1.0 - Introduction

Hello Boys and Girls this is My Guide to Achieving the Skill Capes. This is my second guide ever (first being my F2p Range Guide). Hopefully you will find much benefit from my guide.

__________________________________________________________________________

[hide=2.0 - Attack, Strength, Defense, Hitpoints and Slayer]Slayer Skill Information: Slayer is a members only skill introduced to the game on January 26, 2005. The main benefit to slayer is that you can attack monsters you couldn't previously. Also you will gain access to new items. Slayer Masters are located in Burthrope, Morytania, Edgeville Dungeon, Zanaris and Shilo Village, each caters to different combat levels. You can also find them by the "slayermastericonec0.gif" icon.

Lvls 1-20(all except slayer): Men and Women

080721132012vv5.png

Once you are ready, head to the red dot in the above image, kill the men and women inside the building. Keep going until 20 Attack, Strength,Defense and Hitpoints. Note: You will probably get over 20 hitpoints.

Lvls 20-40(all except slayer): Rock Crabs

080721132729jv4.png

Head to the red dot on the map (relleka is north of camelot). Kill them until 40 Attack, 40 Strength, 40 Defense and 40 Hitpoints. Note: You will probably get over 40 hitpoints.

Lvls 40-99:Time for Slayer

This is were I recommend starting slayer, you may start sooner or later if you want.

Recommended Monsters to Burothope:

Steel Dragons

Bronze Dragons

Jungle Horrors

Kurasks

Turoths

Gargoyles

Spiritual Rangers

Spiritual Warriors

Warped Terrorbirds

Warped Tortoises

Want to use your Dwarf Cannon? Try these:

Black Demons

Dust Devils

Trolls

Daggannoths

Kalphites

More Methods

Not a fan of slayer? No problem! Try some of these methods.

Yaks

080721142007cr2.png

You must have complete part of "Fremennik Trials" in order to access Neitiznot. To get to Neitiznot, take the ship from Relleka. Yaks are located at the red dot in the above image.

Estimated EXP Per H: 30k-70k

Monkey Guards

080721144725es5.png

How would you like unlimited Prayer? Training at Monkey Guards is just that! All that is needed is some parts of the Monkey Madness quest completed. If you have complete Monkey Madness you should know how to get there, if that's not the case, it's located at the red dot on the image above.

Estimated EXP Per H: 30k-60k

Bandits

080721160005zk6.png

One of the most popular training spots in all of RuneScape. So be warned that you will spend a lot of time just world hopping for open spots. The main reason that bandits is so popular is because it does not require much attention as well as good exp. You must be wearing a god item if you want them to constantly attack you though. The training spot is located at the red dots.

Estimated EXP Per H: 40k-60k[/hide]

[hide=3.0 - Ranged]Skill Information:

Ranged is a F2p and P2p skill. Most players like the ranged skill because you can attack without taking damage by using obstacles. You can buy ranged equipment at any shop with the "archeryshopuc2.gif" icon.

1-20: Cows

080803130457xt9.png

Get some bronze knives from the Grand Exchange or make them yourself and depending on your defence level, food (nothing fancy, trout will do). If worst comes to worst, you can grab some raw meat from your kills and cook it at the house west of the pen (purple circle). If you want to, you can try standing near the blue square for a safespot. I do not recommend banking the cowhides as it will greatly slow your training down.

20-30: Rock Crabs

080721132729jv4.png

Head to the red dot on the map (Relleka is north of Camelot). You are going to use bronze knives again, so pull those out.

Exp Per Hr: 15k-25k

30-60: Caged Ogres

080803140407qf1.png

You can only use this after complete Biohazard. If you haven't completed Biohazard, I strongly recommend you do it. It's a pretty easy quest and shouldn't take you much time. I recommend using Iron Knives for these. Bring a few low leveled food as you can get attacked by ogres when retrieving your knives. Also, I wouldn't bother with a cannon, you won't be getting enough exp. for your money.

