MiyuLynx
strange how suicide is illegal, not saying it's ok. wasting life is never ok. what do they do, bury you in hand-cuffs? i can undertsand attempted suicide, but actual suicide is like on of those dumb blue laws. more on-topic. it's ok to feel like giving up. it's a rational human emotion. the thing that keeps me going is the prospect of a better tomarrow. Nero
At least change the title to "I dreamed I killed myself". I was hoping for a death letter to read. Vienna Raszyn Warsaw Klushino
indy500fan
I had a dream last night that I went to Taco Bell and they charged me $13 for a taco, a burrito and an enchirito, then it took 5 minutes for me to explain why that was ridiculous. Needless to say I ended up eating Chinese today rather than Taco Bell.
dusqi
So your saying that if u dont dream enough you walk around with more irrational thoughts... With your logic you should probably go to sleep now. What? Did any of what i said get into your thick skull. Dreams are what your subconscious thinks and if you deny that your subconscious doesn't have an effect on your actions in real life than you are a fool end of. Freudian ideas of the "subconscious" are extremely out of date with contemporary psychological thinking, as is the idea of interpreting dreams. Freud and Jung are mostly interesting historical figures in psychology. Basically no one ever quotes anything they said except perhaps to say "this is what they thought in the 1900s, pretty funny isn't it?" I'm not saying I know for sure that dreams always mean something but dreams should be respected at the very least for their power over individuals decisions and their importance in history. Agreed!! For it is the greyness of dusk that reigns. The time when the living and the dead exist as one.
Luke_L
I had a big fight with my parents and stormed upstairs. I took a gun, and I shot myself. But, rather than relief or something, I felt regret. Regret that I wouldn't be able to do so many things; that I'd be missing out on a huge part of my life. I didn't expect this because suicide has always been my... "safety net." I always thought that I wanted to die, and that if life wasn't going great, I'd be doing myself a favor. It's kind of strange knowing that I'll have to work through everything that comes my way. That I don't have an quick exit. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest, I just had to tell someone. By the way, this was in a dream, an extremely realistic dream, but a dream none the less. Aww, that must have been dreadful. -sympathy- I've made more attempts at my own life than anyone I know, so if anyone has had strong visions/thoughts/suicidal actions, I really do understand. It's really terrible.

Agreed!! +1. Over winter break, I repeatedly had these dreams where I forgot to shine my shoes and belt for ROTC, since I had to wear the uniform the day I got back. In the dream, I would be getting ready for school, realize I forgot, and fill with that sense of dread/anxiety you get when you realize you majorly blew it. That one happened twice, in the other one I forgot to put on my tie and left my cover at home. Because of these, I made absolutely certain i had those shined and my other articles where I would remember them. And Powman: you;re right, I'm surprised Soulest hasn't been hospitalized from those burns. Maybe someday.... Command the Murderous Chalices! Guest
I heard that if you die in your dreams you actually die in real life. I've never actually died in my dreams, whenever you have a dream like your going to die (such as you fall off a building) and your about to hit the ground you suddenly wake up. Is that just me or do others never die in their sleeps? :?

Is that just me or do others never die in their sleeps? :? Pfft, just a BS myth. Last night I had a dream someone took a shotgun and shot me eight[ish] times, in different parts of my body. For some reason, I told this person to stop being a moron, stop missing the vitals, and just shoot me in the frikkin' heart to end it. Then I got a giant hole through meh left chest from a last bullet, and I plopped down in a sea of my own blood after dying immediately from being hit. Just kept on dreaming after that though. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series. Has anyone here ever had a lucid dream? It's where you are aware that you are dreaming, so you have the power to influence your dreams (enabling you to do ANYTHING). :) Very interesting experience. Sometimes. Usually once I realize it either A) I try and do things and I still can't control it (such as I won't be able to get off the ground while trying to fly) or B) I just wake up a little later

Hawt_box
I believe everyone has thought of sucide atleast once in their life time. Not really everyone. However, I'll agree with the stats that show a clear neglegence towards this issue and mental healthcare overall. At least, that's how it is here... I think it's actually worse in the US too from what I've read. I've thought of what it'd be like to commit suicide. And I've thought about what effects it would have on the world. I've never really considered it a serious option and it's stayed the same since Ultimately it amassed to very little, and I gained a little insight into life and the big round world My hawt blawggehDon't worry guys I freak out when I see a girl too. One time I went outside and there was a girl so I quickly ran inside because I was so excited!

For whatever reason, most of my dreams are lucid. Whenever I dream, I am fully conscious that I am dreaming and that I am asleep. It's strange to be inside a dream yet know you're not really there. They're pretty boring sometimes though because in them I usually dream about real life. In a lot of them, I like crossing my legs and floating, because everybody else can do that in my dreams. Last night, I didn't realize I was dreaming and had an awesome dream where I invaded some castle full of computers with some gun from UT2004 and zapped all the computers, and then took it over and ran the place. Except it was some sort of game where you would take over the castle, and the other person would defend, and then we swapped.
Kaiser1993
Dreams don't mean squat, and don't believe otherwise. People who say they can decipher your dreams are hustling gypsies looking for a quick buck. I don't know...
