Internet Acceptable Use Policy

Posting information or content in any form on the Internet constitutes acceptance of and agreement to the Net Authority Internet Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Thou shalt not post pornographic material.

There is a common misconception that pornography is limited purely to images or textual descriptions of an explicit sexual nature. This is not the case. Anything that can evoke impure thoughts in the mind of the beholder is pornographic.

2. Thou shalt not post hateful material.

Any material that promotes or inspires hatred or violence towards any other person or group of people is strictly forbidden.

3. Thou shalt not post blasphemous material.

Any material that would lead one astray from the righteous path of the one true God must not be permitted on the Internet. These days children are gaining access to the Internet at younger and younger ages̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ã

5. Thou shalt not post materials concerning bestiality, including interracial relationships.

God did not intend for different species or races to intermingle sexually. Any content that contradicts this natural law, directly or indirectly, is strictly forbidden.

TIF breaks 2 and 3 on occasions. Especially on OT. Though I'm glad to see TIF have taken measures to stop these occurrences by the banning of Tigra.

May Net Authority take strong action against such disregard of their rules. :P

Why doesn't their own website have the "offender" banner on their site for bad language?

Net Authority is a parody web site created in 2001 by Rudis Muiznieks which pretends to be a Christian Internet censorship site for recording and tracking other web sites containing offensive content. Net Authority includes the "Internet Acceptable Use Policy" which prohibits sites containing pornographic, hateful or blasphemous material and sites containing "bestiality, including interracial relationships". Users may easily submit websites themselves, which will automatically be added to the database, with the exception of Net Authority's own site.

Notable victims of the spoof include The Register in 2001 and The Now Show in 2007.

It may be Wikipedia, but I think it suits the purpose enough...

Was putting bestiality and interracial relationships on the same level necessary?

Read between the lines, they think that other races are "animals" or "not human."

4. Thou shalt not post materials of an offensive political nature.

I'm guessing that means everythign that isn't aligned with White-Conservative-Evangelical Christian philosophies?

I think they meant interracial to mean between species. After all, we are the Human Race. If they meant color, they would have said ethnic.

But it says for different species or races. If they were meant as the same, they would have only said one. So...the point of this whole thing is what now? And Tigra was banned? When? Why? Where do you guys find this stuff out, seriously, I always hear from a post commenting on, "since he/she was banned...". :wall: And is this what Lionhart was referring to in the "OMG SHUT UP!!" thread?

Funny thing, I was reading this, then I came across 'Lionheart'. I had to take a double take on that. Then I read every user who posted, and figured you were talking about me. No this is not the list, I can give you 'the' list if you wish for it, just pm me :D