Exp Per Hr:25k-35k

60-99: Fire Giants

080803143616wt1.png

This is one of my favorite training spots in RuneScape, the only pro is that it can often be quite crowded so world hopping may be needed and if you haven't defeated the Waterfall Quest, you'll need to do that. If you are really going for it, I recommend stocking up on games necklaces. You will use the game necklaces to teleport to Barbarian Outpost and travel to the falls from there. Before you go, make sure you have a rope, Glurial ammy (before you open the door!) and I like to take Nature runes and a fire staff so I can alch my drops. You may also like to bring a bit of food because they can hit you every once and a while. I like to train on these with Broad Bolts and a rune c'bow, Broad Bolts can be purchased from the GE for around 80 gp each. If that's not your kind of training weapon, once again, use knives. When you enter door, go to the left room of fire giants instead of the middle, this way you can use safespots. There is several safespots throughout the left room, my personal favorite is the chair.

Exp per hr: 30-45k

More Methods

Didn't care for some of the above methods? No worries! Try some of the below.

Yaks

080721142007cr2.png

You must have complete part of "Fremennik Trials" in order to access Neitiznot. To get to Neitiznot, take the ship from Relleka. Yaks are located at the red dot in the above image. I recommend using knives for these. There is safe spots, but sometimes I find myself not using them due to Yaks being weak.

Estimated EXP Per H: 30k-40k

Avianses

Avainses are located in God Wars Dungeon (GWD). I do not recommend these if you do not have 47+ prayer and 70+ Range. They fly so you cannot attack them with melee, you may only attack them with range or mage. To get in this section of GWD you need 60 agility or 60 strength, in addition, you must have the Troll Stronghold quest complete (quest is required for all sections of GWD). My recommended gear is as follows:

  • Trimmed skillcape > God cloak > Ava's Accumulator

God Mitre > Neitiznot Helmet > Initiate/proselyte Helmet

    Monk robe top

Armadyl Legs > Black dragonhide/3a Ranged > Penance Skirt

Ranger boots > White boots > Snakeskin boots > Bandos boots

Zamorak Book > Guthix Book > Saradomin Book > White Shield

Barrows Gloves > Black D'Hide vambraces > White Gloves

Archer Ring > Ring of Life

God Stole > God symbol > Amulet of Fury > Glory amulet

Rune c'bow and Emerald (e)/Addy/Mith bolts > Bone c'bow and Bolts

Estimated EXP Per H: 20-35k

Estimated Money Gain Per H: 250k-500K

Slayer

A lot of slayer tasks are ranging, so if nothing else, do some slayer.[/hide]

[hide=4.0 - Prayer]Skill Information:

The Prayer skill is available to both F2p and P2p. I find Prayer to be a very helpful skill. It's mainly used for Clan Wars and Monster Hunting.

There is no required level to bury any bones so it completely depends on how much money you are willing to spend. Therefore, every method I list will not have "Level X-X". The listed methods will be in order of cheapest to most expensive.

Killing for Bones

Kill anything, yes anything at all, then after they are dead, bury their bones. You will find the beginning pray levels are best used in sync with your other combat training. I'll list some recommend for each bone though.

Small Bones - Cows (Lumbridge), Goblins (Lumbridge)

Big Bones - Fire Giants (Waterfall/Chaos Tunnels), Hill Giants (Varrock dungeon) and Moss Giants (Varrock Dungeon).

Baby Dragon Bones - Baby Blue Dragons (Taverly Dungeon)

Dragon Bones - Blue Dragons (Taverly Dungeon/Hero's Guild), Black Dragons (Evil Chicken Lair).

Dragon Bones with Gilded Altar

Before starting, please know that this is a expensive method, costing more than 2Mil an hour(if done correctly). This is really the only efficent method there is, ectofuntus is just too slow for your time. Ok, now go purchase some Dragon Bones from Grand Exchange (or use your own if you have them). Now you should search the official runescape forums for Open Altars (unless you have your own gilded altar and are willing to spend money on marentills). Make sure the hosting person has a guiled altar, incense burners and their house is located in Yanille (I recommend that yours is as well). If your house is in Yanille, bring a dueling ring (unless they have a glory on their wall) and runes for house teleport (tabs are better if you have them). Now head into the players house and use their bones on the altar (make sure incense burners are on) when all bones are gone, teleport to Castle Wars. Now bank and teleport to your house (which should be in Yanille), leave your house, enter theirs. Repeat. Now the other way you can do it is walking from host's house to the Yanielle bank, and bank. Again, I do not recommend this as teleporting is much quicker.

Tip: Use a familar that can hold items for better exp. (My personal favorite is Spirit Terrorbird)

Exp Per H: 330k-350k[/hide]

[hide=5.0 - Magic]Skill Information:

Magic, like ranged, can be used with "safespots". Magic is available to F2p, and is often used in Bounty Hunter, clan wars, and monster hunting.

