Lopsided

I didn't know where to post this, so i posted it here.

When i was making my avvy, i noticed that guthix plate is lopsided. If you look closely at the left side, it looks like part of it has been chopped off. I know this is small, but it was just a curious little detail.

And btw, how the [cabbage] do you remove that full size immage bar?

Edit: Thanks to latinoking for the help with image hosting. \'

You don't use a clickable thumbnail. :wall:

O rly?

That must have been because of graphic designer Nick F who was sleepy that friday of march 2005, and then his mouse did a haft of a second little thingy and guthix plate got a hole in it.

Aww, too late for guthix plate.

It's been near three years since that item came into existence (and in truth, a lot less with the new design), and no one's caught it until now.

Don't worry about it -- imperfections in the pixel art (such as RS items) make them what they are.

...Alright, the Elf City update lured me back to RS over a year ago.

Lol, sorry, but i have no idea how to not use that. The image hosting that tipit uses has no options as far as i can tell, and ive looked pretty hard.

But knowing me, ive probally just mised it

Still, if u have any other advice, please tell me!

I've always thought Guthix only gave lip-service to the whole "balance" thing. Next time I'm not voting for him.

:XD: !

Unusual find nonetheless. Impossible to notice unless you look at it that closely :) .

When you zoom out the lack of a black pixel at the border is not visible. We see it as zoomed out so it is invisible for us.

Perhaps even with an added black pixel to the left suddently the border looked more (or to) "black" when zoomed out

I suspect that the model used is actualy quite symetrical. Error is induced because you can't accuratly center your charecter. The controls are nor precise enough.

Then there is paint which is a limated program. If the viewing angle is not perfectly perpendicular, then it may not show corectly. It is just the result of inaccuracy, the wireframe model of a platebody is probably quite un-lopsided.

This was the inventory model, not the character model, so the 1st theory isn't correct. I would guess that you're right about the fact that paint just cant display the whole thing.. but you never know.
