a fantasy game so its not really involved with reality. So please tell me again how is it dead?

As for Jagex, if you mean the staff, they're probably still alive. I haven't heard about any of their deaths recently.