Level 65: Lunar Diplomacy (5,000 xp)

Level 65: Dream Mentor (10,000 xp)

Level 66: Swan Song (15,000 xp)

1-13: Striking on Cows

For these levels you will be using Air, Water, Earth strike. I recommend buying a staff for each elemental instead of wasting runes (including fire, as you will be using that later). Gather some runes through the Grand Exchange or by runecrafting them yourself. Let's start on Cows..

080803130457xt9.png

If you want to, you can try standing near the blue square for a safespot. I do not recommend banking the cowhides as it will greatly slow your training down.

15-45: Fire Strike on Guards

080804111300hj4.png

We are now going to use fire strike on the guards in Edgeville. As long as you keep the gate closed, you will not need food. Stand near the blue square to kill, the guards will be located near the red circle.

45-55: Fire Strike on Lesser Demons

You probably got tired of killing Guards so we are going to finish the last 10 levels at Lesser Demons. My favorite place to kill lesser demons is in the Karamja Volcano. There is several safespots within that room, so try experimenting with the rocks to find one that you like. If you find either to be too crowded, head past the skeletons and go up the climbing rope. You are now on Crandor, head north and you should see two lesser demons. Once again, Experiment with the surroundings to find a solid safespot.

55-99:High Alchemy

No surprise, huh?

Best Items to Alch: (Note: cheapest items are listed first)

Blue Bodies

Green bodies

Magic longs

Yew longs

Want to make money while you alch? Here's a tip (you must have Lunar Diplomacy complete):

Grab your seal of passage and alching gear, then head to Relleka. Get on the ship, but do not go to Lunar Isle. On the ship there is a barrel of tar you can gather stackable swamp tar from. Every time it spawns, take it. Do not alch the tar, sell it in the GE. You shouldn't lose much magic exp by doing this, you should be getting around 90k per hour though.

Exp Per Hr: 65k - 70k

More Methods

86-99: Plank Make

If the market is running right, this method can be better than High Alching, on average you'll be looking at a small loss per hour. You must be on the Lunar Spell book to do this spell. It may take a while, but purchase some mahogany logs from the GE and plank make them. Sell the planks. Again, it may take a while to sell.

Exp Per Hr: 85k-90k

68-99: Humidify

Yet another spell that requires the lunar spellbook. This method is for those who want to make some money from magic. You'll only be making around 200k per hour though, which is why I do not recommend this. If this floats your boat, then grab some empty vials. What you are doing is just using the spell on the empty vials, which will turn them to water filled vials. You can sell these on GE for your profit.

Exp Per Hr: 30k

80-99: Stunning

This method is expensive, but quick exp expect to lose about 400k per hour. You should get a mud staff before starting this. Just pick a monster and keep using the stun spell. One thing that is nice about this method is that you do receive hitpoints experience.

Exp Per Hr: 100k

80-99: Pest Control

This is the best exp in the game. Again, it's very expensive though, costing more than 1 mil an hour. The method is just barraging in pest control and using your points towards mage. Pretty simple.

Exp Per Hr: 100k[/hide]

Note: Always use abyss pouches for faster training.

1-9: Air Runes

080809163903up9.png

The altar is located near the red circle. Make sure you have a air tiara and rune ess(not pure). These levels should fly.

9-14: Earth Runes

080809165555fl0.png

Altar is located near the red circle. Make sure you have your earth tiara and rune ess(not pure). You should find these a bit quicker than air runes. (Tip: use varrock TTabs to speed up the exp)

14-44: Fire Runes

Again, make sure you have a fire tiara and rune ess (not pure). Buy dueling rings, teleport to duel arena, go into the fire altar and craft your runes then use the ring to castle wars so you can bank. Repeat.

Exp Per Hr: 14k-17k

44-54: Nature Runes

Graahk runecrafting has replaced the abyss for nature runes. The only downside is that you must have 57 summoning. I have not done Graahk rcing before I was just told that they were better. After I experiment, I will expand this part.

Note: There is nothing wrong with using the abyss for natures, it's just not as fast.

I need to do some experiments on RCing before I continue since I really haven't runecrafted since the ZMI update. There's also more methods I would like to look into before giving a straight path.[/hide]

Cold War (1,500 xp)

Catapult Construction (15,000 xp)

Tip: By making the planks yourself you won't be saving any more than 200k an hour. I recommend doing something like abyss runs instead. Doing that, you get skill exp, and you are making more money.

