August 31, 200817 yr Whoa whoa whoa Goat, your post has gotten me confused. I'm not trying to question your experience in the love department but dating at the 7th grade for 16 months?. Having a strong love for another person when you only communicated through texts? :| However, you have the right concept completely spot on. 99 Hits, Attack, Strength, Defence, Mage, Summoning, Slayer, Ranged, 96/99 Prayer
August 31, 200817 yr Yeah, if you are questioning my math, then from the start of the summer before to the end of he one after. Also, I said I like the oher girl. Not a "strong love" or anything. And if you are lost still, each paragraph is a different girl. I was only going to post about the current girl, but I felt like responding to deloriagod too. I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree. September 2, 200817 yr right, im gonna keep this as short as possible.: i have a mate at school who introduced me to this girl on his bus about 5months ago and she is 3 years younger than me (14), and we have never spoken in real life, although we have a habit of "looking out for each other". we get on really well on msn and stuff though. theres never been a time when we havent been talking when both of us are online. anyway, before these big summer holidays we had developed a really good friendship and we tell each other and trust each other with everything, and we simply love chatting as much as possible. my mates all think i fancied her and they have texted her and msned her saying stuff like that, which was never true, because we had briefly discussed "us" and we are both happy as we are and dont want to muck up a friendship which could last years because of a relationship which could last only a few days. so for all of august i was on holiday in australia and was not in contact with her at all. i knew id miss her and she missed me, which is why i was on msn to her constantly the day before i left. you probably know whats coming... so im 4 days into the holiday and i cant bear to be away from her any more because of how much i missed her, but then she texted me and i was fine for a while. However, after this I realised how much I wanted to be with her, and I havent told anyone. Im thinking of telling her how ive started to feel, but im not sure how shell react to it, and I dont want to ruin how things are at the moment with her. If we went out then it would be loads of fun for us both I think, but then again this probably wouldnt happen, (unless shes been hiding her feelings even better than ive managed to) and then if we broke up, that could ruin our whole friendship I hope this makes sense, even though it was a bit drawn-out. Please help me, I need all the advice I can get. cheers
September 2, 200817 yr hey there's this girl who's sitting down next to me in class, we talk and stuff but today she told me that she really liked me but she doesn't think im the type to get involved in a long term relationship which she wants. She said to give her an answer tomorrow, i really really like her but i just want to get laid. if i get in this relationship with her id probably be stuck #-o #-o until college dating her and having sex! \ \ if i don't i hurt her feelings and come off like a jerk because everyone thinks we're cute together and she's really hot. Relationships scare me :ohnoes: and they are other girls id like to shag first before i get into a long term relationship what should i do?

Please help me, I need all the advice I can get. cheers[/hide] The way I see it, you're at a fork in the road. You've gotta make a decision between keeping the relationship as just friends, or going further. If you keep it as just friends, the feelings you have for her could very well get in the way of that, and above all else, it defies what should be the first rule of friendship - honesty. Then, if you go for a relationship, you're right, it could go wrong and you'll likely never regain what you have now. It's up to you two to talk it out, and see what's best for you and what you both feel comfortable with. If you both feel comfortable being just friends while holding those feelings, then fine. But if not, you have to live with that. It's not a nice decision but that's what you're facing. There's two other things that are concerning me though. Firstly, you've never met her in real life. Conversations on MSN are much easier than real life. You can take a good minute to think of a good reply. You might talk forever, but in reality, you might only keep a conversation going for a few minutes before you run out of things to say. That's why real life interaction is always important before establishing a relationship like the one you describe. The second thing is the age difference. She's 14. I'm gonna prejudice this view with my own personal beliefs, but 14 year olds are simply not mature enough to keep up with that type of relationship a 17 year old wants. Both emotionally and sexually. That could be an obstacle if you do take it further. Like I said, it's your choice. But that's my analysis. I hope it helps you make a good decision. Most importantly though, talk to her about it! The two of you can't have a relationship or a close friendship if you keep things like this from each other, can you? imbackstinkers - if you're just in it for sex, but she wants more, just don't go there. You're not looking for the same thing, so you won't get what you want from each other. Simple as. Unless you want the cold shoulder while sitting next to her in class, just don't. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |
September 2, 200817 yr cheers ginger warrior. im not concerned at all by the age difference, cos she is sort of really well developed, which is why she can easily buy booze :P and i totally understand the honesty thing so i guess its best if i discuss it with her sooner rather than later. but the last few days shes been upset cos her 16 year old friend got dumped by a 17 year old guy cos he fancies her instead and she wont go out with him because of her friend's feelings, and ive been told this may be her way of making me jealous so that i open up all of my feelings, but im not so sure anymore, especially as i was just talking to her but she wasnt talking much or asking many questions :? i really need a decent way to find out what she thinks of me. but the only options i can think of are to jokily ask it in a conversation sometime, or through one of her friends who i also talk to a bit, but then they might tell her i asked them and thats where i would seem dishonest to her i think i already spoke to a friend who said i should play the "hard to get game" or the "make her jealous of other girls over me somehow game" so if i chose that id need a bit of advice on how to do that, god this is all so complicated!
September 2, 200817 yr Don't play any game. That situation she's in sounds awful. You couldn't pay me enough to be a teenage girl, honestly. I'd lay off the whole you fancying her thing. Given she's already having to deal with someone who wants to go out with her, and her friend's directly involved, I think that's enough on her plate. What I would do is tell one of her close girl mates, and then she can just tell her in private without all the awkwardness and confrontation of you telling. You get what I mean? Then if she feels ready to deal with it and talk to you, she knows where you are, and you can front up to it then. It needs getting out in the open, but without all the friction and awkwardness really. I feel sorry for her. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |
September 2, 200817 yr Aargh, I'm confused. In any case there was a girl who I was a boyfriend of. Everything was going well until she yelled at my mom for unknown reasons and we didn't really speak a lot after that. Recently we've had conversations and she almost wanting me to be her boyfriend, but I don't know about second time around... How should I deal with it? Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again

