June 16, 200818 yr These days it's like Father's Year... I read an article about Gift Ideas for Father's Day... It says anything that we should consider when buying gift for fathers...Looks great...
June 16, 200818 yr Chocolate because he doesn't drink beer anymore :D The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.
June 16, 200818 yr I didn't get him anything. I haven't told him Happy Father's Day, yet, either. Might want to do that in the next 5 hours before the day is over, I guess. :)
June 16, 200818 yr Wow I never knew over seas you celebrated fathers day in June  I feel silly now. It's September in Oz. The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.
June 16, 200818 yr Got my step father an olive tree because he is a keen gardener. Doesn't fit in the sodding greenhouse though. Also got him a pack of midget gems seeing as they are unbelievably nice.
June 16, 200818 yr We celebrate my mothers birthday along with Fathers day, so it kind of worked out that the four of us (the kids) took them both out to eat the night before, gave them cards & presents which included various Wii additions (both my parents are like coke addicts to the Wii), like the tennis racket, or the baseball bat things, got them 3 new games as well. My dad got some new tools, my mom got cooking utensils, and then let's say they got some 'fun' gifts from the relatives. :o They went to sleep that night, my sister and I put up a sign on our front house 'Honk - 50th Birthday & Fathers Day' at around 2 am. We live on a fairly busy street. Around 6am the honking was constant. Then relatives came, shared cards and gifts, surprised the Fathers & Mothers by having Helicopter rides for each of them (5 couples). I don't know whether or not they hate us, or love us.
June 16, 200818 yr (both my parents are like coke addicts to the Wii) Otherwise known as Wii addicts...?
June 16, 200818 yr (both my parents are like coke addicts to the Wii) Otherwise known as Wii addicts...? No, Wii addicts don't compare to coke addicts. Though now that the comparison has been made, I guess they do compare. Wow, that was confusing.
June 16, 200818 yr A portable mini-fridge for his car for when he goes on road trips/out-of-town hockey tournaments.
June 16, 200818 yr I made a really quickly-made card for him using Photoshop. It sucked. I also got him a stuffed mouse (He was born in the year of the rat...), but nothing else. I was planning on sending him a e-card, but forgot. #-o Cenin pân nîd, istan pân nîd, dan nin ú-cenich, nin ú-istach.Ithil luin eria vi menel caran...Tîn dan delu.
June 16, 200818 yr I sent him an e-mail... He's in Russia at the moment, while I'm in Wisconsin U.S. EDIT: Are the avitars on the right of the page now for everyone, or just me? :-# [blingkachi50]
June 16, 200818 yr I called my Dad and wished him a happy fathers day. Can't do much more when he's out of town working.
June 16, 200818 yr EDIT: Are the avitars on the right of the page now for everyone, or just me? :-# Go read FU&S, and it's a bug in one of the skins. Should be fixed soon...
June 16, 200818 yr Lol, Fathers Day over here isn't until September! But I would probably get him a M.A.S.H. DVD or a music CD to add to his collection of what me and my sister call "Junk". If not that then I will take him mountain biking with me :D My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
June 16, 200818 yr I bought him a little book by Hugo Borst. It is called "Schieten op Volkert van der G." (Shooting on Volkert van der G.). Volkert van der G. is the man who shot Pim Fortuyn. The title comes from one of the stories out of this book. Hugo Borst and five friends of his were invited to play football against some 'two-bit crooks'. When they arrived they were on the field against a trigger happy rober, a serial killer, a man who killed a thirteen year old girl and on goal there was Volkert van der G. This is one of the fantastic football stories that are in the book. And it's all real. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
June 16, 200818 yr I got my father the best gift of all. NOTHING. (seriously, he enjoys getting nothing more than getting things. ) #-o :-k When you mentioned the Dragon Plates I had a sudden vision of a load of gangsters running around in fancy dress yealling "Grim Reaper in da hood!"
June 16, 200818 yr (seriously, he enjoys getting nothing more than getting things. ) #-o :-k No, that's just what he says to keep you out of expenses. Secretly he still hopes that you're buying him something. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
June 17, 200818 yr (seriously, he enjoys getting nothing more than getting things. ) #-o :-k No, that's just what he says to keep you out of expenses. Secretly he still hopes that you're buying him something. If we buy him something he tries to give it back to us or he just puts it somewhere and forgets it. #-o When you mentioned the Dragon Plates I had a sudden vision of a load of gangsters running around in fancy dress yealling "Grim Reaper in da hood!"