1-9:Chairs

For this you will need a Hammer, Saw, Nails, Money and regular planks. For getting regular planks, you can try GE, but it's going to be a long wait. You are not going to be doing this long, so just make them yourself.

9-20:Larders

Basically the same as chairs, but you are using more planks at a time. Some more good news, nails are not required!

20-31:Oak Tables

The same method as chairs and larders, but they are oak tables. I recommend buying the planks at this point. Make these until 31.

31-33:Oak Carved Tables

Same as oak tables, but better exp because you are using more planks at a time. Do these until 33.

33-73:Oak Larders

These are great exp, yet expensive, you are going to lose a little more than one mil an hour. Bring noted oak planks with you to your house. Use your oak planks on the butler or your servant (get the best you can), and use them on him. He will return with them unnoted, you then build oak larders, then use the noted planks on him, repeat.

Exp Per Hour: 170k (if using above method)

73-99:Oak Dungeon Doors

Again bring noted oak planks for this, and basically just do what you did for larders. All the is different in this method is that you MUST be using a demon butler. I've done tests, and in my opinion it is worth the extra pay.

Exp Per Hour: 220k (Loss is around 1.5m)[/hide]

Exp per hr: I've been told 8k, but I cannot guarantee that is accurate.

25-43:Skull Ball

080816163403vj6.png

Required: Priest in Peril and Creature of Fenkenstrain (ring of charos)

The play of this is kinda like a mini game rather than a course. The basic object is to get the skull through the legs of the skeletons and into the goal. Kinda hard to get used to, but once you do, it's pretty easy.

Exp per hr: 15k

43-52: Brimhaven Agility Arena

080816163446ur9.png

Not a huge upgrade from Skullball, but I find this much more fun. 200 GP is required to enter the arena. I would try to get the highest achievement gloves you can as this does make your exp per hour higher. The concept is easy, just chase the arrow to the pillar it's pointing to and tag the pillar for a ticket (or a green light if you don't have it yet).

Exp per hr: 19k

52-64:Wilderness Course

080816165359lu2.png

Blue = Path for mage bank Red = Path from ardy switch

People have been saying this course is nerfed due to revanants, it's not. Yes, it is harder, but you will still be getting about 10k per hr more than what you would be getting from brimhaven. Bring some decent food, a knife (webs), and your best dragon hide armour. Once you get in the course, run down the ladder towards the south part of the course. World hop. You'll need to do this a few times throughout you're training (I prefer around 3 times a hour).

Exp per hr: Around 30k (depends on your luck with revs)

64-99:Ape Atoll Course

080816171327qk4.png

You must do Monkey Madness and have a ninja (big or small) gree gree to do this course, ape atoll teleport is highly recommended (reward from RFD).

Exp per hr: 56k

More Methods

Dorgesh-Kaan Course

Note: This is only recommended if you are 85+. 70+ range and death to the Dorgeshuun quest must be complete.

The reason that this isn't #1 is because of the fact that it is pretty annoying at times. Also, you'll use about 800k more than you would doing Ape Atoll (super energy pots).

Exp per hr: 61k[/hide]

Go to the Grand Exchange and buy water filled vials, cleaned guams, and eye of newts (around 1200 of them). Then make the attack potions (all of this shouldn't take more than 2 hours). Sell the attack potions over GE (be patient, it may take a few days).

Buy rannar and snape weed from the Grand Exchange (or gather your own snape weed) and make your pray pots. Shouldn't be very hard to sell these on GE.

Buy some irits and eye of newts from Grand Exchange, make the potions, and sell them.

1-45: The Sorceress' Garden

081130165145az9.png

This is really fast and is by far the fastest method for these levels. All you need is a pestle and mortar and glasses (you can get these from the shelves). Talk to Osman by the bank in order to start the minigame. (Osman is at the minigame symbol north of the bank, the actually game will be the minigame symbol in the southeast corner)

45-91: Blackjacking

081130170738hu3.png

Required: The Feud Quest

For these levels you will be knocking out bandits. ALWAYS USE A MAPLE BLACKJACK. You can obtain a maple blackjack from either buying it from Ali-Morrisane (Rouge Trader) or buying it from GE. Now that you have the gear, head into one of the houses at Pollnivneach with bandits. What you will do is this...