Everything was going well until she yelled at my mom for unknown reasons and we didn't really speak a lot after that. Recently we've had conversations and she almost wanting me to be her boyfriend, but I don't know about second time around... How should I deal with it? Try to talk about the past with her. Why did she yell at your mom? If everything was going well before that point, it could have been just a minor issue mixed with a bad day. Talking is strongly suggested. Edit: Question answered :D Beer

September 3, 200817 yr Author hey there's this girl who's sitting down next to me in class, we talk and stuff but today she told me that she really liked me but she doesn't think im the type to get involved in a long term relationship which she wants. Look, if you don't feel comfortable with the relationship, it won't last. You're in High School, right?(I assumed so since you made the remark "until college") And according to a website, less than 2% of High School relationships carry out after both students leave school.(Currently trying to find a verified source on these statistics.) So basically, if you genuinely like her, the best option would be to get into a relationship. An alternative would be to get her drunk and you can have your one night stand. Relationships scare me :ohnoes: and they are other girls id like to shag first before i get into a long term relationship what should i do? To be honest, you sound like a lot of kids my age. Freshmen. Desperate for sex. If the girls where you are are anything like the ones around here, you'll be in a two-week relationship, and if she isn't a virgin, you'll have sex. Probably several times. High school is the place to go when you don't want long term relationships. A lot of the girls and, of course, all of us guys, are immature and intrigued by sex and how forbidden and oooh and aaah it is. Even though if you put sex on a pedestal, you'll end up very, very disappointed. And stop watching porn. Nothin' like it. Anyways, just go out with a damn girl if you like her and see where it leads. Don't pester her with the idea of sex. Relationships are friendships, only you probably don't stick your tongue down your friends' throats. And you won't be in a relationship, judging merely from your post. You'll hang out with her at school, feel either awkward or comfortable, and go on occasional dates. That's what most relationships are for us in high school. So, really, don't sweat crap like that, of all things. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

September 4, 200817 yr Might she be talking about feelings and emotions because the two of you are close? OK, it might be a sign that she trusts you in a deeper context than 'just friends', but it might also be that you're a trustworthy person in her eyes so she feels she can confide in you. Only one way you're gonna find out - ask her who she likes. Not referring to yourself specifically, but generally. If she gets funny about answering, I think we'll all know who. ;) | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |

September 6, 200817 yr Could always stuff your feelings into a dark place and never, ever talk about them. Ever. I call this the Manly Method. You like her, go for it. Anyways, I don't need help, but high school is swarming with girls. Pretty awesome. Just wanted to get that out there. ^_^ catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
September 6, 200817 yr My situation is odd... but apparently common. Okay, I just started High school 2 weeks ago. Before I start, I am a 14-year-old Freshman guy (heh, yeah : I'm another one). and I am kinda shy, but I answer all questions openly and honestly, regardless of who is asking. And I am rather 'different' from everyone at my school. the stereotype of freshmen guys at my school is that they are obsessed with sex, the nerdy ones(my group) are COMPLETELY nerdy (in almost every way), the more popular ones are rich and get what they want, skaters are creepy and half [developmentally delayed]ed, and the emo's don't do the normal emo stuff, they just dress like 'em (and I completely don't like them). so I am different because, I am considered to be nerdy - which I don't deny, but that's just because I can run a computer better than 97% of the staff. but yet, I work out, I ride dirt bikes, I know how to drive a manual transmission vehicle(close to 85% of the people in my area cannot - and i'm only 14 \ ), I am good with woodworking, and see life as what it is - not as a fantasy perfect world, or a dark demonic failure world.... I am one of the few that can face facts at my age. Now that you've gotten to know me, here's my situation; there's this girl I like... a lot. I've had a crush on her for 2 and a half, almost 3 YEARS. She is one of the preps - and those who are in high school or even junior high know that preps and nerds don't work. But i did get to know her right before i started liking her. So I'm not basing my opinion off of looks. Not really sure how I can really elaborate much more. Thanks in advance to those who help.

I was kind of a nerdy guy but I got with a preppy girl (though I've changed a lot, I dress preppy, hang out with anyone from any social group, take pride in what I can make of my body, etc). It's not about being in the same social groups once you get a little older. Sure, they exist but you'll all start to co-exist. If social groups are keeping you apart, give it some more time. Eventually you'll both stop being bound by words like "prep" and "nerd". Freshman year isn't a good year for dating either, imo. Get your GPA high this year so you can slack in the future if you feel like it without killing your chances at college. Internet Marketing For Newbies

I was kind of a nerdy guy too last year, but now that I'm getting older, I'm changing. Social groups are starting to matter a bit less as well. Freshman year is infact a bad year to date. I didn't even pursue anyone that year, and I'm glad. This way, as a sophomore, I can date more people easily. Also, to freshmen, age matters a lot more than it does to the upper classes. And the GPA thing is true, I'm just glad I can slack off AND keep a 4.0. Also, dating before you are 16 is nearly pointless. I know I'm 15 and dating currently, but having that driver's liscence makes it so much easier. I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree.