[step 1] Knockout Bandit

[step 2] Pickpocket

[step 3] Pickpocket

(note: right-click for the options and remember to be quick)

If you happen to fail at knocking out the bandit, try to knock him out again before he starts attacking you or he will attack you and you will have to leave the area.

One last thing.. there are three types of bandits, you will be switching between them as you level.

[45 Thieving] Bandits (level 41)

[55 Thieving] Bandits (level 55)

[65 Thieving] Menaphite Thug

All of these will be found in Pollnivneach.

Exp Per Hr 70k-95k per hour | 85k-120k per hour | 160k-240k per hour

91-99: Pyramid Plunder

081201182506yn2.png

If you don't have a Pharaohs sceptre, BUY ONE. It's not more than 400k and you can resell it when you are done. This teleports you directly to Pyramid Plunder. You can re-charge it by using the gold items you recieve from the game. I also highly recommend doing the quest "Contact!", this gives you a bank right next to the minigame (if you don't, use a ring of dueling and teleport to castle wars to bank. Then teleport back to Plunder with sceptre).

For your inventory have the following:

3 (4) Super Antipoison potions

2 (4) Super Energy potions (Optional but recommended)

Rest of the Inventory should be monkfish

For equipped items, just wear light weight equitment (boots of light, glory, etc.).

Now here's how you should play..

Speed through the first 6 rooms without checking anything, just get to the next level. In room 7, check for snakes on all of them. In room 8 (last room), search each.

Note: Use the official Plunder world so you can go through each room faster (easier to find doors).

1-10: Cowhides

Buy around 100 Cowhides, tan them into soft leather then craft them into the highest item you can. (should be gloves, boots, and cowls).

10-38/63: Spinning Flax

2ihs57a.png

Buy the flax or pick it yourself (i would buy it, you'll make it back anyway). The fastest place to spin is the above (Neitiznot). Take the boat off Fremennik to get there. You do need to do parts of the Fremennik Isles quest to use Neitiznot. If you have not done the quest, use the Lumbridge Castle.

Exp per hour: Around 20k

38-63: Coifs

You will be making these out of cowhides. Buy them from the Grand Exchange or get them yourself (I recommend buying them). Tan the cowhide into soft leather and then create coifs. (Use Al-Kharid tanning)

Note: this step can be skipped if you prefer to continue with spinning flax.

63-99: Green Dragonbodies

Gather green dragonhide by either killing for it or buying in Grand Exchange. I do recommend buying it already tanned but only if you have a decent way of making money (your going to lose around 1mil a hour, so enough to recover for that).

Exp per hour: Tanning them: 105k | Buying Tanned: 250k

More Methods

Continuing with Hides until Green DBodies

More expensive but it will be a lot quicker.

Jewelry

Combine this with magic and it's not too bad. You'll have to gather gems though.

Blue D'hide Bodies

I don't recommend this at all. Green bodies are fast as it is and you aren't getting your money worth out of the extra exp here.

Exp per hour: Tanning them: 130k | Buying Tanned: 280k[/hide]

1-10: Arrow Shafts

Get a knife and a axe then go to a place with a lot of normal trees, cut them then use knife on logs.

10-20:Normal Longbows(u)

Same as shafts, but this time make longbows.

20-25:Oak shortbows (u)

Same as normal longs, this time get oak logs though.

25-40:Oak Longbows (u)

Same as normal longs, but use oak logs this time.

40-70:Willow Longbows (u)

Same as all the other longbows, just buy some willows this time.

70-85:Yew Longbows

This time it is not the same, because after cutting them you will be stringing them as well. Stringing is not hard though, just use a bowstring on a yew longbow (u) and you will get a yew longbow. Quickest way is to have 14 bowstrings and 14 yew longbows in your inventory when starting.

Exp Per Hour: 150K

85-99:Magic Longbows

Same concept as Yew longbows, but this time your doing it with Magic logs.

Exp Per Hour: 180k-200k

More Methods

Arrow Making

Best for levels 30-70

Buy a good sum of arrowheads and headless arrows from the GE. Once you are finished, sell your arrows in the GE. Before it's all said and done with, you will lose around 2 mil with this method.

Exp Per Hour: 180k

Diamond Tipped Addy Bolts

Best for levels 70-99

What you'll need: Feathers, Addy bolts and diamond tips

This can be pretty hard because you have to do a lot of buying and selling. I don't recommend it because it costs a lot more than the regular methods and those methods are already quick and requires a lot more focus than regular.

Exp Per Hour: 240k[/hide]

[hide=13.0 - Hunter]Lvls 1-9:The Crimson Swift

First head over to the Adrougne Hunting shop and buy some Bird Traps (three should be good), now to start hunting. We will be starting with Crimson Swifts in the Jungle Area. Lets use our gnome glider to get to feldip hills, if you don't have that try using Fairy ring code C K S to get there (providing that you have access). Now if you do not have the ability to use either just simply walk south of Yanille until you reach the birds. Once we reach Crimson Swifts lay out your bird trip and wait until you catch it. Keep catching swifts until level 9 hunter.

Lvls 9-19:The Copper Longtail

Now time to move on to the woodland areas were we will catch Copper Longtails. The woodland area is located just south of the Fishing Colony and northwest of the Gnome Stronghold, if you have the ability of using the fairy ring use code A K Q. Now once we reach the Copper Longtails lets set up our traps like we did for the crimson swifts. Keep doing it until Level 19.

Lvls 19-27:The Tropical Wagtails

Time for tropical wagtails, these are a little west of the crimson swifts so do what you did for that. This is the last type of bird you will hunt, bring two snares this time, because once you hit 20 hunting you can set up two traps! Hunt Wagtails until 27 hunter.

Lvls 27-53:Eagles Peak and Ferrets

Now its time to get some exp by beating the Eagles Peak quest, it will also give you the ability to catch Ferrets.

Once you have completed the quest you will know where to hunt these, go to the place where you catch your first Ferret. Now the technique is similar to your bird snaring. Just set your boxes up (spread them apart a little) and wait until you see you have caught your ferret, once you have a full inventory of ferrets, release them all. Continue until 53 hunting.

Lvls 53-59: Chinchompas

These will be located just east of where you caught your ferrets, so head on over with 3 (or more) box traps. Set them down like you are catching ferrets, but only this time when you catch them, keep them. Hunt these until 59 Hunter.

Lvls 59-80:Red Salamanders

Now its time to catch salamanders, but first we will need some supplies.Gather 3 or more small fishing nets, if your in need try almost any fishing shop such as at Port Sarim and Catherby. Now we will need 3 or more ropes, if you do not have go to Shantay's Pass or Draynor (Ned) to buy some. Now we are set, get their by either teleporting to ardgoune or castle wars. For castle wars walk north towards the battlefield and when you get their walk west to the hunting area. To hunt them just set up your net and rope on one of the near by poles and wait until a salamander comes, once you get them drop them, and set your trap up again for another salamander. Hunt these until 80.

Lvls 80-99:Red (Carnivorous) Chinchompas

Get to these the same way you got to Crimson Swifts and Tropical Wagtails. Bring 3 or more box traps. Really there isn't much to this, just catch them like you caught the Regular Chinchompas only this time they will be harder and slower to catch, but quicker exp and a pretty good money maker.[/hide]

[hide=14.0 - Mining]1-15:Copper and/or Tin ore

Get a iron pick and head down to either varrock mines, after you get a full inventory drop the ores, continue this until you achieve 15 mining.

15-90:Iron ore

For banking iron use the mines south of the Fishing Colony (Swan song required). For dropping my favorite is Al Karid mines.

90-99:Granite

You'll need your rune pick, desert robes (optional),noted waterskins(if not lunar), water and astral runes for lunar spell (optional), money. If you have lunar, use it. If you don't bring noted waterskins. When you run out sell to the general store near by, buy back.[/hide]

[hide=15.0 - Smithing]1-29:The Knight Swords Quest

Its a fairly simple quest, and it shouldn't take longer then 45 mins.

29-40:Iron Knives/Platebodies

If you have the money, obtain iron bars and make platebodies. If you don't just get iron ore by either mining it or buying it. Smelt it at either Al Karid or Port Physamays (Priest in the Peril required). When you have the bars make iron knives.

40-99:Gold Ore

Before starting make sure you have goldsmith gauntlets (from Family Crest Quest). This is were smithing gets expensive, buy the ores then smelt them (with gaunts on) you will probably lose about 400 gp per gold ore.[/hide]

__________________________________________________________________________

[hide=16.0 - Fishing]Lvls 1-20:Shrimp and Anchovies

You will need a small fishing net, you can get one by visiting almost any fishing shop (port sarim is close by). Now with small net in hand, go to draynor village. Use the fishing spots there and fish until you reach 20 Fishing. For the next levels you will need a fly fishing rod and feathers(about 35,000), go to port sarim fishing shop and purchase both of these.

Lvls 20-80:Trout and Salmon

Now with our feathers and fly fishing rod head over to shilo village (complete shilo village quest if you have not) and head just a little south of the bank to the fishing spots, fish these until 80 fishing.

Lvls 80-99:Monkfish

First complete swan song if you already haven't, it will give you the ability to fish monkfish. If you have beat swan song you should know how to get there, so when you do just go to the fishing spots (with small net) and fish monkfish until 99.[/hide]

__________________________________________________________________________

[hide=17.0 - Cooking]Lvls 1-15:Shrimp,Sardines, and Herring

I recommend just fishing these until you reach 15 cooking, if you can buy the raws though,go ahead and do it. Cook them until 15 cooking.

Lvls 15-68:Trout and Salmon

Now you can buy your raws, instead of fishing, although i still recommend fishing your own for a few levels, you may buy raw trout and salmon. After you have your raw trout and salmon head on over to the rouges den. Get there by using Games ring necklace (rub to Games Room), you can also walk to burothope from Falador, it is not recommend because it is a fairly long walk. When you get in the burothope area look for the bar (by hero's guild and warriors guild). Use the trapdoor and it will take you down to the den. Go south until you run into the bank and the fire. Cook these until 68 cooking.

Lvls 68-94:Lobsters

Before we start cooking lobsters we need to do the Family Crest Quest, after that is complete you will get cooking gauntlets, be sure to have those wielded when cooking. To buy raw lobs just try popular f2p worlds varrock (west) bank. Cook these until 94.

Lvls 94-99:Shark

Now its time to cook shark, I prefer buying them off runescape official forums, you may also buy them in crowed p2p worlds.[/hide]

__________________________________________________________________________

[hide=18.0 - Firemaking]Lvls 1-15:Normal Logs

I suggest you just cut and burn these in Draynor, or if you can buy them. Not hard really just use the tinderbox on the logs.

Lvls 15-30:Oak Logs

Again i suggest you just cut and burn in Draynor, and if you can buy and burn.

Lvls 30-70:Willow Logs

Here is the time were you can buy logs with ease, just head over to a crowed Draynor bank and buy enough for 70 Firemaking. Now lets head over to either Falador(East bank),Edgeville, or Yanille. Then just burn and bank until level 70 Firemaking.

Lvls 70-99:Maple Logs

Here is the point where you choose which road you are going to take, you can choose the slower way of burning willows(will cost about 4 mil from 70), or you can choose the more popular way (the way i recommend) and it will cost about 6 mil. For the rich you can use yew logs and it will cost you about 19mil.

The Firemaking Cape

Congrats on achieving 99 Firemaking! Head on over to Ignatius Vulcan to achieve your cape, you can find him wandering around south of Seers' Village[/hide]

__________________________________________________________________________

[hide=19.0 - Woodcutting]1-15:Normal Trees

Grab a iron hatchet and head over somewhere in Lumbridge forest. Cut these until 15 Woodcut.

15-35:Oak Trees

Go to Draynor (by the jail) and cut oaks until 35.

35-99: Teak Trees

You can cut these on Ape Atoll (as a monkey too!) providing you have completed the monkey madness quest. If you are serious about woodcutting i recommend grabbing a lumberjack outfit from Temple Trekking Mini Game. When your inventory gets full just drop the logs. Its also recommended taking charged imp boxes so you can bank the nests you get from cutting.[/hide]

Heya Peter, nice guide!

For herblore, I did super attacks from 63-70 In a day, so I'm sure you can make some ajustments there. I'm sure you can do super attacks until 75. Then switch to super strength potions at 75, or do weapon poison, since it uses the same herb, you get more experience from it, and I believe the 2nd ingredience (crushed d'hide scales) is cheaper then Limpwurts roots, but still not exactly sure.

Hi..I think your xp rate for Wcing willows is a bit too little. A safer range I daresay is between 56k to 67k.

Also...I think the xp rate for Lvl-6 enchant is too low. It should be at least 100k+?

Most people I've talked to (as well as myself), think the average rate is only 45-50 for willows.

As for powercutting Teaks, you can get up to 75k, not only 50k.

it's ok, but of your stuff, like wc, is off. Starting teaks at 35 is very inefficient, you can't cut them fast at all. You should get around 70 or 75 before starting teaks.

Also, high alchemy is definetly not the best way to train mage. With level 6 (or whatever onyx is), you can get up to 90k xp an hour, and if you super heat gold or (with the gauntlets), you get 85k mage an hour and 90k smith.

Also you should do ape atoll all the way to 99, don't do the goblin one.

Not bad, but you have got to have more options.

Steel bars is faster than gold ore for smithing

No reason to go all the way to 90 with iron ores.

Doresh-kaan course is inefficient because it requires food.

for farming, i tried so many times to think of a way of getting great exp, yet not so much that it would be like 100M for a quick 99, but also not take 2-3 years for a cheap 99, i came up with the pineapple tree method

it's still fairly expensive, but if you persist with the daily pineapple pickings, you'll reap the rewards.

51 - 99 farming - pineapple fruit trees + bushes/herbs/trees/specials etc.

for planting, checking health, and picking the fruit, each pineapple fruit tree comes to a total of 4,797.5 exp, so 4 fruit trees a day = 19,190 exp

combine that with herbs/bushes/trees/specials and other kinds and you've got some easy farming exp.

i myself had 65 farming, and banked 80 farming for an easy 5.5M or so, i'm now currently 70 and in a few days i'll be 71, so the levels are pretty fast if you stay on track everyday with it.

8.0 - Agility

1-40:Toy Mouse

Need Help on how these work.

40-52:Brimhaven Agility Course

Make sure you have food, about 1k and Super Energy restore potions (optional). The quickest way to get here would probably be by going to Ardougne then using the ship (southeast of south bank) to Brimhaven, then travel to the Course. Pay Capitan Izzy no Beard (guy in agility cape) then climb down the ladder. The object of the game is simple, follow the arrow until you get to where its pointing, when you get there tag the post and wait until the arrow moves to a different area, follow it, repeat.

52-67:Wilderness Course

Bring some food with you so you can restore you health when you fail (you will fail even if your 99 agility) also bring something to cut webs with. Get there by pulling the lever next to the entrance to West Ardougne. Once you get teleported to the wild walk north until you hit a web, cut it. Now walk west until you reach the gates of the course. (you should pass Mage Arena and Pirates hideout on the way there)

67-90:Ape Atoll Course

You must do Monkey Madness and have a ninja gree gree though to do this course. And because you have completed MM it shouldn't be hard to get there, just go south from the guy you bought the talismans from in the quest and you should reach it.

90-99:Doresh-Kaan Course

Need some help with this method. "

Toy mouse mechanics: Toy mice are an effective way to train agility at lower levels. Built in a POH on a crafting table 4 with a clockwork (made with 1 steel bar) and a plank.

To train with toy mice, it is commended you have a few of them. The exact number isn't something I've calculated, but I suggest 8-11. To train, first wind all mice, then release all the mice, and then finally catch all the mice. The problem arises in that toy mice run everywhere. To overcome this, go to an area with very little room for the mice to run (I suggest the top of a tower in Falador, though there are many locations to use).

The wilderness I used to like, though I hear revenants now make it a pain.

I'm not sure if mice are better than barbarian course, but I think they are.

The werewolf course should be considered after updates to the wilderness.

Ape atoll to 99 an onwards. Dorgesh'Kaan isn't that great.

Also, energy potions for all training (except mice and Brimhaven). Cakes and agility potions for Brimhaven. A knife for Ape atoll (to cut pineapples) 67-75.

I'm lukewarm on this guide. It could be quite good, but I feel at present you lack the experience (this can be overcome with others' aid though) and the guide lacks detail.

Skimmed over it, but when I read over Construction I noticed you said to use best butler possible. I heard that when doing larders/doors (oak, if it makes a difference) that the normal butler comes and goes at just the right times for banking and restocking and costs less as well.

Untested by me, but something worth considering. :)

Hey peter ::'

60-99 Ranged:

Aviansies - Mith bolts + rune xbow are quite effective. Either with prayer potions or Bones to peaches tabs.

"Chinning" - Amazing exp. High cost.

Iron knives - Usually at yaks

Bronze Knives - Ogre cages in the ardougne training area.

Giant Spiders - 2 Spots, aggresive (although need to move)- Any range set up that has high-ish defense. Bring food anyway. Level 3 in SOS.

Just some i've used to get me a few quick levels.
